There just seems to be no follow up in place for this location. In have been visiting this specific facility (Tryon) for almost 2 years and it seems that I have had nothing but issues. I have had to literally follow up on everything myself which I do understand is part of my responsibility but however when it comes to a simple phone call or update to get a prescription approved, I don't understand why it has taken over 3 months over 6 phone calls and still no approval. When call the Pharmacy and Insurance company they both advise they are waiting on approval from MIM. When I first started visiting, I would receive automated messages asking to schedule an appointment almost 2 times a week even though I already had an appointment scheduled. MIM advised they were in the process of migrating to a new system. I understand but this went on for over 6 months and just got a little frustrating. I understand there is a portal where patients can go check there results but there are no follow up calls on results even if there is an issue. I have had to call 2 or 3 times to get answers on my results. I'm a little new to Charlotte and am not use to this lack of service. I don't know if it's the Dr or the staff but it's just frustrating trying to get something done and are advised they will follow up but never do. I've tried and tried not even yelling at anyone because I don't it's worth it. I guess I will just have to find another Dr's office. Sorry for the long rant, I'm done.

Had visit Tuesday went well, give a shout to Dr. Ellis a great doctor had to return for more lab arrive at 8 o'clock was told lab would not be open until 9. Was about to leave when Gloria office manager came out and told me they do it. The sweet nurse name Yensy did it for me, she did a good job. She normally prepare patients for the doctor. Thank you Gloria and Yensy for not having me to wait. Been with this office over 20 + years.

I’ve been a patient for several years. I’ve had only positive experiences here. The staff is professional, accommodating and highly skilled. My doctor is the best! He offers the best healthcare and cares about his patients and their well-being. The nurses are also caring and demonstrate great bedside manner. I highly recommend Metrolina Internal Medicine to anyone who is seeking first-rate quality healthcare.

Everyone was very kind and professional. Sevice was fast but at the same time very efficient in solving my problem and listening to me. They were very patience with me and answering all my questions. When calling for an appointment or a question, the are very responsive in helping me. I hope that they always stay the good friendly people who they are because the world needs more people of good nature

As usual, the staff was very professional and very informative with all of the information I needed. Dr. Pettis was very thorough in explaining everything that's going on with my health. He answered all of my questions and gave me suggestions on how to improve on areas of concern and to maintain what's going right, in order to have the lifestyle I want.
