I have arthritis when it gets cold i get really bad joint pain ,i get medical massage at Eastside medical massage clinic in the city every Friday . I was in school today the pain was so unbearable . I decided to get a cheap massage to soothe the pain so i can get through the day , as a licensed massage therapist i know the massage was not going to be top tier but i was expecting decent. THIS WAS THE WORST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE . She poured so much oil on me her anatomy knowledge is nonexistent. She only knew one basic stroke which was effleurage with her forearms. When i showed her how to properly massage my leg by demonstrating in her arm that’s when the session was a little enjoyable. I completely understand that not everyone can afford massage school but i know for sure there so many videos available on YouTube of therapist and myself included teaching the different types of strokes they are only 10 mins . Knowledge is power and practice makes perfect.I’ve never tip anyone below 30$ . I even regret given her the 10$ . This is what I get for being impatient. I only gave 3 stars because I’m sure my bad experience with her is not a reflection of the whole place .

OMG, I’ve been here a couple of times but I need to talk about my experience. Got there for my appointment, apparently it wasn’t written done, ( I made the appointment 1 week ago) which I have done before. Got there my number was not in the book. ( they go by phone number and time in one corner of a book.) 2 person I spoke too told me to sit. (Am sitting for 15 mins) Then the rude young lady came running up the stairs, got behind the counter and proceeded to speak to 4 other people who came after me. Now is my turn, she looked at me and said I don’t have an appointment for today at the time I stated. Then answer the phone and left me standing there. I waited then asked her why are u so rude I know I made an appointment and you’re telling me I don’t have any. So why Did the other 2 persons I spoke to told me to sit. Her answer is THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH. Honestly, she never made any attempts to look and see if someone wrote it on another day nothing to solve the situation. Well this is the last they’ll be seeing me and my money. They are too rude, no customer service. Non at all.

Update. My fifth time here, the sheet was stained (or dirty) and very thin and the masseuse did a bad job doing each side of my body differently. It was such a turn off I won’t be back in spite of the first four good experiences. Clearly things changed. This spa is clean, quiet, professional and a good bargain. The prices are very very good but don’t let it confuse you into thinking about that old adage “you get what you pay for” here the staff are very very good. I’ve gone about 4 times and each time it’s a complete pleasure. I’ve tried both male and female masseuse, there is no preference as both were equally good. If you like your masseuse you can write down their name, I did but again, they are all very good I had no need to stick to one. You can also make appointments on the same day as they have enough staff and close late. I almost selfishly didn’t want to write a review to keep the appointment flexibility open and prices down! Parking nearby is metered but get there a little early to give yourself time to look and you’ll find parking. I did each time.

Disappointed with customer service, I went there for foot massage and I left my AirPods pro on the chair and I forgot to take it so I came back to get it and the counter person said other customers might have taken it when everyone knows after foot massage they are suppose to clean it for next customers and amazing thing was they were ready to blame customers just imagine if there was someone getting massage after me she/he gets the blame. My masseuse was not even willing to listen anything she just showed me a hang sign saying nothing was there. It was not at all worth it they said they will call me they didn’t even call to confirm they didn’t find it or so, a customer chooses the place and if they like it they keep visiting it but if they are treating customers like this how can anyone trust them. I think people who are going there should be really careful since rooms don’t have camera they are all forced to blame customers. Very much disappointed the way they handled the situation I wouldn’t recommend anyone here.

I have given a 5 star review for the workers. But front desk lady was so rude to me Unapologetically, ongoingly, rude. I pointed it out, asked her to stop. She refused to give her name & told me I can’t write down the business. So sad, I wanted to come back. Is it people like me? I’m watching her smile and speak to others entering and exiting in my presence. One who can be disrespectful in English can understand the ask for respect. She hung up on me (I thought it were an accident, until I came in). A simple turn around (or dare I say, apology), & all would be well. 5 star review. After an hour sitting here thru her mistreatment, 1 star it is. A haughty spirit does not prosper. In the words of Maya Angelo, when someone shows who they are, believe them.

I been to massage spas before but nothing like this one. First of all on arrival the front dest clerk made me pay on the spot . As my boyfriend and I was waiting for our room to be ready, we noticed that people was coming out a paying after there massage. The massage was a bit painful rather smoothing. The best part was the stones and the warm towel. When my massage guy left the room I left up my head to look at my bf and noticed his massage lady walking on his backUNPROFESSIONAL!!! To top it of their forcing you to tip them $15 each!!? I brought my boyfriend here as a birthday gift WORST EXPERIENCES EVER cause we are laying in bed now with a sore body.

Was looking for a last minute massage in my neighborhood, was able to make a same day appointment a few hours before. Front desk lady was nice. The location was clean. Appointment started right on time, zero wait. Allen did a 90 minute body massage followed by a 30 minute foot reflexology and it was absolutely amazing!! I had so many knots in my back and i feel so light now. He kept checking in to make sure the pressure and everything was good. The pricing is incredible. I didn’t have too many expectations because the pricing was low, I was so pleasantly surprised! He really got in there compared to some higher end places I’ve been to. Highly recommend!

The best Chinese massage I've found in NYC. Receptionists speak English well. Long opening hours.. 10 am to midnight (though I wish they open from 9 in the morning) I can book appointment if I want specific therapist, or just walk in if I don't. Nice facility, no weird smells on the bed, face pillow, etc. I'd go with therapist Lia, for strong pressure, if I'm too tired. But she does it fast, not so relaxing. With therapist Cece if I want something more relaxing. With therapist Suzan if I want both, for longer massage (like 1.5 hours), because she has many techniques. I have recommended this to many friends now. Good job M beauty spa!

The massage was decent but I have had better massages for the $45 price tag. it was nothing spectacular. They only massage your back and not the front at all . The place was clean, so I had no issues with that. My problem was at the end of the massage, I went to tip the lady 10$ they got very upset as they expected, and almost demanded a 15% tip. (33%). The front desk lady rudely pointed at some sign, saying that on a 60 minute massage it was expected. I explained to her that tipping is not mandatory. I still ended up tipping the $10 but that soured my whole experience. I wont go back there.

Such a bait and switch. $10 MINIMUM TIP REQUIRED. And they charge customers $3 for credit card, which is by the way illegal as you're paying the commission the merchant supposed to owe credit card companies. I will report this to Dept of Consumers Affairs bc it is not fair you end up paying extra $3 when you find out you're short on cash. Oh did I mention $10 MINIMUM TIP required? If Paying your workers below minimum wage is your idea. Don't let customers pay for your illegal biz model. This place is run by a charlatan. And let's hope there are no bed bugs.

Second time coming here. Both times the massage was just okay, very strong even after asking them to lighten the pressure. Not relaxed enough to fall asleep. The prices are cheap for 90 minutes they charge $68 on a credit card. The most annoying part and reason I will not be returning is the mandatory $15 dollar tip. I initially gave over 20% but was told at the register I must give at least $15. I have absolutely no problem tipping more than 20% for excellent service but I didn't feel like I got that. Time to find a new spot.

Massage was good for "$35", however when it was time to pay I gave out $7 tips because i didnt have no more cash on me and walked out but the lady stopped me and said that minimum for tips was $10 after counting the $7 I gave her, so I had to borrow money from my sister to complete the tip. So basically tip is mandatory in this place and minimum is $10. Tip is supposed to be if you want to not mandatory, so they get pay $10 per hour for doing their job and we as customer are paying for that which is not nice.

Not bad for the price. $45 for a full body hour massage is pretty good. The people there were friendly and professional. The massages that I had here were good and targeted the sore parts of my body. The lady I had also cracked my back in a wonderful way. The rooms and massage beds were all really clean, overall the place had a relaxing atmosphere. They will remind you to tip the masseuse in case you’ve never tipped for a massage before. I didn’t really mind it because their asking price was reasonable.

They have a mandatory $10 tip when I called her out on it saying tips are not required she said there is a sign. I don't care if there is a sign, tipping is not required you cannot make your consumer give a certain amount in tips. I gave each masseuse $7 tip (that's all the cash I have and they charge a fee if you pay with card) and that was a problem so I just walked out. Maybe think about paying your employees instead of having your customers do so!!

I like this place. Truly. LiLi is Amazing. However, if you get the $35 body massage, you are basically made to tip at 28.57% which is $10. Tipping is not obligatory at all and it kind of makes the whole experience unpleasant. Just because you have a sign that says $10 tip does NOT mean we are OBLIGATED to comply. IF you state "service fee..." that is a horse of a different color. I remain a client only because of LiLi and the moment she goes, so do I.

Mediocre massage at best. I don't care for when you get walked on, nor do i care to be covered in oil, as i mentioned to the therapist.... I've been here twice and neither times could my therapist speak English... And there is amandatory tip of $10, which id gladly give if i thought it was worth it. I will not be coming back again, nor would i recommend this place. You can get a better massage for the same price in a lot of places.

The parson who answered phone was so rude. She can't understand what I said due to her poor English skill. She just keep talking like "Ha? I can't hear you!!" How comes she can't hear? I'm in quiet place. That's her problem, she doesn't have English listening skill. At the end she said "Come on time!". That suppose to be "Please come on time." I don't know this Chinese culture to speak this much rude? If so, they should shame.

Recent visit with my husband for 1 hour massage. The lady massage therapist was OK, not strong enough, but still acceptable. The male therapist was absolutely horrible. He has no technics, no focus point. It seems that the guy had no massage training at all, just somebody dragged in for the headcount. We still left them very good tips as the base rate is low. But we will never go back to this place again.

My first time here, felt the prices were great. My sister and I shared a room together which I loved. BUT the women and man who gave us the massage were talking and laughing during the massage. Now im not insecure about my body at all but having the person's who are massaging your body having a full on conversation and giggling is EXTREMELY distracting. I will not be coming back to the establishment.

I've been to this spa 3 times now for a massage. My favorite masseuse is the older gentleman (whose name I don't know) but his hands are so healing! You know how you go into a massage knowing it's going to be super painful and uncomfortable at some point? This guy relieved all the tension without that pain. & for the price? THE BEST! I'm so impressed by this hidden gem salon!

I usually get a good masseuse at this place; however, the last one that they assigned to me did not have a system and could not speak English. For me to communicate my concerns, I had to do some 'sign language'. I guess I did not do a good job as I got out of the room still with a sore shoulder. Of course, I still had to give the mandatory tip of $10.

I took my girlfriend here for a couples massage,even though the entrance was a bit sketchy too me I can honestly say for the price this place is great. Everything looked clean, the staff were friendly. We got to share a room which is a huge plus. My back and shoulders actually felt better after leaving this place. I worked with their e liposuction between their machines , dieting (weight watchers) , and their advice , I lost weight very quickly. Very happy with my results . Also the everybody is very friendly and the appointment days and times are flexible ! Nelly & Marina and very friendly, personable, and are even available to answer questions even by text.

I go here all the time and got the package. It is very clean and professional. You can great a seriously great massage for about $45 ($35 plus tip). I have never gotten a bad massage here. Everyone is friendly and professional. They also have water and candies for customers :) I also like that they are open late so that you can come after work!

It was beyond the worst experience I have ever had, the service was by far the rudest most disrespectful a customer would have to experience, the establishment was not appropriately clean , the employees were rude they were yelling at the customers and if that matter was not enough the massage was offered to the customer in the waiting room

Used to go here before, went there recently! The worst massage of my life, i think the lady was new, she didn’t understand any english, she was so rough! I didnt feel relaxed at all! I have body aches! I feel worse after the massage! not gonna go there anymore! And the massage bed at the head part smelled bad!! Not worth it anymore.

Great massage especially given the prices. Liya was my masseuse and she was great. Unlike many spas that provide halfhearted work, this location makes the most out of your time and really applies pressure to release those tense muscle areas. The place is also very clean and well maintained. Will definitely be coming here again.

Service are good. Also prices are lower than other places. But the masseur knows NO English at all. So it was little harder to make them understand how I want. Also they have mandatory $10 tips. So whatever the massage price + 10. I paid 60 for and hour massage. I will say it worth it.

Great service with a clean and relaxing environment! Masseuse was very experienced, kept asking if I was okay, she got rid of the tissue knot that was bothering me. I recommend M Beauty Spa, the price is affordable for the hour and definitely worth it!

Tina did a wonderful job. The place is very easy for JFK layover / transit. If you take airtrain to Jamaica center then E train toward world trade center its only 4 stops away and immediately at the street exit from the subway. Definitely will be back

Walked in without an appointment for a 30 minute back and legs massage. The space is clean and the service is friendly. Most importantly, my guy knew what he was doing! Walked out 30 minutes later feeling better, and that's all I could ask for.

There is a lady here who massages with her elbow which I don't like very much I come here to get pain relief and healing but she massages only with her elbows it hurts the joint of the body. Waste of time and money.

Used to be amazing when I used to go. I came in here and my full body massage wasn’t so great. He didn’t even massage my feet for the full body massage and the hot stone wasn’t used on my back long enough.

One of the best places for a massage for a very reasonable price! Tip: ask for "very /hard/firm press" to have the masseues to walk in you. If you ask for a dry rub, they would walk on you the full hour.

I have tried many masseurs, my favorite is Lulu, she is the best at massaging the waist and shoulders, after being massaged by her, I always feel refreshed!

During this time of Covid I felt safe. There is UV light and Sam is always the best doing massages. He took out a year of knots in my back. I feel aligned!
