I'm so glad a friend referred me to try Maxim. I had been gathering quotes to replace my condenser and feeling like I would never be able to afford it. I dropped by Maxim and right away the owner took a look and gave me a quote that was less than half what I had been getting elsewhere! I dropped it off an hour later before work and before my shift ended I got a call that it was ready! The office is clean and comfortable, the service kind and professional, and I was especially pleased that I didn't feel I was treated any differently as a woman. (One of the shops I callled told me they had to, by law, run a $115.00 diagnostic and then questioned me about what part I even needed replaced.) I'll be going to Maxim for all my auto repairs from now on!

I would give Vitaliy 10 stars if I could. He went so above and beyond to get me and my husband back on the road today (Christmas Eve) when someone stole our converter. We are just driving through on the way to California, so we had no resources to call on. I called 15 places before I got hold of Vitaliy, everywhere is closed for Christmas. He was closed He found the part we needed and called in favors to get it for us at a reasonable price (I heard him negotiating on the phone with the lady at the warehouse). He was very transparent about the cost breakdown, and I felt like he was underselling himself. I think everything took 90 minutes. Thank you for the Christmas miracle, Vitaliy!!! We'd be stuck without your kindness.

I was just visiting Portland from Sacramento when I noticed I had a coolant leak / overheating issue. I brought the car in and he diagnosed a radiator crack immediately causing a leak and then later on called about the water pump needing replacement as well because of it leaking too. He encouraged me to reach out to our mechanic in CA to get a quote from them for comparison and his price was indeed much lower. He was able to get the two engine part replacements done by the next morning, when I was needing to drive back to CA. He also fixed my headlight for free, which was out. After his repairs I was able to safely drive back to CA with no issues!

I brought my girlfriend's Hyundai and then my own Honda to Maxim, and in both cases Vitaly went over the diagnostics with me, talked me through options to fix problems, gave me the option to order my own parts, and then installed them charging only for labor. In a world full of dishonest mechanics, it's great to find someone trustworthy. If you're going to buy a used car, bring it here first - Vitaly will charge something like $50 to give it a once-over. In my case, he even made short-term repair projections and suggested a new negotiated price with the seller based on the mechanical condition of the car. Well worth it!

My friend referred me to try Maxim Auto Care LLC. couple weeks ago. I was able to book an appointment to fix my brakes in a timely manner even during the busy thanksgiving week. Vitaliy was definitely one of the most honest mechanic I have ever dealt with (on top of being an awesome and knowledgeable). He didn't try to up-sell any services even though I was ready to pay for the big brake jobs (rotors, pads, flush, etc..) and only performed the necessary jobs. His service was fast and well-priced. My brakes never felt this good before! I would definitely bring my cars back to Vitaliy if I ever need another job done.

The mechanic that runs this shop is a very straight forward and honest guy. Other shops told me it would take three days for the work that Vitaly completed in less than an hour(really just over a half an hour). The first time I talked to him on the phone was less than 24 hours prior. He ordered the parts, had it in the shop when I got there in the morning and kept me updated about the progress of the parts. I was honestly pretty amazed by the whole experience. Definitely will recommend people looking for an honest mechanic. It’s a good feeling finding a mechanic you can trust.

It was kind of an accident... I wasn't planning it when I drove past the open bay at Maxim Auto Care. But I stopped. The front "skirt" on my 2014 Ford Escape was falling off--the plastic connectors worn out. It was a total cold call. The mechanic was just finishing up another car. What happened next was so unexpected and refreshing: Vitaliy, the mechanic, put my car up, showed me the problem, fixed it with an ingenious hack and sent me off. WOW. Beep, beep-- Not a Corporate Auto Shop but a kind and capable guy who can fix a car!!

Awesome mechanic, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. My car broke down outside of the business hours and the owner still answered my call, guided me what to do to drop off my car, and said he would call me first thing. Sure enough, 9am rolls around and I get a call with what's wrong with the Jeep, what needs to be fixed, how much it will cost, etc. and they get it done by lunch. I will absolutely be returning if we have any other problems. I highly recommend you check them out if you need any work done.

I brought him my wife's rig because she's about to drive about 2,500 miles round trip. Solo, with the kiddos.... Ya. Got it back same day, and the thing absolutely feels and looks like it is brand new. It is un-believable, I honestly never knew it could run so smoothly. Price was right on target too. I'm hesitant to even write this for fear he'll never be able to get me on the schedule, but this shop deserves to be successful. Finally found an honest, decent excellent mechanic. This guy does this in his sleep.

He stopped everything he was doing to help me out while in town, I gave him a call and 15 minutes later my truck was on the lift... 5 minutes after that he had found the problem and showed me exactly what was going on. This kind of mechanic is hard to come by.

Go to this shop. I was frantically looking for a last minute fix and they called me back after all hope was lost and were able to get the problem fixed and me back on the road in an HOUR. Throughout it all they were informative, fair, kind, and incredibly efficient. Just good vibes all around. You don’t want to miss out on getting your car fixed by Maxim Auto Care.

I take all of my cars here! The best shop in town SERIOUSLY. Max always takes good care of my cars and knows what he is doing 100% from my bmw to my Toyota and Ford he specializes in all of them! I let him take care of ALL my car problem needs YES including me engine and transmission! Not only does he do a wonderful job but he charges the best prices around!

This place is awesome. He charged me less than half of what the dealership had quoted, and was very honest and transparent about the work that needed (or actually didn't really need) to be done. He even changed my cabin air filters free of charge, and the air in my car is sooo much nicer now! I highly recommend taking your car here for service.

Maxim Auto Care has been working on my vehicles from Dodge Caravan to BMW 323i since 2011. He uses new and factory parts and has always done repairs so effciently (same day). I was referred to him by a co-worker who kept telling me to take my vehicle to him. I wish I'd listened even sooner! Thier work ethic is incomproable. Maxim is the BEST!

Absolutely love this place. The mechanic albeit having a classic acceptable bit of snark, was very fair and honest. He will call before any charge and ask for approval. He knew I could put an alternator in myself and ordered a new one etc but said I should install it myself to save money. Fantastic! Very transparent would recommend to anyone.

I visited Maxim twice with my 97 Accord, first time is the car made bad noise when it turned, and second is the engine overheat. Vitaliy is awesome. Got my oil changed for much cheaper than somewhere like JiffyLube and it was done just as quickly. Honest, Helpful, Skilled Mechanic! Vitaly may have saved me over a thousand dollars. I took in my Ford Fiesta because it was stuck in park and wouldn't start. He figured out it was my transmission module (computer) and told me it may be covered with Ford's warranty.

Took my car in for the first time and they did a great job with an oil change and brake fluid flush. Also replaced the air filter for free and let me know my battery was getting old (which it was) and replaced it quickly. I’m ready to drive to the coast!
