I had my A/C system checked and the manager Greg(who at first seemed to be a great guy) told me his tech said that my system had no refrigerant in it and that the expansion valve needed changed. They wanted to charge me about $500 to replace a $20 part and recharge the system. Needless to say, I decided to do the repair myself. Upon making the repair, I opened up the system only to have every oz of refrigerant blast out into my face, garage, and environment. It's impossibly to properly gauge up to a system and it not show some type of pressure in he system. I honesty feel like my car sat in their lot for a few hours while they waited to call and give me a price on a repair and nothing was done to it as far as diagnostics. I'd strongly recommend going to a shop with more accredited name if you're unable to make repairs yourself. I hate to write a bad review as well, but they definitely tried to pull one over on me and it's unfortunate.

These are some hard working guys. Greg G. is great with customer service and Eric is a top notch master mechanic.I feel you might find cheaper, and you might find fancier, but you wont find better! As you can tell, I am a friend, but I was a customer first, now they are my friends. I did this review because I came across it looking up there phone number, I was amazed nobody had left them a review. Especially the people that have gone here from the Mustang Club. Mach 1 Automotive has worked on my 2013 Shelby, My 65 Mustang, my 75 Vette and a few others. They custom fabricated seats for me into the 65 Mustang. They are currently fabricating seats into a 90 Jeep Wrangler. They are not a huge fabrication shop, but if you are patient they will help with whatever you need done or can advise. If you need you car fixed, call Greg G! He is a really nice guy! Highly recommend!

Please be aware of this shop. I went for oil change. There has a sign showing $18.95 for oil change. I told them I'd use my owned oil then he said $25.00. I asked why, he couldn't answered much. He said $18.95 is promotion rate. I agreed to pay $25.00 sinceI was already there (even though I didn't happy). Next morning I found out good amount of oil leak in my garage. I check out the drain nut, it wasn't tide enough so I tried to tide it more but unable to. Threat are messed up because of over tided. To make it short I went back to shop and claimed them. They said it wasn't their fault, it was accumulated over time and unfortunately it's happened on their hands. They don't take the responsibilities but they can fix it. It's would cost about $80-$100 I pay half of the amount. I told them I'm not going to pay a penny and they installed temporary plug for me.

The shop has been backlogged for months and I understand they've gotten some additional help. I've been waiting somewhat patiently while researching the repairs I'll need, as well as buying the parts for it. As we all know, it's not the parts but the labor which is the most expensive. My experience with Mach-1 has been both their labor and repair costs are the most reasonable in this area. The price you pay for them to evaluate your car's problem is also applied to your repair costs. Since I live in the area, they've been kind enough to offer me a ride home and pickup, when my car is ready. They've evaluated my vehicle on several occasions and caught other shop's repair mistakes as well as found a problem two Dealer shops hadn't.

These guys are nothing short of awesome. I had some pretty pricey replacements for my car, along with another million things that Nissan wanted me to do - but Mach reinspected and only did what was really needed. HUGE price difference compared to all the other shops I've called and gotten estimates from, and the car drove like butter afterwards. Greg is super helpful and very detailed in explaining what and why each part is needed, and Dean (his pops!) is super friendly and accommodating (and had a cute bro-moment with my dad, extra plus ) Car approved, me approved, dad approved. 3/3 and 10 stars. I'll be coming back for any car needs!

Homie didn't want to give me customer service because I wanted an estimate, so he stuck me with his daughter. I ask her a question, oh she can't answer, she just does office work. Daddy has moved on to the next customer, super personable. Skips over me, does something in the back, I'm waiting. Finally gets to me, spins some stupid story like I don't know anything, oh yah yah yah, this window here, never seen anything and don't want to take five minutes to look, but this will cost you well over a grand just for a window. I went to Safelite and spent 371 plus tax. Thank you for absolutely wasting my time, Mach 1.

It's very rare for me to take time out of my day to write a review but I felt the need to do one for this place. I have had nothing but an amazing experience with Mach-1. I do believe they are a family owned business. They are fast, friendly and the prices are lower and much more reasonable than other places I have been to before coming here. Being a woman, I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of, ripped off, overcharged or lied to. I recently moved way out of the way form here but continue to take the extra drive to bring my car here. LOVE this place

Mach-1 is the only shop in town that i trust. My father has been coming here for years, and i would come with him and listen to them all talk about cars and turning wrenches, many great memories with my old man because of Mach-1. Now I enjoy working on cars myself but i know when I'm in over my head and i take it straight to Greg. there is nothing Greg and his knowledgeable mechanics can't or won't do. And his prices are straightforward and reasonable. Thank you for being the real deal in an industry that is notorious for ripping people off

What can I say other than these guys were great. I have lived in the Valley for 37 years and I finally found a mechanic shop I can trust. They do fantastic work. They are thorough, the work they did to my truck withstood the stress test on my trip to Flagstaff and Greg is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. One more thing, I drove 35 miles just to go to this place. Worth the drive!!

Very bad experience, I took my car for the air conditioning and I changed the compressor which only gave me a one year warranty and the worst thing never worked well now the warranty is over and my air conditioning doesn't work at all, how impotent if it had done your job well from the beginning this would not happen …

Greg and his team @ Mach 1 did work on our 2011 Chevy Tahoe Z71 that would have cost way more at the dealer. Also, they replaced my rear wiper, and replaced a hard to reach front marker light bulb.
