As a person who’s partial to cosy, charming and airy bookstores, I’m thrilled an indie bookstore such as Luna has come up in Hyderabad. Easily the first of its kind in the city, Luna breathes life into a void that’s built up over time in the city with a massive decline in cultural and intellectual spaces. Run by enterprising and book loving sisters, Luna feels like a labour of love. Set in a home space, the books are spread out over three small areas for now— Fiction, Non Fiction, and Children’s. The collection is top notch and fairly diverse for a first bookstore venture, and clearly well curated to keep you browsing for a good few hours. The decor is tasteful, elegant, and classic. What stands out about Luna is simply the amount of space to walk around, sit, browse in. Something many other established bookstores struggle with providing for various reasons. Luna is accessibly located, just off the main road with the Checkpost metro within walking distance. If you’re in the neck of the woods of Jubilee Hills and love books, please do drop by Luna and spend some time, strike up a chat with fellow book lovers and perhaps make a new friend or two! Hoping there are book events, and a chonky cat or two in the space soon! Luna has built up excitement like not much else among the young readers of the city, and for good reason!

I walked into this bookstore and immediately fell in love. I've never seen anything like this in Hyderabad. This is supposed to be a review but I need to write about how this experience felt, this place has soul and character. I felt transported, lost track of time admist all the books that surrounded me . It has an impeccable collection of handpicked books that truly make you realise why you fell in love with books in the first place. The owners are lovely and this place means a lot to them, it is evident when you see the amount of work they put into this place. They personally helped me pick a book when I was spoilt for choice and I can't wait to go back.

Lovely place. I love how they have seating to encourage slow browsing and reading. They have a really good collection and I really enjoyed my time here. It's peaceful and it feels like stepping into a different world as soon as you enter, I loved the music too. Ended up reading a book and buying another three. However, keep in mind that most of the books are higher priced as compared to Amazon, but then this is a local bookstore so I felt like supporting it, especially for letting people read in-store, that's such a nice experience and so rare these days.

The bookhouse thats very close to my heart. Run by a wonderful and extremely well read family. You can spend your own time glancing through their wonderful collection of books spread out in a beautiful way. One of my favourite places to spend some time getting lost in the magic of books. Hope they start a bookclub as well. Note that this bookshop is very different from crossword. Don’t expect to find the regular lot of books here. Be exploitative with the collection that luna has.

Nestled snugly in a quiet neighborhood of Jubilee Hills is a charming bookstore named Luna. The place is new, cozy, and simply delightful with a good collection of books. I really loved the display in all the rooms and their taste for minimal decor. There are chairs and tables outside (literally under a tree) for anyone to read and enjoy the blissful environment. A beautiful (and much needed) store for bookworms alike to visit.

Lovely bookstore. Even before you enter the store you feel at peace. As soon as you enter, you will realize in many different ways that this book store was opened and run by people who are passionate about books. The books are sold at MRP though but the ambience and location of the store makes the rate necessary. You can also donate your old children books that can be helpful for other not so privileged children.

A newly opened Bookstore. Designed perfectly for a Reader for a better ambience. This store is unique in its own kind because you might find some rare collections which one might not find in any other place. If you are In Hyderabad or Secunderabad, Do visit this place. Just few Steps from the Jubilee hills check post Metro Station (blue line). Do Support the Independent bookstore. I'm sure you'll love it.

Although I do understand the predicament of bookstores, buying a book should be different from visiting a bookstore. I have been to a number of bookstores where you can have a seat and read books, this is not one of them. The owner was not nice - would be an understatement, both the times I visited this store. The collection is huge, but the owner is a little too rude for me to visit the bookstore again.

It was amazing. I liked how well they maintain it and what a great collection of books they have. What I liked most is that I did not find any over hyped bestsellers over there. It's a place promotes reading and reading great books. Not promoting books or aiming to sell more books. It's so rare to find such bookstores in this alpha gen era. And i plan on visiting it again and again.

This is such a gem of a bookstore. The collection is very well curated. I am really impressed with the quality of childrens books. And the ambience is very calming. A much needed book store to replace the loss of other indie bookstores. Highly recommend the place to anyone looking to buy books.

I have visited the bookstore. I feel like for a moment I am not from this universe. It's so good place. Well, I didn't buy any books. But the ambiance and behavior I got from them that was incredible. I am recommending all of you to visit this bookstore if you are a bookaholic person.

Finally, the best bookstore in the city of Hyderabad. As a bookstagrammer, i could see a wonderful collection of books here. No stone is unturned. They have classics, nonfiction, fiction, and more. You will love this place if you are a book reader. I highly recommend the place.

This place is a completely unexpected bit of magic in Jubilee Hills, where it’s more usual to find clothing and fine dining places. Two floors of books, helpful staff, and outstanding interiors make for a book buying experience that you simply cannot find these days.

The most beautifully curated selection of books, by book lovers, in a warm and friendly setting. Way better curated than even Bangalore bookstores. Luna has brought back the joys of happy, endless browsing. You’ve spoiled true book lovers, may your tribe increase!

Absolutely warm people running the store make it even special. I loved the charm of the place and can’t wait to return back to hyderabad to take a book and read it in their lawn . They have a good curation but lookjng forward to more books on food .

5 stars for the space and the way the whole place is setup but 1 star for the prices. Books cost you almost double than they are available online. Apart from that anyone would certainly fall in love with the curation of the collection.

A cosy and inviting bookshop with a curated collection. Just opened! Currently has 3 sections, but will be opening the upper section soon. Had a lovely time earlier today. A must visit for all the bibliophiles out there!

Exotic collection of beautiful books that are different from usual bookstores. And the vibe is warm, welcoming and calming. One suggestion is to add a reading place/ a library kind.
