Friendly. Local. Helpful. Very Professional. We recently took advantage of the Greener Homes Grant / Loan and as part of the work; had a new furnace and Air Source Heat Pump installed by Lynn's. Josh came down and gave us a quote. He was friendly and diligent, quickly telling us which upgrades that were relevant for Greener Homes were worth it and which not. We had had another contractor in for a quote that told us to forget about heat pumps because they sucked, didn't work in the cold, and would cost us 25,000$... after doing quite a bit of research, I decided to have another quote from Lynn's as based on what I read, I didn't believe the previous contractor really knew what he was talking about, and was not really up to date on heat pump tech. Josh was super knowledgeable and seemed very up to date on everything relevant. He answered all my questions (of which there were many) about heat pumps / furnaces, efficiency, how they work, if they're worth it, ROI, etc., as well as all my questions about the furnace / heat pump in relation to the greener homes grant / loan. He replied quickly to emails and as far as I'm concerned really went above and beyond customer service wise, even asking the head plumber a quick question I had about a totally different small plumbing issue when he was at my house giving the quote and texting me his response the next day. He was communicative throughout the whole process, giving us a heads up on an upcoming price increase that would affect our quote (before we had paid the deposit and agreed to the work - once you do that, Lynn's is so confident in their ability to quote well, that they lock in the price)! He filed for the rebate for us through Efficiency MB, etc., again, really fantastic customer service. The install was painless, two gentlemen came and it took them one day. The one who installed the heat pump was super knowledgeable both about the install and the heat pump and how to use it. He told us he has one himself and loves it and really was able to give us the "tips and tricks" on how to maximize its use and efficiency based on his own experience with one. Overall, the experience with Lynn's was great. I have only dealt with them in regards to this furnace and heat pump install, but I would be more than confident recommending them for any pluming, heating or HVAC job and I know that if I need any sort of that work done in the future, my first (and likely only) call will be to Lynn's.

My furnace died at the tail end of the winter on a Sunday night. I called many different companies after hours. Most didn't sound super interested in taking the service call. Defeated, I waited till Monday morning and called Lynn's at 8am. Their technician, Steven, showed up before 9am and right away seemed amicable and professional. Steven confirmed that it was the inducer motor that had failed. Before telling me to replace the entire furnace, he took the time to check my heat exchange to see if replacing the inducer motor would be more cost effective than replacing the entire unit. He was very educative, physically showed me the parts and damage and didn't mind my million questions. Unfortunately the unit was on it's final leg and Steven explained that replacing the whole furnace would be the way forward. He got multiple space heaters going in my house and got in touch with his sales person, Josh. Josh called not long afterwards and we met that same day. Josh was also very nice to deal with; very respectful of our home, pleasant banter and knew his product (and the product of others as well). After he left I got quotes from other companies (selling Carrier, Bryant and Trane). While Lynn's wasn't the cheapest, we decided to proceed with them because their price was still competitive but their service thus far had been exemplary. The day of the furnace install, Lynn's technician Steven showed up with another technician. They had the old furnace out and the new furnace in within a morning's worth of work. They took their time to remove the old duct work that connected to the old furnace and installed all brand new so that we ended up with everything fitting perfectly together. They also removed the drain line going to my sump pit and rerouted it to a little giant pump that they installed that then drains to my sewer line. They cleaned up after themselves and left barely any signs that they had been there in the first place. The pride of workmanship is honestly top notch with the work they did. I wouldn't think twice to hire Lynn's again. Me and my family are very much appreciative of the excellent work these guys did for us. We highly recommend Lynn's. Big thanks to Steven and his crew!

They did what they said they would. It was so nice to deal with a company that stood by its word. I needed a new furnace and air conditioner, I found out from Josh at Lynn’s that a heat pump rather than in air conditioner might be a better idea. Man was he right! I won’t get into it too much, but with the federal government giving huge rebates for people installing these heat pumps, they come out to less than a third of what an air conditioner would’ve cost. They use less power to operate and they can both heat(down to -10°C) and cool your house. But back to Lynn’s. When I agreed to have them install the furnace and heat pump, I was assured that they would relocate the heat pump to the side of the house rather than the backyard where the old air conditioner was. And that they would clean up all the wiring and piping etc. from the old air conditioner. And, of course, haul away the old furnace. They did exactly as they said they would and the job was very well done by the three installers that were there. I didn’t really think about which people they were going to send to install, but found out that one of them was a licensed electrician, another was a licensed gas fitter, and a third may have had his license fir something but he was more of a gopher. They all did various other jobs, but it was nice to see Licensed people doing the work. Of course, this makes sense, but as I said, I never really thought about who they would send. The job was done in about eight hours and the guys were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up the old equipment. And showing me how to operate the heat pump and furnace. I would easily recommend this company. They are like the old Mom and Pop places that we all knew and loved. You can take them at their word they do what they say they’re going to do and that is refreshing.

It didn’t take very long to decide who to contact for help when our furnace decided to retire in late October. Lynn’s had done work for us in the past and did an outstanding job so we didn’t hesitate to call them to get our furnace replaced. Lynn’s treated us like a valued customer throughout the entire process from Lanae taking our original call, Josh providing us with a same-day competitive non-pressure quote, Dallas and his helper doing the tear down and install, and Steven completing the install. Everybody involved understood the urgency of the situation and therefore, we were confident that they would take complete care of us. Of course, they were extremely busy as it was the time when people are starting up their furnaces for the season but in order to ensure that we would be taken care of, Dallas the owner started the job the very next day. Yes, the owner!!! Lynn’s was able to provide us with a high end product for a great price and the service was second to none. The whole crew from start to finish were super knowledgeable, friendly, and experts at their jobs. Each went the extra mile to get the job done efficiently and skillfully. In the future, if we need a new product for our home, maintenance, and/or repairs, there is only one company we will need to contact…Lynn’s!!!

I had an old furnace that needed replacement and decided to go out to market to see what my options were. I decided to give Lynn’s a call and Josh came by the same day, providing a written quote on the spot. He was extremely personable, easy to chat with, and I didn’t feel any pressure to make a certain decision. From there Josh made himself available anytime/day for any questions I had, responding promptly. He did everything he possibly could to accommodate me. Given Lynn’s reputation, reviews, and customer service, I was confident in selecting Lynn’s to replace my furnace. Upon selecting Lynn’s, Josh scheduled my furnace replacement immediately where I met Steve and the rest of the installation team who were all friendly and knowledgeable. They respected my home by carefully removing the old equipment and hauling in the new equipment, making sure runners were laid on the floors for protection. Upon completion, Steve then took the time to walk me through the work that was completed and answered any questions I had. Him and his team were in and out in less than a day. The installation was exceptional and I’m extremely happy with my new furnace. I’m glad I selected Lynn’s and highly recommend contacting Lynn’s for your servicing needs.

had AC installed summer 2021, that went well, despite a lack of invoicing or formal quote (by text? I guess I'm old-school). Recently called for a plugged sink- tech came and tinkered around, while ruling out getting on the roof to check the stack. Fine. However, tech LEFT without fixing anything, without advising any course of repair, and left us with a sink that previously only drained slowly, but now does not drain at all, complete with a black mess of gunk to enjoy (see pic). The kicker: we were charged for a service call... without an invoice. Called to complain, was responded to quickly by owner, but they refused to refund the service call. It would have been the right thing to do, we are not obligated to pay for more service after such an unprofessional performance. Simply refund the money you took for doing LESS THAN NOTHING. How are working families supposed to survive if businesses operate without scruples? Why would we trust you after such a cash grab? Very disappointed. We got got Pleasant Plumber to fix it in a day. Sink works perfectly now. Oh: and they called today to see if we want a AC 'check up"! Astounding. UPDATED 06/21/22: no funds have been returned.

Our first experience with them was great! Unfortunately, the next experience was terrible. We called Lynn’s about coming to fix our a/c on an urgent basis. They said they would be able to come that same evening, which was perfect. However, as the evening continued and no one came, I gave them a call. The office again confirmed someone was coming. However, when the technician phoned me 10 minutes later, he said he couldn’t come after all, but he promised he would come the next day. The next day the office phoned and scheduled us for 5 days later! I expressed my surprise and disappointment with being rescheduled yet again given that we had been told more than twice someone would be able to help us promptly. We had planned accordingly and not sought out repairs from another company. The office staff did not apologize or give any reasonable explanation. I asked to speak to a manager, who she said was unavailable. I asked for a manager to call me back and I haven’t heard anything, even three days later. I understand it’s probably a busy season, but I would expect them to be able to inform clients accurately about the timeline for service. Very disappointed.

Our family is so grateful to have found Lynn’s Heating, Cooling, Sewer and Drain. We have been searching for a trustworthy, family-centred company to help us with our HVAC needs. Lynn’s recently installed our first central air conditioner this summer. Everyone at Lynn’s who we dealt with—Josh in sales, Sam the installer, Jeanette in the front office and Dallas the owner—were so friendly, responsive and professional that we had no hesitation in having Lynn’s install our new Bryant furnace when the old one stopped working. We feel good about the prices we paid for both the a/c and furnace packages—the quality really shows in the installed product, too. We shopped around and found Lynn’s prices to be very reasonable. We didn’t sense the same “red flags” that we felt from the other companies giving us quotes. We saw that Lynn’s has great online reviews and have experienced for ourselves that this business has earned these stellar reviews. Dallas and his crew gave us many bits of unexpected extra attention, service and kindness. I hope that we won’t need plumbing help anytime soon, but if I do, I’m definitely calling Lynn’s.

I called Lynn’s Hvac couple of weeks ago because i was looking to get Duct cleaning done at my house. The lady I talked to I specifically told her that i was looking for Duct cleaning and told her that this is a new home 5yrs old this is the first time we are getting duct cleaning done. she said ya they can do it on Thursday sept 28th so I booked the appointment and on Thursday when the person came and did his work he only did furnance maintenance and changed the filter. I asked him about the duct cleaning he said he was only told to do furnace maintenance. I didn’t want to argue with the guy so i end up paying $144 after tax and called the company again to check. The lady on the phone told me that they record calls and will listen to it and get back to me. She called back and was very unprofessional and rude and i bet she didn’t even listen to the call. She told me that a manager will contact us to discuss about the situation its been 4 days nobody has reached out to us. Super disappointed and will not recommend them.

Lynn's Heating, Cooling, Sewer, and Drain exceeded my expectations with their exceptional customer service. From the moment I reached out, Josh went above and beyond to address a broken hot water tank that leaked throughout our basement. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise truly stood out. Both Allan and then Travis, who came days later to look at our furnace, were friendly, patient with all our questions and did an excellent job explaining what they had to do and why. Their efforts alleviated a huge amount of stress for us. Even the nice lady operating the phones called back twice to co-ordinate a technician coming out within hrs of us calling them. Everyone we dealt with went above and beyond, sadly a bit of a rarity in todays world. I worry that under different circumstances a different company could have taken us for a lot more money. Kudos to the entire team for a job well done! I’ll be using this company for all my heating, cooling, sewer and drain needs in the future.

We are no longer exactly certain how we discovered Lynn’s HVAC company in 2016, but suffice it to say that they are the only company that we reach out to when issues with our furnace or air conditioner might arise. They are also the only company that we recommend to friends, family and to anyone who is looking for dependable assistance in this area. Dallas and his team have responded quickly to our needs no matter what time of day or night and they have always left us with the assurance that they are just a phone call away. Location does not appear to impede their response time whether the call was from North Kildonan where my mother lived or from our home in River Heights. Their staff is courteous, professional, knowledgable and always seem to somehow remember the needs of our furnace and air conditioner when they come for an annual service. We wish them nothing but continued success and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an HVAC company.

We suddenly did not have Air Conditioning, and decided with the temperatures in the 30's it was good to get some quotes. We had three quotes, Josh came to us from Lynn's and we were impressed with his valuable information regarding what we needed. He did not oversell us and provided us with information that would provide what we needed for our home. We decided based on the other quotes to book with him at the end of our appointment, he was able to give us a price that was well below the others and were informed that it could be up to a week or more for installation. We realize that it was a busy time with the heat we were experiencing. Hence we were shocked to get a call later that day that if we were home the next day, they could install it then. We were thrilled. The installers Daniel and Justin were absolutely fantastic. Clean work, and clean up of the old unit. It has been a few days since and everything is working very well. We would highly recommend Lynn's.

Our furnace stopped working, Lynn’s did come out promptly. Was advised our furnace needed a specific part which was not in stock but they could possible get an after market one for maybe $80 more. We agreed. The tech came back and installed the new part within 5 minutes our furnace was working. The additional $80 was added onto the bill. We didn’t see any part invoice so he really could have made up any price he wanted. The tech also mentioned another part will go soon and the furnace has oil and grease all over and advised we get a new furnace and their salesperson would be in touch. The whole situation didn’t sit well so we had a second opinion, turns out the furnace is fine and there is no oil or grease anywhere to be found. My advice to others would be to get other opinions.

I was at my daughter's house 2 weeks ago when Lynns were scheduled to be there to install a new gas furnace. They arrived as promised right on time and went to work immediately. The 3 man crew politely intrduced themselves. The work was done in a very effecient and professional manner and once done the lead technician went over the work that was done and explained how everything functions.He also made sure I was satisfied with the clean-up that was done, and quite frankly you would never know they had been there. In addition to their price being more than competitive their performance was second to none. They will be back in the spring to install a heat pump which I am sure will be done as well and professionally as was the furnace installation. Highly recommend this company.

We used Lynn’s for purchase and installation of a water heater a few years ago and we were so satisfied with the service that we thought we would use them again when our furnace motor went in the middle of winter. We were left without a working furnace because the part was not available. We decided to go with a different contractor that came by to inspect the problem they had a space heater for us until the following day when they showed up with the motor and installed it. This experience has changed my mind about Lynn’s. Edit, Lynn’s has reached out after I left the review and really showed interest in caring for their customers. Dallas was very interested in the feedback and offered us a AC check up at no cost, to earn us back as customers.

We called Lynn's on recommendation and knowing a staff member that works in HVAC there. We needed a plumber to fix our main water valve to the house, it was leaking. They were so helpful. They came out, assessed, told us to call the city to arrange water shut off and to call them as soon as the city comes back so shut it off. They were back to fix it so fast as they made us a priority knowing our water was off. We knew exactly what the cost would be ahead of time too. We had Beans come the first time to assess and Matt came today to do the work. Fantastic experience all around, quick, polite, efficient crew and it all worked out so smoothly! Won't hesitate to call them again when we need help!

Only one star for the first lady I spoke to today. She was very professional and polite. My furnace stopped working but I am having problems getting service as I live in a modular home. I was told a service person would be contacted to ensure they are able to service such a furnace and I would get a call back. I waited over 2 hours and called back. Another lady answered the phone and she said she would check. She came back on the line to advise no, we do not. I asked why I didn't at least get a call back and her answer was "well I'm not the person you spoke to before" not helpful at all. I was just asking for a call back and wasted over two hours hoping they would come. Very poor service.

Excellent, professional service with competitive prices. On Sunday 1/29/2023 evening my furnace blower motor was toasted. I called another HVAC company they said the part is not in Winnipeg and need to be purchased from Calgary. When I contacted Lynne's, they immediately jumped into it and offered to provide me with space heaters until the problem is fixed. Monday 7:30 am, they called me to follow up, at 9:00 am they were able to secure the motor from Winnipeg (the technician said they've contacted 7 suppliers until they were able to get it). Monday 9:30 am the motor was installed and the furnace up and running. Great HVAC contractor to hire.

I received Dallas contact from my dad, he mentioned they are very reliable and reasonable company for repairs my dad called Dallas and explained our situation with our A/C and that I was 8 months pregnant when the temperature were 32degrees. He mentioned they are so busy with A/C repairs to my dad but he still accommodated us last minute and arrived in an hour. Approx. 1 hour after arrival he had our A/C back up and running. Dallas mentioned we would notice it cooling down around 10pm that night and he was on point. We truly appreciate the quick service and will continue to get support in future from his company. The initial installation of a new furnace motor was quick and efficient. As the weather turned colder we noticed that the furnace ran much louder than previously. Mark came out to check the work. It was noted that the system was wired according to specification, but there was contradictory information in the user manual. The technician set it to the user manual setting. The system seems to be operating more quietly, as it was before the motor replacement. Appreciate the personal service. Both technicians were very very professional and explained the work very clearly.

We had Lynns install a new furnace and air conditioner this summer. We obtained quotes from several companies and settled on Lynn's as we wanted to support a local business. The salesman Josh was great to deal with, followed up with us a few days after providing the quote and was available to answer questions in the evening. The installation team was excellent, very respectful, and did a great job cleaning up after. When we had concerns subsequently, they were very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend them for furnace and air conditioner sales and installation.

In November i hired Lynns to replace my furnace, they were very friendly, lent us a few heaters while we waited for our installation date, techs were clean and left no mess. You can tell Dallas tries his best to put customers first and goes out of his way to communicate and provide quality customer service. There definitely were some hiccups that were out of their control but Dallas and the company have gone above and beyond to rectify those for us that I don't think many companies could match. As long as they're in business i'll be a life long customer.

Please first see my review of over six months ago. I should have stuck with my -1 star review. I had a leak in my dishwasher and called them to come take a look. The plumber they sent wasn’t even smart enough to shut off the valve to the dishwasher which caused it to overflow, ruin my hardwood flooring, and I have since had to file a home insurance claim. Today I call them to come do warranty work on my air conditioner that they SUPPOSEDLY fixed last fall and they won’t warranty their work. Please don’t waste your money with this company!!!

From the moment the technician from Lynn's pulled up in their big pink van, I knew that I was going to like these guys. Had some issues with heating my basement in my Charleswood home this winter, so I asked a friend who they recommended for heating contractors. The furnace I have is pretty used, so I needed a new one. They had some good deals at the time, so I replaced the furnace and the hot water tank. They did a great job. They were professional, clean and courteous. Will definitely use them again for my plumbing and HVAC needs.

We had to have our main inside water valve replaced. The plumber came out on time and did the work professionally and quickly. We are very pleased with the service and will call them again for any work in the future. And the price was lower than the original estimate. We've had them out several times over the years for work ranging from plumbing to furnace to A/C and have enjoyed the same top quality service every time. Lynns is the first number I call when I need work done.

From the moment I met Josh I knew I could trust this company. He was very patient and explained everything easily. The team came on time. They worked so hard to get my new AC on my old furnace. It was a challenging job but they stayed positive and never discouraged me. I was so confident they will do a great job and they did not disappoint. They cleaned up everything and it looked perfect. I have used Lynn's services since I bought my home in 2006. This fall my gas furnace died. It was very stressful but they worked with me and installed my new unit under their quoted price and in a very timely manner. I would without any hesitation recommend them for repairs and replacements. In this day and age finding a truly good company it is hard to find. they are honest and reliable. Thank you.

I called them when my water heater because their trucks amuse me , so why not? They apologized profusely when the couldn't come on the scheduled day and offered a discount and assured me they would come the next day. So what's an extra night with no hot water? They arrived the following day. The work was done neatly and the technician was polite. I was presented a full price bill and paid it.

When the furnace stopped working, I called Lynn's HVAC, and they arrived immediately. The technician quickly identified the problem and then showed me a burned-out circuit board. Within two hours of their arrival, my furnace was operating since they had the item in stock. I had an excellent encounter with this business and overall thanks to the wonderful team and service. Highly recommended!

Furnace died out in one of the coldest weeks and they replaced it as soon as they could and lent me three heaters until they could get the new furnace in and running. Always quick reliable service and on time. They explained in detail what would be done and after the work was done they explained what they did and how everything worked. They are my go to place from now on . Excellent service.

I had a furnace installed a few years ago and they were very competitive and I felt I received great value. They responded quickly as it was getting cold and I didn't have a furnace. Everyone that responded was very professional. I had such a positive experience I recommended them to friends when their furnace went. I am getting them for routine service and duct cleaning next week.

We are extremely grateful to Lynn's HVAC Winnipeg's team for prioritizing our plumbing issue. We contacted them to have a look since our toilet was dripping. They detected another leak behind the wall and patched it right away. It would have cost thousands of dollars in repairs if they had not discovered this leak. I'm so grateful and would highly recommend them!

Needed an old gas water heater (that was now leaking) replaced. Lynn's explained what the new guidelines were about and the options between gas and electric. I chose the electric hot water heater after hearing all options from Lynn's were explained. Service and communication was all done well and I would recommend them to any of my family and friends.

We used Lynn’s to replace 2 furnaces in our Childcare Centre. Dallas and all his workers were fantastic! They were efficient and worked around our schedule which was amazing! The price we were quoted was extremely reasonable and Dallas went above and beyond in making sure that we understood exactly what needed to and what was done. Highly recommend!!!

I can’t recommend them more. They are the best one stop service you could find in town. I used their duct cleaning and plumbing services, as well as outdoor vent installation. JM came and handled the vent installation, the most difficult job among all, and I am very satisfied. Call them if you need any help and you will definitely be satisfied.

UPDATE: Dallas had come by and checked out our washing machine drainage and he also checked our sump pump for no cost. Upon further investigation, our sump pump needs replacing. I had a good feeling from the response I received from the initial contact and then the in person services my furnace received from Mark and Travis were top tier. We had a line back up in our kitchen and Lynn’s did a great job coming by and identifying the problem. The work was efficient and effective. In addition they discovered that there were outflow problems leading to the city drainage system and so they were able to clear out the root system. No problems since.

I did not go with Lynn's for our AC unit but I have to mention that Josh, I guess he's the sales guy or maybe the owner, his communication was fantastic. I had a lot of questions while shopping for a new AC and Josh was really quick at answering them. He's very professional and know his stuff.

We have used Lynn’s twice so far. The first time it was for an emergency a/c fix on one of the hottest weekends of the year (of course) and Dallas came the same day and promptly fixed our unit. This most recent time was for a/c maintenance and the technician was prompt and courteous.
