Park was lovely and ambient. There is a restaurant located near the park called Oliverto's. The space is quite large which is great for families and birthday parties and being by the water added to the atmosphere as well. Overall it was a great place to spend a Sunday morning.

The bigger playground is more suited to older kids - six- to eight-year-olds may struggle to make it across some of the equipment, like the monkey bars, which are hard to reach and a long way off the ground. The smaller playground is more suited to toddlers and preschoolers.

Great river views and a good place for a picnic. Amenities include offstreet carpark, several little covered picnic tables/ bench seats with toilets closeby. A Kokoda walk/memorial nearby with a restaurant and Kokoda Cafe along the way. Well worth visiting!

Thrilled that the first stage of the park upgrade is now complete and couldn’t wait to explore. The design was revised, supposedly for safety reasons as the initial open beach design was changed to a dry beach separated by a seawall. A bit

I feel bad for giving a 3 stars but was very disappointed with the toilets! It’s a big park and it’s such a great place to spend a day with the family. However, I refused to take my kid to the toilet there.

The playground floor is stinky and dirty sand, with no fencing, right next to a heavy traffic street with six lanes, the sand goes everywhere, very unpleasant

Excellent play equipment- one park for 1-4 yr olds and another bigger park for older kids. This place gets very busy in warmer months.

I think the upgrade is well spent, but the playground needs upgraded as well, and the restroom needs to be easy to find.
