This hospital was a terrible experience for us. We went there because my mom was tired and had low hemoglobin, but it turned into a nightmare. The doctor advised urgent admission and blood transfusion, and later pushed for unnecessary tests when they found out we had insurance. They even made us take tests like endoscopy and colonoscopy for an anemic patient who was already tired causing unnecessary stress. During this time my mom got a brain stroke right in the hospital and none of the doctors present their were able to identify this or take immediate action. The physician Dr Ravindra T S mislead us stating she is having paresis and not paralysis. There is no facility of MRI Scan in that hospital and our mom(an ICU Patient) was sent somewhere in malleshwaram which was still under construction no hygiene and had to get MRI scan done. Due to all these we were quick enough to identify their inefficiency and move to aster hospital immediately where they took action and did craniectomy for my mom but the damage was done – my mom's right side is now paralyzed, her speech is affected, and her life is changed. It's painful to see her like this due to the wrong choices made at this hospital. We're sharing this feedback so others are cautious, as this hospital's carelessness and negligence have had a lasting impact on my mom's life. Even though stroke happened in the hospital they did not take right action and doctors negligence to understand the criticality of the patient is very disappointing. Nobody will take the responsibility of the damage that has happened to my mom.

Today I had the most traumatic experience with Dr Shenoy . I was blamed for entering his cabin when the nurse clearly told me to enter the cabin. There was no patient in the room . The previous patient had gone for a scan so they sent me in . The doctor is like he’s still seeing the patient . I clearly mentioned to him that the nurse instructed me to enter the cabin . No patient was in the room .In his words “he said that I’m trespassing” . Doctor Shenoy please look up the meaning of trespassing first . Secondly , he mentioned that people like me comment on google and give reviews and he doesn’t have the platform to give it back . I was being blamed for no reason ! Then he started raising his voice , I even mentioned that I’m feeling anxious and he should lower his tone, he called the nurse and started yelling at everyone . I just bursted out into tears and stepped out as it felt choking and directly went to the counter and asked for the manager . The manager and his team did listen to me and empathised but still no action was taken . So my dad got involved and spoke to the management . While he finally apologised. Here’s some feedback for you Dr Shenoy , you are a healthcare professional .. please do learn some people skills , learn to control your temperament . You cannot show dominance over people . You are so scared of google reviews then treat people with respect . People don’t write wrong reviews about anyone .. it’s there feedback . Learn from it rather than blaming everyone for it .

Very poor admin and billing staff. Make you come several times unnecessarily on the same day... in spite of lockdown etc, they are jot bothered. Only think of money. Worst experience. Hopeless pharmacy. Never have any medicine in stock...its always 'coming' Should have avoided this place. In spite of good connections and reassurance, hopeless facilities. There's no patient bell to call the nurse in some wards! Patients have to scream for attention. Even if they are struggling to breathe. Some of the nurses are very rude. Unfit to be inthis service. Please avoid taking your loved ones here. They will treated worse than animals. Not kidding. We have seen more empathy at the Veterinary hospital. Food is unpalatable. Sometimes spoiled. No empathy for patients or attenders. We saw several Bodies being rolled out. Extremely negative staff. My mother-in-law was asked if she will survive?! By the staff. That's how negative yhe treatment is. Only one lady called Shyamala was good. Some nurses don't even bother picking up the phone. In spite of several complaints to the hospital head. Patients who walk in and are wheeled out. If they are still breathing, consider yourself lucky. Patients come out with severe infections that were contracted in the hospital. Such a sad state of affairs. Dont deserve even 1 star. If there was a negative rating, they wouldn't be eligible for that as well. So hopeless. Zero ethics.

Availed the facility of Mallige Hospital for a Tonsillectomy procedure for my son. Compliments to Dr Arun Raykar and the anesthetist and the OT team for the professional excellence, pre and post operative care. Our special compliments to the nursing staff, ward boys and cleaning staff who were always wearing a smile and took their assigned task with passion. Never once during my son's three day stay did i see them upset, indifferent or not in control of any situation...the nursing staff took great care of all in patients and were professional to the core...the rooms, washrooms and nursing stations were kept spotlessly clean and adequate checks and balances were in place to seek patients feedback on services...Remember the names of Reshma, Akshata, Iftikar, Roopa, Renukama, Parmesh, Prasanna....apologies for missing out on some names...thank you so much...God Bless... Must also highlight certain issues that needs urgent attention to maintain standards aligning to the vision and core competencies set for itself by Mallige Hospital. We did have avoidable issues with the front desk, insurance and the initiation process for consultation and admission...the same will be addressed separately to the management...

Dr Srinath ji at Malege is one of the best dental Doctor in Bangalore who is widely respected country wide for his Profesional intigrity, medical knowledge and honesty. He is also professor of Dentistry. His clinic is fully equipped with all ultra-modern equipments including rotating dental X-RAY ,his clinic carries out all dental procedures with utmost precision and he has highly trained junior doctors and staff. Who talk to patients very respectfully. And patients are extremely happy. Dr Srinath beside being a highly expirenced and competent doctor he is a very good human being who will just not straight go for tooth extraction but try Other treatments. I have a very good expirence with Dr Sinath who extracted my tooth without much pain and smoothly.and at a reasonable cost. His charges are also reasonable but he is also a considerate human being who in special cases reduces his Profesional charges. Above all, after the procedure he and his doctors share their mobile no with patients and will attend the calls and advice accordingly. I highly recommend Dr Stinath"s clinic for all types of dental procedures. Ramesh G jethwani. Bes

Here is the overall feedback of our recent experience with Mallige Hospital. The Good: * The nurse, ward boy and cleaner all were gem and a professional. Never they once got angry or was rude. They were a true professionals. * These staff was available round the clock and they do visit frequently. They are also immediately available when you press the alarm. * The room and wash room were clean. * They did change the beddings and bed spreads daily. * The food and juices that was given to patients were good and timely. Not so good or requires improvement: * The insurance team attitude towards addressing the queries. In our case they were not clear and not really helpful. * The receiptionist when highlighted about an issue with a billing for diet that was not provided they just told me to go round and round to speak to someone else. * I was informed since we have corporate insurance then they have charged admission fees of 1200+. The options for attenders at the canteen is way too limited and there are no nearby hospitals at all.

I have been visiting this hospital since March 2017. My first visit was to be a surgery, and the receptionist was very cooperative with the process and guided us to insurance department. After that we were allotted ward - roughly 1 hour after reaching the hospital. Next nursing staff were professional in their duty and followed the instructions of the doctors. Surgery was in the afternoon as planned and must say the anaesthetist, and OT support staff were very good. Surgeon was known to me earlier that’s the reason I picked this hospital on the doctors recommendation. The discharge process was quick and insurance approval was obtained soon. The follow up dressing was an experience which exceeded my expectations. My wound healed and am glad. Overall I have undergone 4 surgery in this hospital and am extremely pleased with the facility, service and lastly the cost of service which in my opinion is reasonable. I would recommend Mallige Hospital any day.

  • Suraj Utmani

This is might come across as a biased opinion but bear with me. Most corporate hospitals function with purpose of making money and being a physician myself, i understand that. I understand they view it has a business model but atleast there is some evidence based medicine practised in some of these places but not here. This hospital justifies doing baseless tests with absolutely no indication. For a example, in confirmed case of urosepsis with septic shock and septic encephalopathy, the "nephrologist" advised vitamin B12 and vitamin D3 and those tests are pretty costly as well and would not change the outcome one bit. The other issue is the lack of coverage of certain insurance policies like Star. Nursing care seems decent, i think that's the only positive here. So just a heads up to people planning to go for any services here. You can definitely find a much better hospital where rational medicine is practised.

Starting from contacting the hospital for a doctor’s appointment, they’re are very good in responding and providing information and very well behaved staff (reception, nursing etc). They even call back and give you information if they’re not having the information at the moment regarding an appointment or reports etc. The doctors are very well experienced, kind and courteous. I also heard from some of the in patients who came there from far places, about the doctors’ expertise in curing challenging health problems which the patients had lost hope of getting treated. The hospital is very clean, they strictly follow safety standards during the COVID pandemic. I’m giving this review after getting treatment for one of my close relatives. The cost of treatment may be slightly high compared to some hospitals, but you can trust them for the service and the care they provide. Really very good hospital.

  • Roshan Sheriff

Worst hospital. I suggest you not to get treated here. The management and doctors have zero sympathy towards its patients. In my case which I had a fracture, the orthopadecian who's name is Dr Muthu refused to give me a time and clearly told me that he will put up a temporary plaster and said he won't want to follow up on my case. Only because I refused a surgery. I have almost had fractures in my life. Never needed a surgery, and completely belive that bones heal, but with time. Money matters to him i suppose. Hospitals are meant to heal people, not refuse. Dr Muthu. You need to be a better doctor. Not everyone listens. It's about how you put things across to your patients. Not show your attitude. Also this hospital will first ask you to pay for anything you want to get treated for. Will also put this up on Twitter adding the health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao. Grow up Mallige!

  • suhas m c

One of worst hospital. My mom was admitted for general checkup as the hemoglobin was low they insisted to get blood infusion of 2 units in 12 hours and advised to undergo colonoscopy and endoscopy on the same day. Which non of the doctor should have advised. This led to brain stroke for mom and she is suffering from the same from two months. She has undergone craniotomy in aster after negligence of doctors in mallige hospital - Mr. Ravindra TS. They hospital is useless doesn’t have MRI scanning in the premises and made us to third party scanning for ICU patient. Mr. Ravindra has miss lead us saying that my mom was having paresis not paralysis and they kept her in ICU for a whole day without taking any necessary action. They 4 hours of golden period was not utilized by these people.

Very happy with the expertise, service and support of the senior doctors like Dr. BPM and Dr. Purushottam. Also happy with the service of other doctors. Very good care and service from the nursing team. Would definitely recommend this hospital as I am extremely satisfied with the service/treatment provided by them. However, I am giving only 4 starts and not 5 bcos of the ordeal I had to go through on the discharge day. The insurance team at the hospital is not good, they definitely needs to improve a lot as compared to other hospitals. They are way too slow and also quite outdated and they need to have proper channel and someone please teach them SLA's (TAT). My suggestion to hospital would be only on improving the insurance team at hospital. Rest all is good.

  • Kshiti

People there are very harsh ,no proper treatment is given and in the ot when the surgery had taken place the material that they have used is the worst quality material due to which we have experienced lot of infection in the patients body They have used a pipe for a particular operation which was of a cheap quality and that pipe is the one which they had kept it for dumping as a waste Now they have used that pipe and operated it inside the body for dialysis purpose…… Serious action should be taken against those doctors who think that they can do as they wish Such cheapsters they are They take whole lot of money and do not give a good service there I suggest people not to go to that hospital

  • Mahesh Appu

Worst experience with Dr. Krupa Shankar ( Dermatologist) . My sister had consulted him for her skin condition 12 years back in Manipal Hospital . It was all good there. . She recovered 90 percent but now she visited him in Mallige Hospital He said same grafting procedure . She was ok to go with procedure but we were shocked by hearing their consultation which is 5000 rs and procedure charges separately. Which is Very expensive and Doctor wife said to my sister, don’t call to your relatives as they ll not agree for procedure . You come and get it done without informing anyone. They didn’t even give prescription. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone

  • Akshay Rao

Worst staff in OPD. Very unprofessional. They are not concerned about patient. I wanted to meet a doctor and it was urgent. They straight away said that the doctor is not available. But when my wife called up and said strongly that it's an emergency, then they casually say to come down by 10 am. Still no guarantee that we can get to see the doctor. More than anything, it's the 'Why should I care' attitude which is hurting. The people associated with medical care should be sensitive towards the patients who have placed their trust on the hospitals. But staff like this, the best doctor in the world would not be able to do any good.

  • Arun Nathan

My wife was admitted in Mallige Hospital for palliative chemotherapy as patients of Dr Pallavi K.R./ Dr Rudresh. The entire admission process starting from insurance pre-authorisation, admission and discharge was excellently and most efficiently handled. Although a small hospital no doubt compared to the larger hospital and so called super-speciality clinics the attention we received here was far better than what we found elsewhere. My wife who has been combatting her disease since 3 years in other hospitals and under consultation of other specialists was extremely happy with the doctors and staff here at Mallige Hospital.

  • Sridevi D

I admitted my child for dilation but as a mother i had a worst experience and so painful.first of all nurses don't have proper experience , no dedication,no coordination within the staff . In spite of my direct feedback to their management team . I am really not sure , it is considered to adhere to help other patients to avoid such issues to others. But the doctors are so good. Doctors are so fantastic but because of such in efficient /in trained staff 's at this hospital patients should suffer .Because of the staff it causes bad name to hospital. I request management this shouldn't happen to any other in future.

  • Chethan Hegde

Mallige provides quslity medical facilities at affordable price. Their doctors and medical staffs are highly professional, friendly and takes care of patients politely. Duty doctors as well as speculation consulting doctors visit the patients at regular intervals. Dietitian prescribes customized food for each patientz and their own staffs delivers them They provide hazelfree medical insurance claims facilities. They charge reasonable price for the treatment. They could improve the facilities to stay for the person who accompany a patient at general ward. Rest of the things are more than satisfactory.

  • RATHNAMMA

Mallow hospital is very good hospital. Doctors and staffs team is amazing. Previous when my mom admitted here that time everything is good . Yesterday my mother is calling the sister so many times no one is coming , staffs are not botherd about my mother . Shilpa sister is on duty simply I ask her name. But now staff are suffering from the nursing superintendent orders... i heard there . Nurses are heart of the hospital, so many staffs are left the hospital for this reason .old good staffs are left the hospital means care is also not good. Thank you .

  • Raj

Treatment here is best in Bangalore but At the receiptionist desk there is a lady who act like doctor by wearing stethescope but not behaving or talking like a doctor. After waiting for an hour, when we asked how long will it take to a receptionist, she shouted telling you want to get addmission or not. All receptionists are good except this lady wearing a doctor dress like a surgeon Her act and behaviour is very bad. Because of her I had very bad experience. If she is changed then it will be good. Because of her 2 stars else 5 on 5.

Taken appointment of Dr Darshan Krishnappa on 12th Feb 2022 at 4:30PM. I came by 4:20PM and waited till 5:39PM. Staff from ultra came and told to postponed the appointment. When staff is speaking to the Dr. Darshan, I heard that how many patient and staff replied one patient. Then Dr Darshan told to postponed the appointment. What is this unprofessional behaviour from Malige Hospital ' Madhav nagar ? Is this the way to treat the patients Very bad experience.... Totally wasted my time

My entire family is dependent on mallige m c, since decades. Have been admitted in the hospital for myself and my parents several times. Honestly, Good doctors and great care from all departments . Even the junior docs are pretty caring and helpful. Only tiny concern for me personally, was the behaviour of the nurses could be better. There's need for more staff nurses, as the present number are many, but still not sufficient. The taste and quality of the canteen food could be slightly better.

Would like to share a personal experience on visit to Mallige Hospital Crescent Road, Bangalore yesterday. Had gone for Covid vaccination expecting a tedious process & delay. Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful & courteous service starting from registration to vaccination and the observation. The staff are all so courteous and the service exemplary. The vaccine process was completed within an hour. Congratulation to all the staff/ nurses and the Hospital. Keep it up.

Emergency department, their night duty doctors and ward boys! Worst service ! They don't know how to behave or respond to patient attenders and still behave as if they are the owners of the hospital. Ward boys are so lazy to provide a wheel chair. Such careless department and are accredited by NABH ! Please avoid this hospital emergency dept. in case you are in an emergency !! Pathetic service and center heads don't even respond to the complaints !

  • Rabia Mathai

By Hospital standards, I find Mallige, spotlessly clean! It is no small achievement to have a cockroach free environment! Kudos to the Mallige team, an extremely friendly lot! Kumar of Physio therapy is excellent! He is the BEST- disciplined, strict, & never short changes the schedule! Mr Ibrahim the manager is also very good! Always has patient interests at heart, & always provides a patient hearing! Viva team Mallige! Hearty Congratulations!

Dropped in for my Covid test and dr consultation , was amazed with the service and professionalism. To my surprise had Rajshri at reception and she recognised me . Her attitude was very customer focussed , professional and responsive, is to down to training post feedback or was it one of those days on my previous visit ? Anyhow thank you for the service and high level of hygiene everyone at Mallige including the Dr Patel whom I consulted

  • RAVI KUMAR

Hema sister, provided exceptional care during my mother's Leela K.B health journey. Her dedication to her profession and compassion for her patients truly stood out. Hema's attentiveness and warm demeanor created a comforting atmosphere that made me feel secure and well-cared for throughout my stay. She consistently went above and beyond, ensuring that my mom received the best possible treatment and support. Thank you Hema sister.

  • sarada mysore

Premises and halls are clean and tidy . There are not enough sign boards to guide a first time visitor to various wings . The staff ofcourse are helpful in guiding , but sign boards could help . The non-medical support personnel could be more considerate and not chit-chat in loud voices or call out to each other across the halls . The ward facilities are very good . But billing , at discharge time , takes very long .

  • S.P. Nagendra Prasad

My wife was admitted to Mallige hospital due to severe COVID-19 symptoms, I must say that the doctors , nurses , support staff were really friendly. They provided us with regular updates about the treatment and the condition of the patient. They also took timely care of the patient and were helpful to her . My special thanks to Dr. Khan and team for their support and amazing service towards the society . Thank you

Had a health check up at this hospital; although it seems like a small facility, but is very efficiently run; is very neatly and hygienically maintained as well. Would especially like to mention Ms. Yashoda, who helped me very diligently and efficiently across so many tests and consultations. She was quite professional and informed in the way she helped me through the day. Really a very good experience.

  • Shami Kumbera

I was admitted for Covid and i must say i got the best of the treatment anybody could ever imagine. Best hospital in bangalore. Very good Highly experienced team of doctors and nurses. specifically Dr M Ataullah khan, is one of best highly qualified and well experienced Pulmonolgist. Excellent Diagnosis and advanced treatment. Few other best doctors in Mallige are Dr Dheeraj, Dr Krishna Reddy, Dr Suraj, Dr Purshotham. Nursing staff and front office staff are very good .

  • Vijaya Nalini

In terms of hygiene, Mallige hospital exceeds among many hospitals in Bangalore… Very good team of Doctors. Scope for improvement: : People crowd like a ‘Market’ in front of ICU which needs to be really addressed. They should also restrict No of visitors to wards… as of now ‘no silence zones’ in hospital… All floors very noisy. Washrooms need to be maintained well.

  • Deb R

Had been recently for consultation with Dr. Ramesh Jois. All the OPD staff were very courteous. Proper seating arrangement was there with decent COVID compliant distancing. Thought the hospital is a bit old, they are making sure to keep up their reputation. One coordinator Mr. Hussein was very polite & had the patience to listen to every patient's personal needs.

Never go Dr Madhuri gynecologist , she gets unnecessary biopsy done with lot of pain and without any anesthesia. The general physician told everything was ok , since I had comprehensive health check up, they charged me another 8500 rupees for no reason and my husband been a do tor said there was no need to do the biopsy. Please be careful.

  • Andy JM

I cannot fault this hospital. As a foreign tourist it is a daunting experience visiting a hospital abroad. The staff are fantastic. I had to have staples removed after having surgery in a different state. The head doctor was extremely professional and had amazing people skills, especially when dealing with a very nervous patient like me!

  • Tejas U

Very bad experience with this hospital , one of the worst hospitality staff, very bad services interms of the dialysis , How can some so called professionals be the most careless nd least bothered about their patients . Worst experience with one of the dialysis staff , who comments savagely to the pain experiencing by the patient.

  • Eby Oommen

One of the affordable hospital in Bengaluru with all facilities. Senior doctors are excellent in giving motivation and treating the patient as per their comfort level. Nephrology section is too good. Dr Satish, Dr Sreedhar and their team is excellent. Even Dr. Purushottam is also excellent in treating the patients. Thank you

My wife and me had wonderful experiences at Mallige Hospital this morning when we got our COVID vaccination. The entire staff are super efficient and courteous to everyone who had visited this place. The manager Mr. Rangaswamy is doing a wonderful job in organising this.I think it’s one of the best hospitals in Bangalore.

  • Guruprasad K

My visit was limited to opd. Hospitality of this hospital was good during my visit. Separate opd section, approach and seating was comfortable. Pharmacy has to improve service. Staff were courteous. Maintenance appreciated. New patients have to register first and this can be made online avoiding queues and extra time.

  • Shivani Rathi

I had a pleasant experience at Mallige Hospital. I Consulted Dr. B M Suraj there and I must appreciate his patience the way he has heard all of my issues. Visited twice for vaccinations. Both the times, I found every staff member was very cordial, helpful and very professional. Even in the vaccination room, they were smiling and trying to cheer us up, inspite of their busy and tiring work. I never felt I was in a hospital. Great job. Thank you all

  • ROHIT KUMAR CHOUDHARY

Doctors and staffs are really supportive and good but the watchman at the main door is really worst he does not know how to talk to the patient and the people who comes to hospital I request management to look at it orwards it would effect the name of the hospital and the management.

  • Veere Gowda GN

The treatment was very good. All the staff were doing great job. Attending of sink , toilet and bathroom fitting to be done in time by doing regular checkups especially in the covid ward. The doctors and other staff were humane and doing good work. Their work is commendable.
