As a spiritual healer and genetically gifted empath, something seems off with the subliminal aura of McKinnon Secondary College. I spent my days at this site of dark energy channelling and practising my subliminal mind to detect and close the source of this energy, but my efforts to convince the leading staff of McKinnon were often met with laughter and sometimes even scolding. I was, however, able to spot the source of the mind energy anomaly. It was from one of the loan instruments in the music room, im not sure which. If this dark instrument is not disposed of then the preliminary ceiling will collapse into the quantum realm and the students attending the school will undergo what we in the industry call a class 4, aka total vibe subtraction. This 2015 YEAR-9 teachers create miracles for unmotivated but clever students! I know my child has great potential but whatever I do I can't seem to motivate him. I just stopped doing anthing as he seemed to be rebelling more and we just ended up arguing. Suddenly, at the start of Year-9, he started doing his homework, doing projects and studying dilligently! We (parents) didn't do anything to change his behaviour. I give this honour to all the 2015 Year-9 teachers - encouraging and motivating him. They seem to have the magic formulae that works. Simply Amazing!!! To all McKinnon Secondary teachers, especially the 2015 YEAR-9 Teachers, my heartfelt appreciation and thank you. Cheers and more power to you all!!! Good place to learn however for a school most teachers don't seem to possess the intelligence to understand that students aren't delinquents for trying to keep themselves warm during 10 degree weather. As an underweight girl I do not appreciate getting yelled at by a muscly man wearing multiple articles of clothing and threatened a detention for god forbit, wearing something to keep myself warm under my uniform. Learn some manners and a bit of empathy, especially when the winter uniform is useless against cold weather. If you really care about students change the school uniform so its warmer and the clothing isn't paper thin

The best secondary college by far. The teachers are truly magnificent and they treat each student like their own child. The school has a highly developed sports and music environment which is not easily found in other colleges. Apart fro learning, students are always given the brightest opportunity to participate in sport, music and other lively activities. The school also introduces the 24/7 charity fund raising program to not just give the students the chance to have some fun with their friends but also understand the importance of giving others the helping hand. Great, 8 stars school!!

WOW! Rating is not everything but such amazing reviews for this school! The academic results for the school is comparable to higher fees schools. I know someone who moved to the area for the school, I would seriously consider the same if not for the issue of co-education for girls ( this presents additional worries as a parent in my view). It seems though that the school’s culture, imbedded in the principal and teaching staff is what makes it an exceptional place! Keep up the good work! Hope the school maintains the same ethos even with changes of staff in future.

Our eldest daughter was in MSC for three years and the second one for one year (Both were outstanding students) until we moved interstate. Before the end of 2021, they were back to school after a year of lockdown straight into the end-of-the-year exams. MSC's staff put the kids under huge pressure, it seems that they did not consider the nature of the past year's studies and they do not see the students as kids but as a grades factory.

What a wonderful place for the young to learn. My last child is finishing this year and she and my son have loved every moment as MCK students. From the wonderful teaching staff to the incredible principle I would like to say Thankyou. You made life interesting fun and safe for my teenagers whilst learning and growing in this tricky adolescent stage. They are proud to have been a part of McKinnon.

After witnessing great horrors at the so called public school "Mckinnon Secondary College" i can confirm that i dont rember what i saw because i have early onset dementia but i do recall someone climing the school roof and falling through and breaking the locker below him

I went to this school from years 7-12 and received and excellent education particularly for a public school. In fact the McKinnon area property price is higher as people will pay a premium to live in the McKinnon school zone so that there kids can go there.

If you’re any type of creative person DO NOT go here. Your creativity will be diminished and ruined. No one cares about anything except getting good academic grades. Oh and if you’re struggling mentally then too bad because no one cares again.
