The Team at Mike Evans were fantastic. They managed what could have been a very frustrating experience into an acceptable one by providing clear, honest and direct communication. I recommend you consider using their services should you require a panel beater. The team managed our expectations and advised us of the challenges they and therefore we) were likely to have because insurance companies require them to fit non-OEM parts. Please take the time to listen to them to avoid become frustrated by delays and problems caused by factors our of their control as discussed below. It was our experience that these non-OEM parts (that insurance companies require them to fi) either do fit well or at all. They also require extra effort/time to fit. In the case of the BMW headlights we had two defective non-OEM fittings (and 3 wasted days) before the insurance company agreed to authorized Mike Evans to fit an original part. It works perfectly. We were kept apprised of the process (and delays) throughout. Their after sales care has been exemplary.

Dear Mike Evans and Staff I have just had the best service and experience with your business. From the start, feeling so bleak about my new car being dinged, I went about getting quotes on behalf of the third party who crashed the car. I did not want my insurance involved. Firstly, most places would not give me a quote without upfront payment of a fee. At your shop however i was treated like a guy who had a problem and just needed help. Donovan Holman was amazing. He gave the quote, spoke to their insurance company, (got no help from them) Donovan called me when he was ready for the car, kept me informed at each step as the parts arrived, and on the third day I was able to collect. 1 star is way too high. VERY, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! After being involved a a rear end accident, we took the car in for a quotation. First quotation received only mentioned some of the damage. Windscreen cost and exhaust we were told to get elsewhere. Promised a revised quote would be sent through. Still didn't list everything, so spoke to Kim who promised to forward the correct quote.......I AM FLABBERGASTED!!!! He decided he had authority to write the car off, when I called to complain and asked why a panelbeater thought he had the authority when it's normally the insurance that decides....HE ENDED THE CALL. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Took my vehicle in about 2 years ago for a small scratch on the side they took almost a month to finish it,was an insurance claim now when I'm trying to sell the car every dealer has reduced the price by 15k for there terrible workmanship,apparently they didnt mix the paint properly and one side looks completely different from the other side of the car. Amazing they post a review on google about my company after we posted a negative but true review about there company, we have never transported them.There goes all your crediblity about being honest and professional.

Wow, really fantastic work MIKE, from initial discussion around the repair up until the actual work was completed. Mike was involved directly and was so genuine!!! gave me advice for cheaper alternatives etc. His staff is just as friendly. Quality of the job was to perfection! keep on doing what you doing! il try and post a before and after pic of the work that was done. I have had 5 (or is it 6?) vehicles repaired by Mike Evans since June 2018 and have had excellent service. The quality of work is tops and delivery has been on time every time. Thank you Mike Evans.... What I did find strange was that the last vehicle that was repaired had the quote turned down by Hollard Insurance because apparently they weren't BEE compliant. What a lot of bull! So I requested a cash pay out and got the job done by them anyway.

I can truelly say.. Mike Evans is one of the most honest panel shops in Cape Town. As a previous employee, I've worked for Mike Evans for 15 years and Mike Evans is the most honest guy I've ever met. The workmanship was of the highest standards. I've been visiting Mike Evans for the past 10 years since I've left and nothing has changed, his standards are still up to date. Definitely will recommend him above any other panel shop in Cape Town.

My car was fixed really quickly and thier prices are affordable. As a woman it is extremely hard to find a car service company that literally does not take you for a ride! I immediately felt I can trust this company and it is indeed the best service I ever received when it comes to repairing cars. Plus they do not charge extra to get a quote! I had the most amazing experience when taking my vehicle in to be repaired by Mike Evans. The staff are so friendly and helpful. When collecting my vehicle I was taken to the vehicle and shown what repairs were done. I was also told about the check list which was done before the vehicle can be collected. Mike gave me a reasoned response to my negative review, explaining that the workshop disconnects the batteries of all cars that come in for extensive work so that they don't run down. I accept that and only wish that the battery had been properly reconnected so that the motor didn't cut out on the way home. Otherwise, excellent body work completed.

I will highly recommend Mike Evans, we really had a pleasant experience, great workmanship and they beat all quotes. I first had an insurance claim for external fender bender damage, after this great experience we took our older Jetta to have the lining of the roof replaced, the car looks brand new. Appreciate the service and 5-star experience.

I received excellent service from Mike and his team. The quote was emailed to me speedily, the repair was carried out to my satisfaction, and I was delighted with my vehicle when I collected it as they had touched up a couple of paint chips that I hadn't even noticed and without extra charge.
