Made an appointment for a bruise to be looked at and was able to get an appointment for 12pm the same day which was great. The first surprise though was that event though this place came up when searching for "bulk bill", they don't actually bulk bill. You pay the whole amount and get part of it back from Medicare. I was desperate so said ok. I arrived on time and asked if DR. SUREKHA DESAI was running on schedule, to which the receptionist said yes. Anyway, 20 minutes later.. I go in. I explained the bruise. She had a look and said it was a superficial wound. I then asked her for a note stating she confirms I have this bruise. She then said, I can't say how you got it cause I'm not a detective? I was like, sure that's fine. The typing was very slow and took the majority of the 5 mins I was in there. I also asked for a specific type of cream that I had luckily googled before going in. She reluctantly prescribed a type of cream. All up, I was there 5 mins, 8 mins max! Their payment scale is something like this: - short appointment: $60 - longer appointment: $80 - Complex, Long appointment:$115 I was shocked when the receptionist said to me "So that was a bit of a complex one so it will be $115" I said "but I was in there for 5 mins only. She wasn't even going to give me anything, I had to ask." The receptionist tried to say, oh but you will only be $40 out-of-pocket as Medicare will reimburse the rest. But how dishonest to be gaming the medicare system like that.. charging $115 for a 5 min "conversation" and using taxpayers money to make profit. And what if I didn't have $115 with me, thinking this is a low-key appointment?

Saw Dr Surekha Desai in 2018. Needed a new letter of referral copied for a specialist which takes 5 mins at my other GPs. Billable Appointment time got dragged out for an hour by her being incredibly slow. Note, there was nothing done during the appointment other than the referral writing and printing. I didn't receive any real analysis or diagnosis, even with prompting. She otherwise seemed like a nice person but was not impressed and won't be returning. --- Edit: I did have to return, as her referrals were all booked solid indefinitely and not taking new patients. Please, call her referrals before you leave, so you don't get trapped here again.

Dr Wong the rudest arrogant Doctor ive ever met.Hes condescending,if you want to feel bad about yourself and get called Stupid see him.Gestapo Interrogation comes to mind.Hes insulting and the most Egotistical so and so . Can't believe the shameful way he treated me . Never going back even if im dying.Ill bet he bullies only women.A man would clock him .Thinking Of getting Legal advice as his interrogation and insults and put downs i consider abuse.The guy is a total TOOLand a total narcissist.He really thinks hes a superior being when hes actually a low life c.nt.

Made a booking online before work as I knew I was sick and it was close to work. Got there 10 minutes before my appointment time and was seen right away. Very efficient, helpful and thorough. Doctor Wong also had a nice sense of humor and the receptionist on duty was friendly. I would highly recommend! Pharmacy outside the office on the street is a bit expensive, even for generic brands. Fingers crossed I start feeling better soon.

Excellent staff. Very friendly. Dr Wong is amazing. He gave me practical, real world advice. I highly recommend this medical centre. I phoned to make a booking, and found myself speaking to the doctor within 20 minutes. Very clean and comfortable offices. Handy location. Located opposite NSW Parliament House. Close to all public transport. Paid parking is available in nearby office buildings and at The Domain.

Im a german backpacker and had a ensurance for apart with Allianz. Came there, very friendly woman at the reception. Paid the visit in cash (70$ for Gp) and got a formular that I can send to my ensurance so they pay the money back to me. Very good Service and good doctors! Waiting time about 20min. Had much much longer ones!

Usually do wait for the Doc but this time round was about 45 mins during business hours. Great doctor but only spent about 3 minutes diagnosing and consulting, which was dissapointing given the wait. Edit - response: Please respect anonymity of patients. Once again, dissapointed with quality of service.

I was able to book an appointment an hour after I called and was seen 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment by the doctor, who was understanding and was able to help me. The Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a doctor in the city.

I didn't get the check-up that i asked for, but was rather told to make a separate booking for it and pay an additional $30 copayment for another booking. Staff and doctor Ania that i saw weren't very friendly. On a positive note though, i did see the doctor at the timeslot that i booked.

Very disapointed with service. Dr D was unhelpful and gave minimal To no information. She made it very difficult and stressful to get a referral for another doctor. It took over 4 hours of calling the surgery to get them to finally organise a referral. Very rude front staff.

Seems to be the way they operate here. Made to listen to a doctors ramblings for 45mins, unrelated to why I was there so he could charge for a complex consultant. Considering he didn't even take a medical history, love to see Medicare audit this practice.

Dr Piliotis has been my doctor for over 5 years now. I have to travel quite a distance to see him (we've moved), and do so as he is actually listens; is very thorough and gives very practical advise when needed. Highly recommended.

Receptionist was incredibly rude for no reason at all. This was just now. All I did was just ask her kindly if this was the correct address for the doctors. I would hate it if other real patients were to ever be served by her.

Receptionist was lovely but we were waiting in the lounge for almost 50 minutes after scheduled appointment time. We even came early. Hope it was an isolated incident, but will not be coming back ever.

The doctor said to me “maybe you’re bored, not depressed” when I went it for a mental health plan. How will the stigma of mental illness be broken if even our medical professionals won’t believe us.

Sat waiting for an hour. They fool you into believing they are efficient with an online booking system. No different to any other GP otherwise.

Very convenient. Can use the online booking tool to book and appointment. The Drs that I have seen have been friendly and efficient.

Do love the practice. It’s handy to me and handy to the pathology. Dr Lovell is very thorough so, as a result, often runs late.

Dr Stephanie was pleasant and detailed, it’s wonderful having a female doctor to rely on who is knowledgeable and experienced.
