This station is very close to my house so they had the market cornered on convenience. Easy to stop for gas in the mornings... last Saturday I stopped for $20 worth of gas, ran my card at the pump like always. Sunday I went to buy groceries and got to the register in order to find out that I didn't have enough money on my Wells Fargo debit card...I looked at my account and there was a $100 chare in addition to the $20 charge from Maverick. I spoke to the manager at Maverick who informed me they had changed to a new system for credit processing. Ok...reasonably the money should come back in a day or so. .. nope. It's now Wednesday afternoon and nothing. I've spoken to their customer service, my bank and a manager. No help at all other than my bank's suggestion to report it as fraud and close my account...reset all of my online bill pay, change my card number with every other bill I pay. ..needless to say, this is the least convenient place to get gas now. Yes, the charge is from maverick...not a stolen card number charge. Yes, the $20 charge cleared by Monday morning. I don't know about you all. ..but I can't afford to be missing $100 for a week. That was grocery money. Don't worry maverick...I'll just eat ramen all week so you can be secure in knowing you got your $20. I hope the security is worth knowing that I'll never buy gas at a maverick again after this experience with the helpless lot of customer service personnel you employ. I work too hard to not be able to buy real groceries. See ya.

This general rule I'm quite a big fan of Maverick I'm an adventurer club member and a nitro member I probably stopped there five times a week sometimes more this specific location definitely not one of my favorites thus the three stars at this particular location during the swing shift at about 1:00 a.m. I was just coming back into town from a trip to Montana decided to stop in to get gasoline cigarettes and a nice cup of coffee and I've got to say the clerk was very disagreeable I don't know if he thought I was a shoplifter or if he thought maybe I was going to rob the place because of my mask maybe he has been under a rock for the last 9 months and didn't realize that we're all dressed in such a tire nowadays but very rarely have I ever been treated poorer in my 36 years on this planet I still give it three stars though because even though the clerk was very rude and unprofessional the products sold by Maverick were still up to par

Mavericks are great. These days it's difficult to find a restroom and initially that's why I go but I almost always fuel up and or grab something... I miss the condiment bar though I see the reason. I used to enjoy the hot dogs more there these buns now... Not good at all. Hot dogs are great quality but the buns... Yellow bread what the heck is that. Overall the staff at the redwood Maverick is great... It's a weird location. I get homelessness is a major problem there seems to be a large amount of panhandlers at this location but I still go there because they have clean restrooms nice employees and good products except for that before mentioned hot dog buns which I hate I'll just get a hot dog somewhere else I love Maverick though

Now my 3 star review isn't based on the employees, cleanliness of the bathrooms or quality of the hot dogs. I got a regular Mountain Dew from the fountain, like I do most every day from different Maveriks. Usually I just hit up whatever it closest, today was this Maveriks day to shine. I got my foam cup started the purge of the fountain since there are 4 dchoices per nozzle. Well my precious Dew got contaminated by Code Red. Everyone with a decent set of parents and their head on straight knows Code Red is garbage. So now here I am sitting in my car drinking this unwanted cocktail of Dew when I wanted just a Dew on the rocks. Get your fountain serviced and I'll be happy to up my review. Love you Mav, but I love my Dew more.

Always have the best employees in town always helpful and friendly no matter how busy they are at the time I have never walked inside this Maverick and seen any employees standing or doing nothing thet are always making sure the shelves are stalked and keep the outside and inside very very clean and sanitary it's the ONLY gas station not just Maverick stores but out of all the gas or convenience stores in salt lake county that's always clean friendly and have all the things you need no matter how much variety of different items they have them in stock and if not out they are happy to check for anything in the back. Best store around love this place

My boyfriend went in when he got off of work goes to use the bathroom comes out then the manager comes up to him accused him of stealing and that she caught him on camera tells him to empty his pockets which he does he only has gloves and a few random things from work she sees he has nothing in his pockets he “stole” says she’s gonna go review them again if you caught him on camera why do you have to look again?? and then proceeds to go back and give him nasty looks the rest of the time and avoid him. I would avoid this place especially that lady manager she was rude and unprofessional.

I came in to get a refill, I had two refills, got a new cup, and water. When I went to cashier to pay he asked me how many were refills I said "2 refills, a new one, and water." Then he argued with me and was very rude. I told him I didn't care either way honestly. He treated me very badly for absolutely no reason. It makes me not want to come back to this location or any location for that matter this is how employees treat customers. I work in customer service and I'd never treat a customer the way I was treated.

I live down the street so we go here often. There is a problem EVERY time we go here. The pumps hardly work correctly and bug out all the time. There's always someone that comes over to the car and either begs for money or something from inside the store. Employees are rude and unhelpful. Nothing is ever in stock or clean. We avoid this Maverick now. There's always busses that stop right on the curb and block view so sometimes it's really difficult to pull out of beside he parking lot.

By far the worst customer service ever. I have been cussed at and had my change thrown in my face. Asked for the corporate number and was given the stores number. They only have one cash register open even thought there are 20 people in line. And I just saw the power washing the parking lot at 5 pm Wich means they had to block off half the parking lot during the busiest time of the day.DO NO SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONY HERE.

I love the little nugget ice this Maverik has! Not every Maverik has it. I wish they would restock the Stuffed Pretzels more frequently though.And the Asian lady in the bakery department is not very nice or helpful. She's rude and cranky. The guy that works nights is really nice and the main guy in the day time is . I hate how you have to put in the code for gas though

I went in to change a $10 bill to five dollar bill and this clerk name Heather she was verifying if it was for real with the marker for reals. I’ve been stopping here for a long time I didn’t have no problem until today that is called races . She was a white woman and I am a Mexican woman. Yeah, not right. She said she was checking a $10 bill if it was fake

Workers were staring weirdly at us (made us feel ✨uncomfy✨) and seemed devoid of all life energy. We said "thank you," and the girl responded by staring at us blankly. It was a pretty poor experience overall. And after reading the other reviews, it sounds like they really need to replace the night crew, which is who we dealt with.

I have got to say that Maverick is by far and large my favorite gas station. I am on the rewards program (which is free) which means that I get two cents off on every gallon of gas that I purchase and when I spend $500 dollars on gas I get a $5 free gift card for Maverick, so it's a pretty sweet system. Their food is also tasty.

I spend over $1,000.00 a month at this very location and they would not honor the warranty on the Pugs sunglasses that I bought there because I didn't have a receipt. These people see me every morning noon and night 7 days a week they know darn well I bought the glasses there but refuse to honor the warranty

I stopl at the store almost every day on my way to twork and still the staff well not anymore I needed help from any staff member cuz I had dropped my card in the garbage can I needed help to get the they all just stood around and stared at me the customer service here is horrible.. the little girls up front

I always trust Maverick to have the fuel and food I want. Locations are typically convenient. Gas prices are usually competitive. The food in the C-Store is a cut above the competition. The rewards program is definitely an incentive. Don't care for the entrance off or Redwood, but egress isn't too bad.

Nice place to stop by for quick food thats actually Good Fresh and made bu real people during the day. Coffee is always fresh and hot. Bathrooms could use a good cleaning and people do ask for change outside. But over all the services are nice and so are the cashiers that work there.

I really needed a beverage on a hot summer day and Maverick didn't disappoint. I was able to get my wife a fountain diet coke and me a slushy and even though the store was super busy the self check made for a quick easy exit. The store was clean, air conditioned, and we'll stocked

I went there today to get me a pork salad from the Bonfire .The two people was in there are horrible,my salad was disgusting the whole salad just lettuce .Not the same as the one I order from there before and the other Maverick locations …

SCREW THIS MAVERIK. 8:30 pm on a SATURDAY and they closed their bathrooms? I came back from a road trip and I had to pee so bad I was literally crying. The employee had ZERO sympathy. Don't go to this Maverik. Go to the Love's down the road.

5 visible employees and we were completely ignored for 5 minutes at checkout. One just walked away from the checkout when we put items on the counter. Forced to use self checkout and lookup items without barcodes on them. Never go here!

Clean store, nice guy but for some reason I was charged twice. I prepaid inside for gas but after printing the receipt outside it charged my car again for the about I ended up getting cuz my car wouldn't hold as much as I thought.

Clean Maverick and today it seemed like they were doing a lot of cleaning. I get all my soda fountain drinks here and love it when they surprised me with a free one. My van seems to run fine with this gas so I'll keep coming back.

The employees in this store are second to none! I go out of my way to stop at this Maverik. Out of 300 plus other Maveriks, THIS is the customer service that stands out and should be the service model for the entire company.

most Mavericks are just general and common this one really stands out because of the staff there they really are friendly to people they recognize faces they remember people are very friendly and that's why I use this one

I like Maverik gas stations but this one is different. No coffee, low in cream, bathrooms not working… I think they shouldn’t let it go down in the quality we expect. Gas prices are great, specially with your member card.

I have been a huge Maverik fan for years, but I hate going there now since they closed all the bathrooms. I'm an UBER driver. I like to fill up and use the facilities all at once, but lately I've had to go elsewhere.

I was denied to use the restroom because I refused to leave my purse in up front. Wth, it's barely bigger that a 2Liter bottle. Now if it were as big as a back-pack, I'd understand. But this place is outta control.

Widely popular stop for workers and the coffee is good and maintained.... Hot food put out and fresh... Emplyees are fast and friendly... Deffenetly good stop for on the way too work or quick stop for lunch...

Friendly employees. Unfortunately they have to deal with a lot of different types of people lot of homeless lot of panhandling and a lot of drug dealing. I don't let my family go there unless I'm with them.

Poor customer service. I waited in line for five min with 4 employees there 3 were complaining about there job the one working was frustrated but trying. This store is next to the corporate office. wow

The Asian worker treated me horribly and kicked me out for no good reason, cause the way I looked. Then as I left the store she comes out and tells me if I ever come back she would brake my bones… Rude

The store is very clean and tidy it's nice that they give you a code and you don't have to know which pump you're on and the stuff was very helpful and respectful and cheerful it was a nice experience

I only go to maverick gas stations in Utah unless I’m forced to go elsewhere for gas. But everything maverick has is great and I love this location in particular. Clean, bright, and convenient!

Long lines, not very clean for a Maverick, out if stock on most things, and staff not very helpful. Thought I was buying a cheeseburger turned out to be a sausage and egg biscuit. Whatever.

This Maverick may not be the biggest but makes up for it but being one of the cleanest. This Maverick always seems to have by far the lowest priced gas in the Salt Lake Valley.

Stopped by 3 different maverick on Friday this one included the price in refills and new cups was different was told taxes. The employees was very friendly and helpful.

I almost bought a salad here, but I noticed the old sell-by date label had been removed and a new one was placed on over it. Seems very dishonest to me.

Not very helpful and they don't have much beyond beer and candy.. I think the cashiers are so poorly paid and do so much that they just don't care....

Recently remodeled, and it’s great. Exactly what you need in a quality station— cleanliness, snacks, drinks, and decent people manning the registers.

This is the only convenience store I go to anymore because of the awesome food they make fresh daily, clean bathrooms and the best gas in town.

You have to ask to use the bathroom. Facility was clean. Many gas pumps to utilize. Need new windshield squeegee. Gas is decent price here.

They have always been real nice here during the day but sometimes the night time employees are rude. I love Mavericks gas rewards program.

Busy but usually quick to check out. Mavericks are usually allways busy, but they open extra lines when there is a backup on checkout.

The only downside is that they don’t have cinnabons, staff is very friendly, store is clean and they have everything organized

Restricted bathroom access is extremely annoying, especially when the Maverick 1 mile south doesn't even have bathroom doors.

They have an air machine that has the nozzle cut off. They are still taking money for air, but it is unusable.

There is always transients outside. A few different times they were angry karate kicking the bushes outside.
