"Park was lovely and ambient"
"The bigger playground is more suited to older kids - six- to eight-year-olds may struggle to make it across some of the equipment, like the monkey bars, which are hard to reach and a long way off the ground"
"Nice park for a romantic picnic or for just a brisk stroll along the river bank"
"Great river views and a good place for a picnic"
"We have been coming to this park for a few years now"
Park was lovely and ambient. There is a restaurant located near the park called Oliverto's. The space is quite large which is great for families and birthday parties and being by the water added to the atmosphere as well. Overall it was a great place to spend a Sunday morning.
The bigger playground is more suited to older kids - six- to eight-year-olds may struggle to make it across some of the equipment, like the monkey bars, which are hard to reach and a long way off the ground. The smaller playground is more suited to toddlers and preschoolers.
Nice park for a romantic picnic or for just a brisk stroll along the river bank.. with sheltered picnic tables available & bins throughout the park.. families make use of this park as there are a few playgrounds for children to enjoy.. barbecues are permissible here..
Great river views and a good place for a picnic. Amenities include offstreet carpark, several little covered picnic tables/ bench seats with toilets closeby. A Kokoda walk/memorial nearby with a restaurant and Kokoda Cafe along the way. Well worth visiting!
We have been coming to this park for a few years now. It is off Homebush bay drive road and has bay views. Kakoda track is right next to the Reserve. Area is very popular and attracts huge crowds on weekdays and weekends. BBQ facilities are
This place is so serene and breezy. Perfect place for BBQ and Picnic. There is a play area for children. Its wheel-chair accessible. There is onsite BBQ arrangement. One thing that bothered me is the birds, they keep gathering near you, when
Thrilled that the first stage of the park upgrade is now complete and couldn’t wait to explore. The design was revised, supposedly for safety reasons as the initial open beach design was changed to a dry beach separated by a seawall. A bit
I went there around noon and the place was already packed. They had 6 picnic tables and one barbecue facility for the public to use. You can also bring your own bbq grill and set your own tables, chairs etc . They also have bin for hot
I feel bad for giving a 3 stars but was very disappointed with the toilets! It’s a big park and it’s such a great place to spend a day with the family. However, I refused to take my kid to the toilet there.
Perfect place for relaxing by the water side and enjoying the peace. You can also light up your charcoal BBQ and enjoy a nice meal. Park well equipped with facilities well done Canada Bay Council …
Kids playground, climbing frame and another playground with sand for bigger kids. Some rubbish here and there, but still highly recommended. Seems there's some construction at the moment - maybe BBQs?
Very nice place for a picnic spot... Highly recommended for weekend and weekdays for the morning and evening walk . family, friends get together,BBQ at the place. Playground for children's More
It has 2 playing area of kids, 1 being for smaller kids & other for older ones.. Beautiful view of the river.. as seat out chair.. and some with shelter.. walkable distance from station..
Nice and peaceful place to hang out.You can have a wonderful view of water and play ground for children as well. You have plenty of parking space so don't need to worry about the parking.
The recently opened rock pool section was a complete disapointment. Rocks were too steep and uneven for grandparents and mothers with prams etc to access the splash pond. There is no
This is a nice park with a water front. There are good playgrounds for all ages. Covered seating areas, public restrooms, hotplates and a charcoal dispenser and wasy access parking.
Nice small park where can go for run with the lake view. Family friends park where they have play area for kids and toddlers. You can plan on a Family pick nick on sunny day
Nice park for walk, fishing, play , family ,bbq , and there is mini golf course. And beside the park located near parramatta river a good place for relaxation.
The playground floor is stinky and dirty sand, with no fencing, right next to a heavy traffic street with six lanes, the sand goes everywhere, very unpleasant
Excellent play equipment- one park for 1-4 yr olds and another bigger park for older kids. This place gets very busy in warmer months.
Nice playground. Very busy with families with little ones on weekends. Try to get here early to secure a good parking spot.
I think the upgrade is well spent, but the playground needs upgraded as well, and the restroom needs to be easy to find.
Great place for kids. Free 3-hour parking. But we were there around 4 or 5 pm at sunday and public toilets were closed!
A nice place with beautiful view of the river and plenty full space for children’s play area.good for bar b que as well
Good playgrounds for kids and great open areas including a free mini golf course. Picnic facilities could be better.
Great place to bring your kids and your pooch. Park has off lead areas in the morning before 9am and after 5pm.
Great playground for older kids and babies/toddlers. Bathroom under construction right now though.
Great place to enjoy water side views and a park. There's a small play area for kids to have fun.
Large, expansive open space. Good to see a park being used so well by the community.
Its made out to be a swimming place but there are signs up saying no swimming
