Items are out of place, so it's hard or impossible to know the prices. I finally identified the item with the bar code, but when I asked for a price check the price was almost 50% more. So, instead of buying 2 packs, I only bought one. The second time I arrived at the checkout, I saw the posting that said credit card purchases has a $10 minimum. I had to scramble for cash in my pocket. This market does sell thicker "longevity" incense and 7 color clothing paper both of which are hard to find outside of Chinatown. I ended up buying most of the items at Ranch 99 after being frsustrated by not knowing what the prices are for the religious offerings. Also, my vehicle isn't that low, but it was the first time that the bottom was scratched in the parking lot. I did not find the cashier rude, but she didn't really know what to respond when I told her that the items are out of place. Also, I did not see any fresh lychees or longans, or lotus roots when they are all in season at this time. Prices are not competive except for the jasmine rice.

This place has very good prices on meats, and produce, but it can be hit or miss on the quality. However I lowered this place by 1 star for how it is so cold that I need to bring my winter jacket to go in. The other star down is for cleanliness, which is very questionable at best. The floors do not look clean or well kept, some expired food isn't promptly removed, and there are pigeons freely roaming the store, nesting on some of the box on the top shelves. Great for saving money on food or ingredients, just be wary of what you buy, and triple wash everything you get.

I think the store is generally well-stocked and somewhat clean, if a little run down and cramped. The biggest issue I have had was with being turned away at the door because I had a backpack. Any store in an urban area like SF allows backpacks, unless they have a problem with theft. If that's the case it doesn't help that you turn away regular, paying customers. I would suggest that the store find some other solution and that if you choose to shop here beware of this policy as well as the difficulty in maintaining a safe distance due to the cramped aisles.

Very accessible, just above RT 280, location on Mission St, with all public transportation, #49, #14 Bus. Abandoned parking.Typical supermarket layout, plus huge aquariums with the live fish of different kind, ready to go with you in form of fillet, stakes or just denuded for a grill. Enormous choice of live shellfish, frozen products from abroad, mostly Pacific. Great variety of Greens and Fruits. Place for regular stocking or occasional adventure with food.

Fresh food and variety dried products with knowledge cashiers. Worry of the COVIC-19,all of your backpacks or customer's bulky item must be left outdoor and watched by the market's keepers for the safety & secure virus free. They're super nice on helping you to pack your things up specially with disable or seniors with all their heart can give during on the pandemic period. Thanks to some nice itemizing keeper out door guys. GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!

Very reasonably priced Asian supermarket — perfect for any and all Chinese and Filipino cooking needs. Southeast Asian (but lesser extent Thai) and Latino groceries available. Produce — while fresh — sometime require some digging to avoid the over-ripe items. Exotic vegetables, fruits and herbs. Wide selection of fresh fish kept on ice make for a visual treat. Well-stocked butcher. Asian snacks, condiments and sauces abound.

This place is a pretty good general grocery store that also has an excellent selection of Asian foods from all over the world, huge produce section (not organic), huge fish counter. They also sell beer, some wine, and rice wines (no liquor). My go to place for ramen, ingredients for Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Thai dishes. Not the most comprehensive in each category, but enough that you can usually find what you need.

Unparalleled produce and pantry/sauces/pickled/canned good variety from all over the world. It can be overwhelming, so make a list and give yourself some time to get lost. If you like fresh seafood variety, this is your place. Every kind of frozen wonton/gyoza/potstickers? Check. Customer parking lot can get a little busy, so I back in if I can, to allow for easier exit.

I feel like this is a well keep secret. But it's too busy for that to really be true. Just don't buy up all the oysters it I'll regret letting the cat out of the bag about this gem. It's a good sized import market that's easy to shop at and the selection is good. I think they know what they've got because the beer is priced about the same as the regular grocery

Good selection of Asian food but what is with the awful speakers? I don't mind the old school Asian music, but every time I come, the speakers are crackling and they continue to turn the volume up so loud like it's Coachella. Except we listening to static and crackling. Either replace the speakers, turn down the volume way down or just leave it off.

Buyer beware: The fish monger suggested I buy the Carp. I was hoping for delicious dinner but ended up with an awfully smelly kitchen and inedible fish. I'm almost certain it was the Carp I smelled throughout the store. So especially disappointing that he suggest I buy a third piece.... It seems like elderly people don't deserve respect anymore.

I always find something new here. Love it! Great place for chicken or beef bones for making broth. Found imported Portuguese sardines here the other day! Lots of neat snacks you can't find anywhere else. Sometimes it's a little dirty. Sometimes the parking lot is hella crowded, but I prefer it hear than either Safeway on Mission street.

Large selection with average prices for a variety of Asian grocery essentials. However, the entire experience was off-putting, from the seemingly arbitrary policy to check large bags to prevent stealing, to the extremely dim lights, to the tight parking. Would not recommend going. 99 Ranch and H-Mart are both nearby and far better.

  • Pascal Angenent

I like having acces to fresh and hard to get Chinese and other asian groceries. The overhead music is excruciating though. Not a minor annoyance but a true trying to rush out of the store grating loud distorted assault on the senses. Update, They stopped the god awful music. Much improved shopping experience.

Selection of products from a variety of Eastern countries is exceptional. There is a butcher counter with cuts of beef, pork, poultry that not found in ordinary butcher shops. There is also fresh as well frozen seafood. Produce both fruits & vegetables for many types of eastern cuisine is also available.

You want Asian products? Great selection. You want inexpensive produce? Great place. But you want fresh seafood? I don’t think so. quality produce? I don’t think so either. The place could also be a little cleaner. Convenient parking. I don’t know why the name is different in Chinese and in English.

Prices were terrible. I couldn't find any good prices whatsoever. And the whole store, I hate to say it, smells like a toilet. It got on my clothes and I could still smell it hours later. Also the whole vibe of the store and neighborhood is menacing. Go to HMart or Koreana Plaza in Oakland instead.

  • Howard Petrick

A great market for all Asian foods. Live fish, that you can pick your own, and have prepared while you shop. Several types of fresh shrimp, live eels, frogs. Good meat counter. Individual Isles for Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Filipino, and Mexican foods. Large selection of produce with great prices.

  • Raymond Carbonneau Robles

A standard Asian market: Pros - specialty ingredients Cons - Very sad merchandising Missing price tags and labels Generally poor quality seafood and vegetables Abundance of processed, additive-laden, artificial, dubiously sourced foods

  • Nohemi Gomez

Good quality products. Their seafood dept is impeccable with fair prices. They have fresh made noodles in the back, imported ramens as well as dried unseasoned noodles. Their produce is always fresh and ripe with awesome prices.

  • Beloved Becca (B)

Theis spot is more cleaner, organized and smells better than other places I've visit. Vegetables are always in good condition, alive seafood are good, many selections to choose from. I definitely like it here better.

  • Charles Libicki

It's a supermarket -sized store with a dizzying variety of Asian fruits, vegetables and food products. I picked up, among other things, really quality Manila mangoes, Hawaiian papayas and OU kosher wonton skins.

  • Ed Rose

They have so much stuff packed in here! Needed store for the Excelsior neighborhood, they have had some issues stinking up the neighborhood, but I think it's been resolved. It was a big grocery store years ago.

  • Tuffy Taufaasau

I shop here once a month being single their meats is perfect for me & cheap.Their seafood is cheap & fresh & great variety of vegatables. It's products to cater to all Asian cultures & american foods.

  • Pacita Fernandez

Said store is selling expired kopico coffee on shelves. I bought one. Cashier is not checking items sold if expired or not. Careless staff. Be careful of what you are buying.
