Would definitely recommend!! Paul came to see us end of Jan to quote on our moss/lichen covered terracotta tiled roof. We thought we only needed it cleaned, but when talking to Paul we realised we needed more than this done; some repointing bedding etc. We had a second quote from another company who we gave the same brief to and they had a very similar response to Paul, showing that we clearly needed more work done than a clean. In comparison, Pauls pricing was competitive, he was a good communicator and we felt he was trust worthy: now the job is done we are still super happy we went with Paul! Whilst Paul was cleaning and repairing our roof it became apparent that our box gutters were also in need of repair, with years of dirt just filling in the pin holes that had rusted through over time. Paul was able to add the repair of this to the job at what we felt was a very fair extra price. The repair will hopefully give us a few more years out of the gutters before replacing for something more modern. We feel Paul has a very good work ethic! Paul was conscious to talk to our neighbours before the roof started being cleaned and to check in with them after (to clean up any mess caused), and Paul worked hard on the roof during very warm days to finish our roof inside 3 days. Paul checked under our house for any spare roof tiles we might have, and he cleaned them for us in case we needed to use them in the future (we were having solar panels installed 2 weeks after). Check out our before and after photos, we think it speaks for itself, very happy! If roof cleaning was a service we used frequently we would definitely use Paul, but we feel he has looked after our roof so well that we won't be seeing him again for some time now! Best tradesman I've ever had to deal with. I came across Paul from Melbourne Roof Cleaning & Restoration after 2 others failed to return my calls. Paul removed a skylight, repointed, replaced many broken tiles,cleaned roof & gutters, cut back trees,sealed & painted my roof.Even painted my gargoyle.All looks fantastic and after some decent rain overnight, no leaks.The cost was less than what I expected.He even replaced some timber at no extra cost.Cleaned up thoroughly, even took my bins out for me.Can't recommend Paul highly enough. Speaking of quality, make sure you meet his dog "willow".

After phoning several roof cleaning companies and receiving no response or outrageous quotes we decided to contact Paul at Melbourne Roof and Cleaning & Restoration. If we could give 6 stars we would. Polite, punctual and above all professional all describe his work ethic. Above all else we are amazed at how the roof has come up. Gutter guard replaced, tiles cleaned and even our side gate fixed!. This company will do well (three of our neighbours asked for a quote once they saw how good our roof looks now). Top notch.

Paul arrived right on time to do our quote, then kept us informed as to time of arrival to do the job as the weather was intermittent. He cleaned our colourbond carport roof which was covered in mould and lichen, and replaced a clear skylight strip right along the back patio. Paul came past my house while I was at work and told me the day after that my roof was all good but when I called another guy to check . I had a few cracked tiles and it shocked me that he could lie like that. I'm not sure what his problem was but definitely thank my lucky stars I didn't choose him. Seems as though he's got great reviews and goodluck to the next customer. I thought they were a restoration for roofs but obviously couldn't be bothered with my roof.

Sent an email about our leaking roof - never responded. Followed it up a few days later with a phone call, left a message - responded a few days later. I tried to arrange a time for him to come round but he couldn't do any of the days/times suggested. My husband called him a couple of days later to try and arrange a day/time when he would be around, he left a message - never responded! Unreliable & unprofessional - don't waste your time!!

My husband Dennis was extremely happy with the work Paul did in making our old roof look brand new. We had our roof cleaned, repointed, sealed and sprayed with our favourite colour, monument. The service was NOT complete and in fact more damages were done than good that we had to call our insurance company. I have tried to complain and sort out the issue amicably but the company is obviously not interested anymore since they’ve been paid. No replies to any calls or emails no matter what I tried. Lucky for those who had a good outcome but definitely not what we have experienced.

Paul is an honest, kind and generous man. He is worthy of trust, and has done a fantastic job on our roof. It is a terracotta roof and was covered with moss and needed re-pointing. Completing repair work on roofs in the winter is a challenge. Paul is a good communicator and kept us informed as to progress.
