Plan ACCORDINGLY for time. Beautiful space and the studios are gorgeous. The front desk was late to work in the morning so I was stuck outside and the photographer couldn’t come get me because she’s on a high level and to use the elevator…. You need someone from the front desk!! LOL Not only do you need the front desk person to utilize the elevator, you have to call for them on the box, they reply they’re on their way, but we waited about 30 minutes for them to actually come. Also we pressed the call button twice and they screamed at us “I SAID WERE COMING” I was super late leaving for my next job and they really didn’t care. Really unprofessional.

We came to see the gallery and everything went wrong. Their address in google maps is wrong and this place doesn't have enough signs to let you know where is the gate. We eventually found the gate by trial and error after wondering around for a long time. We somehow got the gate and there was a sign that asking us to ring the bell. We rang the bell and waited 5 mins..nothing happened. Someone has left the building and we got inside. The bad thing is there was someone to secure the building the whole time and didn't notice us while we're waiting outside. Avoid if you can...

Rude staff. Different space prices for different people. No real elevator. You need to use the freight elevators which can only be operated by the staff. Staff seem to hate their job, they will make sure you understand that they won't be happy about helping you in future. Storage access is only on weekdays till 5pm!

What an incredibly beautiful building and inspiring space. I found myself salivating over the work lofts and the open space where 2nd Floor Rear hosted its Winter Performance festival. My good friend and artist Nancy VanKanegan built a gorgeous mandala from random objects and the space really complemented her work.

A great storage facility for billionaires. Also, some pretty cool artist studios and occasional special events. I've been here probably a dozen times since it opened. It is not the most welcoming space.

Great space for art-themed events and more. Easy, free parking (where else can you get that?!) that makes the drive over no big deal. If given the opportunity to visit here...go!

Very nice hidden jewel of the art world in Chicago. If you find yourself in Pilson head over to the mana contemporary building and check out their open gallery on the 5th floor.

This place is a wonderful place to create gather and network with new emerging artists that are making waves in this local industry

Had an awesome experience hosting a show here. They allowed me to rent space out for 3 months and were very accommodating
