Honesty at it's finest! A Ford dealer performed an oil change on my brand new car and and the next day I noticed oil leaking on the ground. Since my Ford dealer was out of reach, I called Master Mechanics who is very close to my work. Even though they were closing in minutes, they agreed to bring my car in. Turns out the oil filter wasn't secured by my Ford dealer. Master Mechanic caught it right away and corrected it. They even proactively checked the engine bay for any additional leaks. At no point did they try to upsell me for any unnecessary additional work and they were straight to the point. These guys are extremely honest and their quality of work is outstanding. It was a great experience and I will be returning again for sure!

The lead mechanic was accommodating but I don't think I got a fair assessment when I took in a car for safety. I was told to get all this unnecessary fix to pass the safety. Also an oil pan that he said i have a leak and needed a new gasket when it was perfectly fine. After 120 bucks Bill, I took out the car and got it towed to another mechanic which is more helpful and honest. There was never an oil leaked somehow someone loosen something to make it seem like there is a leak. If you feel like your getting an honest service here go ahead but for me as first timer since it was close to work- Never again. There are better family owned mechanic out there. Stay away from corporate ones.

Chris and his team at Master Mechanic have been life-savers for me. I am a young, first-time car owner who, admittedly, barely knows anything about cars. Car was running rough and was told I need coil pack and plugs. 600 dollars. Ok. It was ok for a few months. Then started to run rough again after a few months. Went to another garage and was told master mechanic only replaces one coil because they could tell by the difference in looks. 600 for one coil and plugs grrrrr. Then I went again there and was told I need catalytic converter and I got it replaced at another shop and it did nothing. 1100 later grrrr. Finally Midas fixed my car just by replacing one coil that I thought was done initially by master mechanic. And the guy at the desk. So rude. I will never ever walk in that place again. Bunch of scammers.

I visited Chris & his team for an oil change for the first time yesterday. I was really impressed with the level of Customer Service I received from start to finish. Chris took me to see my car on the hoist and explained some wear & tear (inevitable with a 2012 Mazda 3) and what I should be looking out for and prioritizing in terms of repairs. As someone who doesn't know a lot about cars and doesn't have unlimited cashflow for said repairs, I appreciated the education and honesty from Chris' team. They didn't pressure me at all and provided a realistic timeline and cost-estimate of what I was looking at. Thanks so much for your help!

I would recommend this Master Mechanic location on Appleby Line in Burlington. They are very knowledgeable, provide very good customer service and are trustworthy.They have serviced our vehicles over the last few years. They have even made recommendations to take the vehicles back to the dealer because the issues were potentially serious. In one case, the dealer replaced the engine at no charge even though it was out of warranty. In the other case, the dealer repaired an oil leak under the Powertrain warranty. We appreciate all that Chris and his team has done for us. Keep doing your great work.

Brought my truck there for repair estimate , took 2 weeks and charged,$1700.00 to tel me needed engine!! I would of never spent $1700.00 for estimate ever !!!! Truck is not worth repairing!! Now he wants $1700.00 for a $3000.00 truck. Wont compromise on bill. Kept truck and wants ownership. Wont let me take my tools out of truck either. Iam a small business owner and need at least my tools to keep working!! All about the money!!! Funny how you only see good reports! Tried talk to Chris 4 times,absolutely no help or compromise. Chris and his entire team are all absolutely incredible! I do not know cars very well, and have been gouged in the past. Chris is incredible at letting me know when I can wait on work, and when something must be fixed. Originally I had just taken in my car few years ago, when the dealership (that I bought my car from) could not figure out a problem. Within a few minutes of looking into it, they knew the answer, and how to fix. I trust every single one of them that work in this shop, and would strongly recommend (and so, on a regular basis!)

Service was courteous and prompt and they billed me for exactly what they said they would, but my fiance had to fix my car again after they replaced the control arm and front strut--they used the wrong kind of nut to hold everything together and it all came loose a few weeks later and started rattling around. We bought the right nut from a Mazda dealership for $3. The mechanic also sprayed so much grease everywhere its like he had a grease explosion, grease was leaking out on my rims for months. I was unimpressed.

Coming from someone who was always getting up sold on things I apparently didn't even need at other mechanics (still baffles me this is common in the industry), Chris and the guys at Master Mechanic are honest and reliable! During my oil changes they do a thorough check of my car and documents everything for them and I to have on record. I've been bringing my car to him and only him for any and all services for about 2 years now and I don't see myself changing that routine anytime soon.

My radiator blew, and when the car overheated, the engine also blew. Chris and crew took the time to completely diagnose the problem, and explain all of my options to me. The car needed a new radiator, and a new engine. Now, the car arguably has a better engine. Mine had 560,000km. The "new" engine had 195,000km. I was hoping to get another 1 to 2 years. I have been running the new engine for a couple weeks. It has been running so well that I think I may actually get another 5 years.

I am extremely happy every single time with the service at this location and with Chris and his entire team! We had an accident and got towed to a Canadian tire location and got some terrible advice and quotes for work. We got there towed the car to Master Mechanic. When they looked at it, we got a fair estimate of work required. What he would do in our shoes. And he didn't try to oversell us. I trust this shop with our family's cars and no one else now. I would strongly recommend!

Technically I haven't have any service done yet at MM so I can't judge based on workmanship. I had an old mechanic (a friend of the family) I trusted for 2 centuries until he closed shop. Skeptical, I came across MM and called them with an issue with my vehicle. They seemed very knowledgable and helpful. I don't think I have ever experienced a shop do personable and eager to help me with my problem, without feeling pressured. I think I have found a new home at Master Mechanic East.

Outstanding service especially during these challenging times. I called to explain to Chris the issue that I had a slow leak in my drivers side rear tire. The tire pressure indicator was constantly coming on and I couldn’t seem to keep air in the tire. They could have easily said the tire was unfixable but instead they repaired and only charged labor! He also offered his opinion for other services and was upfront and very honest. I think I found my go to shop!!

Spoke to Manager Chris, and he seemed to know what the problem was. Pulled my A/C apart and showed me problem, ordered parts and repaired next day. Also my trunk latch was not working, again ordered parts and repaired. Both instances, MUCH cheaper than dealership, and workmanship was great. Would recommend this shop to anyone needing a quote or just a question on car related problems.

Honest and reliable, I went in with a car that was misfiring. I was quoted $900 to fix the problem (spark plugs and coils) at another brand company. Took it to Chris, he found the problem and fixed it for less than $200. He reminded me of the old school mechanics who were honest and fair. Good mechanics are hard to find and I am thrilled I finally have someone I can trust with my car!

The owner? had their phone rerouted to their phone and despite being on vacation took a little bit of time to listen to our car trouble and confirm that many mechanics shops won't be open until January.
