Our experience today, 11 Sept. 2018 absolutely concur with Shanika's comment and her review 5 days ago. Horrible, rude & greedy operator! * Loaded 3 Ikea single seater cushion covers & 2 pillow cases in 30lb machine (C$4.50), we estimate under 10 lbs dry weight. * floor manager, Maribel, came over and ask us to put into 40lb machine (C$5.50), citing she disallow us to use 30 lb machine since it's going to be too heavy when wet. We obeyed! Despite knowing it's an over kill. * my husband, not convince its above 30lbs approach Maribel to weight the load when machine stops so that we make an objective assessment in future. Maribel flatly refused, then told us to leave premise & to go to another laundry. How rude!! A heated exchange followed. Maribel, threaten us, she then actually called the police. The police had no time for this, did not come eventually. * To convince we were ill advised, therefore , over charged, we brought a weighing scale from home. Actually weight the wet load. Guess what, it came to 16 lbs. See pic attached. We invited Maribel to see, to learn NOT to over estimate and ask customers to use big machines unnecessarily, she avoided us!! * The proof is in the pictures attached. * Before leaving, my husband told Maribel we should not have to spend C$5.50 but C$4.50 is enough!! Maribel had the cheek to say GOOD!! Wow, all of a sudden I realise what the motivation is to push us to use the 40 lb machine - all in the name of more money, more profit for Mark's! OMG! Such GREED !! * Don't get fooled by Maribel, beware of the the crocodile in that smiley face !! * Maribel claims she is the owner, if so, the consumer association of Canada should investigate such " vultures". Updated review (originally 5 star): I wish I could give 5 stars for the weekday staff, and 1 star for weekend... I've never been here on a weekend til today, but apparently the staff isn't allowed to help customers if machines eat their coins and won't dry? If that is the rules, then fine, I don't blame the staff. But I've never had an issue with machines giving me problems during the weekdays where the staff couldn't help me with retrieving my change. Why is there staff on the weekend if they're not allowed to help? ----- Old review, refers to weekdays: Best machines in the city. They are a bit pricey, but you are paying for high quality machinery and on-the-spot assistance if something goes wrong. I have a busy messy family of 4 with 2 small kids, and with work and homemaking etc its hard to do constant laundry in small loads in my building. But I can get an entire family's load worth done in their huge machines in the same time it takes a regular size machine. Love this place. Ill never use my building's mat ever again. The facility is kept super clean. It is shocking to me the negative reviews, because the laundry attendant in the mornings is such a pleasure to chat with. Though I have personally witnessed altercations by rude customers often while there, I've never seen the attendant go overboard with discussing issues with problem customers. She keeps her cool and is just trying to make sure her thousand + dollar machines dont get uselessly damaged due to overstuffing. Apparently that happens a lot. Don't overencumber your machine and then complain when your clothes are not fully washed or dried.

I own a detailing company called Elixir Auto Detailing, the company does about 20-30 vehicles per week I no longer have time to wash 3 or more loads of microfiber towels weekly and fold them as well. The best option was to use a laundromat. I did a Google search and they had the cleanest and newest machines I could find. I went in to talk to the owner and she was great! I told her exactly how I wanted my towels to be washed. I explained that these are microfiber towels, and they can be washed in hot water, but they need to be dried on low heat. I gave her a gallon of Rags to Riches and told her what amount of detergent to use. I even requested to have them folded into Eights and have the high nap side on the inside. If I drop them off at 8 am I could pick them up the same day at 12pm! Today I dropped them off at 11am and picked they were ready at 4pm. I usually give them a load of 500 or more towels. They charge according to weight and my loads usually weigh about 60 lbs. On average it cost 80 dollars to use their services once a week. I get the towels back perfectly folded and in a bag ready to go. I've used their service 3x and each time it was better and better, they fold and sort them according to towels and organize them neatly into clear plastic bags or your own reusable bags if you have ones. I saw a significant difference in the cleanliness of the towels compared to the ones I've done myself. If you are deciding on a laundromat this is the one you should pick.

As we wait for our new washer to be delivered, I made the mistake to accept my wife's invitation to come here. Even though I didn't want to be here, I found Mark's store to be clean, neat and tidy. The woman that was attending the store was diligent of keeping the floors dry and lining up the laundry carts for customer use. I don't know if the pricing is in line with other local laundromats, but there is a value in having reliable machines available to efficiently clean a large amount of clothing and towels. I'd recommend this place for washing your clothes. ***** I changed my 5 Star rating to 2 stars because after spending almost $60 here, one of the dryers wasn't drying after spending $1.50. We reported it once and were told it's working fine. We reported it again to the attendant and she finally acknowledged it wasn't working and only put in $0.75 into another machine while giving my wife attitude. I mean really. She totally nickel and dimed my wife after spending all this money here. Good help is hard to find. It's so disappointing to me.

this is the worst. Experience of customer service I have ever received at a laundry mat. I had come in with my 2 year old and was told to leave because Maribel had first said that my 6lbs duvet was too heavy for a $2.75 machine and wanted me to pay $4.50 to wash my duvet. At first she had mentioned that she would prefer and recommend that I use the more expensive machine, then when I said to her that i know my duvet is light it is duck down feather and only weighs 6lbs and the machine above has a sign directly above my machine that states it is a double loader. not to exceed 18 lbs...even when my duvet is wet it weighs about 10 lbs at the most. I felt disrespected she actually told me to leave the store. Maribel was rude to my son.She had then said because he had touched the machine that is another reason why I must leave because if safety. she had directly raised her voice and yelled out and said to my child "leave go to your mom!" and shooed him out the door. this is completely unacceptable.

Horrible experience, the lady was very rude. It was my first time trying a coin laundry, I mentioned that to her and I asked her the information on how to use the machines to which she responded as if I was stupid. She got annoyed with me and kept following me everywhere and then told me and my brother to leave and go somewhere else cause we wanted to use 30lb machine. I just wanted to get my comforters washed so we were trying to use 2 30lb washer machines. She said you can’t use this and I should go somewhere else. We didn’t even get a chance to try. Another person using the laundry there told me to try the coin laundry at Dundas Dixie area cause with his experience at this place, there was not enough water in the machines. His clothes were not washed properly. But who knows if it was his fault or the the laundry machines. I personally had a very bad experience here. To be treated like that is not worth it for me to try it again.

Such rare and amazing service I just come here to wash comforters, rugs, things that will throw my washer off balance, but it's such a nice laundromat, I'd do all my laundry here if it made any sense economically! The washers never smell bad like at other laundromats, and the washers are FAST. Also, I never thought much about staff at at laundromat, but a couple of the folks here will go out of their way to help in little ways, which just makes it a pleasant experience. Such rare and amazing service! There are people taking pride in this business.

Had a problem with the dryer. We notified the staff and asked for our money back. She gave us way less than what we put in the machine because she has to follow the current time and not include the down time. She was there when we started and knew the the machine was broken. It was unfair. She also made us feel it was our fault the machine was broken. I gave 1 star for the staff for not being proffesional.

The man is super friendly and helpful. As for the establishment.. This is by far the cleanest laundromat I have ever been to. The place is immaculate! The washers are well cleaned and maintained. There are a large amount of machines and til now I have not had to wait for one to be available. I am a total germ freak, and hate laundromats but I am completely comfortable coming here to do my laundry.

Love this place, clean, well kept and taking care of. I've done laundry on my own there and also use the wash and fold services and my laundry is always clean and folded neatly and done quickly. Not sure how they range in price to other businesses that offer the same... But I've been going to this location now thru two different owners and happy with both.

The laundry is super clean. The washer and dryers are new and again super clean. They maintain the palce perfectly. I've been here many times and I've never seen this place dirty. They keep cleaning it. The people who work there are so kind. Tony is a really nice guy and helpful.I really recommend this place if you want to wash your clothes.

Can't just use a dryer. MUST use their washing services & then dry. I offered to pay for wash even though I'm not washing ... Don't waste your time coming here just to use the dryer. Not a good business model ... if you ask me. In response to the owner's comment: Please elaborate on the safety and health concerns. Thank you.

I’ve had a great experience here and the service is quick and exceptional. Very reasonably priced and high quality washing. Laundry cleaners are very fast and dryers don’t mess up your clothes like other laundry places. Most importantly, I can wash my rugs, blankets and other heavy loads without any worry.

I don't like the place anymore, I think new owner now? All guys operating the place, don't feel comfortable using the washroom anymore. Went there a week ago, and the guy said he can't let me in because nobody's using the laundry and they don't operate when it is snowing

Absolutely the most disrespectful owner and operator of a business. I've used the facility for many years and was treated and spoken to with such disrespect, my sister, daughter, few friends and others will never go back to this laundromat again because of her! So rude!

This Coin Laundry Just Re-opened with all new Maytag Equipment in 2013. 40lb, 60lb and 80 lb washers! They are open until 11pm, although last wash is at 9:30pm. But you won't be waiting for a washer or dryer, There are over 50 washers and 50 dryers there.

Very disappointed! I gave my trench coat for dry cleaning, they told me the price will be 25$ and not more, if not they will call me and ask me before doing it, they didn’t call and when i went to pickup they gave me price of 44$! Wouldn’t go back here!

Very lovely facility, extremely clean, friendly and helpful staff, this is one of the best laundromats I have ever seen, my go to spot when I have excessive laundry to do, l love that they open early, up to date washers and dryers.

The floor are clean some of the washers and dryers smells but other than that good for me only go here because my washer and dryer can't hold the heavy load of my big comforter set

One of the better laundromats in the area. They have mega washers which are a lifesaver. Only downfall is the hours of operations. Wish they were open until 10pm.

It's definitely better than the other laundromats in the area. However, a lot of dryers seem to be broken, and have been so for some time.

Clean, a variety of size loads, and well maintained modern machines. The hours are reasonable though would be my 5-star if opened later.
