I've been commuting between Indy and Bloomington five days a week with my job (more than 120 miles a day). My driver's side back brake light and left-turn signal light went out. I took the vehicle to Jiffy Lube in Bloomington (super nice group of people), but they said it wasn't just a burnt-out light bulb. They said my car would need some electrical work. This happened right at the July Fourth Holiday weekend (2021). I called the nearest dealership, and they couldn't make an appointment for me until August. I sure didn't want to drive so many miles without these two important lights not working for a month. I called a few other places, and they were all booked also. It was Monday (July 5th), and my only day off until Friday. I called the Mobile Garage Indy (after seeing the good reviews on Google), and the nice person on the other end of the phone told me to bring the car by in about 20 minutes. When I got to the address the first time, I passed it because it was hard to see from the road. I circled back around and found it. Ron looked at the light bulb and electrical wiring. He tested the system and in under a minute he found the problem. In two minutes, he had it fixed. Wow! I don't know where else you could find a mechanic so nice, accommodating and fast in Indy. The price was very reasonable. I also met Ms. Lily and got to hold one of her darling new pups. What a great experience in a world full of so many people who seem quick to cheat. Getting my brake light and left-hand turn signal fixed was a huge relief for me. Thank you, Ron and Lily -- y'all are the best!

If I could give zero stars I honestly would. We were told our car would be fixed in a day. It took over a week. We were told it was just a leaky water pump and then when we went to pick it up he said “by the way you’re going to need the whole top half of your engine repaired before winter and it’ll cost 3000-5000”. With no mention of these issues whenever we repeatedly asked him “and it’s still just the water pump”? We paid him $600 for the repair just to drive our car not even 2 miles down the road and die on us at an intersection. When we returned back to his business that evening he said there was nothing he could do for us. We took it to the ford dealership and this mechanic who said he fixed our “leaky water pump” bent the entire axle and frame of our car, didn’t put the timing belt back together correctly, parts were missing from our car, and the “new” water pump hose he put in had a hole in it. Ended up costing us $2500 and a month in the Ford garage to get everything back together. It was a nightmare. Please, from the bottom of my heart I beg you to look elsewhere for mechanic services.

We took our CX5 in a couple of days ago, after the CEL came on, with a gut-wrenching loss of power. I looked up the symptoms, (as well as the oil on the plug), thinking I could do it myself. It was over my head, but we also don't have much money. Enter Ron. After making our way around the Brickyard traffic, we met him and the three PERFECT shop dogs. Ron texted me later with a diag, and we agreed that he would do the gasket, but that I would do the plugs and coils. Went in 2 days later, and it was ready. Had been for a day. When it came time to pay, I was expecting the worse. After picking my jaw up off the ground, I paid the EXTREMELY reasonable price, talked a bit more about his projects, and we went on our ways. They may be a busy shop, and it may not look like a dealership or big-box shop, but they are the best I've been to in my 20+ years of unreliable cars. TL;DR 10/10, would recommend. Slightly related, but my wife has never not had a mechanic named Ron. I'm sure there's something to be said.

I found Mobile Garage online! Read the reviews and it interest me! So I went over to try him. Actually, Ron and his dog were very nice to me. He fix my new Struts i bought from Autozone both the driver and passenger side. It's working good as I my car no longer pull over the side when I am on a motion at 60-70 speedy meter. Although I noticed little pull but he said I will notice it until i do alignment on the car which I haven't done yet. Having said that, few days I had those struts changed, I have been hearing a noise on the right leg side of my car. I don't know why the noise; but I will have to give him a call or take the car back to him. Other than that, i think he is good and honest. In terms of charges, I don't know if he is fair or not. But looking at what Firestone charged me to have the struts changed, I will say his price is fair. So I recommend people to give him a try. Thank you Ron, but I don't know why my car makes noise after the struts changed.

Charged my husband for a diagnostics test, didn't do it. The tech opened the hood said that's your problem right there the valve cover. When on the phone with Ron before he was told we thought it might be a blown head gasket. Hoping for the best, we spent hundred for parts and labor. We don't know the first thing about cars. I work for a dentist and he is at Eli Lily. How can you possible charge someone for a service that was not done, diagnostic test $133.00. If he would have done the test we would have know the gasket was blown. I feel like we were an easy target. Tried to talk to Ron about this issue before leaving a review and were basically told we were stupid for allowing the tech to do work without the diagnostic. Ummm. So you know you didn't do it and still won't refund the test money. Not to mention everything we put into fixing what the tech said after that. BEWARE!

I was stuck in a parking lot for a whole night and found these WONDERFUL people. At first I called didn’t get an answer but was responded back via text than less than a minute . Before I could even reply to the text they called me and I told them what was going on. I need a new alternator I had already bought the part. They gave me a price of 150 which was Awesome and said they would be to me in about an hour they got there and even got my part for me. They were very persistent with their work and I truly believed these two men goal was to make sure that I was able to travel back to SC today. They even brought me gas so I could make it to the gas station. They are also very tech savvy since they had cash app which is very needed since the age of COVID. They were my lifesavers today if you ever get stuck on the road call them they will make sure you are well taken care of.

Was on a multi state trip far from home when my vehicle died. Called Ron and he was booked for days but understood I was in need of immediate help. He came directly to my hotel with a battery to try and get me going. Unfortunately the battery wasn’t the issue and I needed an alternator. Brought the vehicle to his shop and he was kind enough to push other jobs to replace my alternator so I could get to St. Louis for my deadline. If anyone has ever had their vehicle breakdown far from home this can be a scary and stressful experience. Ron saved my vacation and gave EXCEPTIONAL customer service which you rarely see nowadays. Thanks again Ron and may good karma come back your way!

Ron took great care of me and my car--honestly!! Both rear wheel bearings had had it!! I mean, seriously, angels were holding them together keeping them from further damage. I am a Lyft driver and they had gotten so bad, passengers started to verbally take notice. After searching all over for an above-average mechanic, I finally found one!! He is honest, professional, fair, quick, accommodating, and nice. He allowed me to provide the part and still guaranteed his work!! Car hums like new!! So pleased, I'm sending my daughter and closest sister-friends!! Mobile Garage Indy is the truth! Highly recommend

Totally blew my service request off. I was told I needed a new fuel pump from a auto care novice. I call my closest mobile mechanic and called them and left a message explaining and introducing. Monday midday I called and he say he was swamped and when he checked his messages, he would call me. Wednesday came around and he stopped responding to my calls. Seemed racist to turn down rendering a service that was two blocks away from your service address listed. Anyway I got on YouTube and changed it. Sad how I couldn't find the help I needed so I had to do it myself.

A bunch of warning lights came on in my Prius and i needed it to be looked at. Unlike a few other services I found online, he actually had posted hours and actually answered his phone. Happily, Ron was available right away (yes, good timing on my part) and his rate was well below the other mobile mechanic services i found in the area. Very helpful and professional and he takes PayPal! Definitely recommend!

Rob had done a amazing job on my car. Basically my whole front in frame, control arms and etc had to be replaced. He stayed dedicated to fixing car while fixing others as well on top of his own vehicle being fixed two times and when the part store neglected to pull the pair he and I needed. Rob thought of a solution outside the box so then I could return to work when I ran out of time. Thank you Rob.

Ron is the best! As a poor student who knows nothing about cars, I spent 2 weeks trying to find an honest mechanic in the Indy/Speedway area. After 12+ shops quoted me upwards of $500 for a solenoid replacement, Ron did it in an hour for $200. I am never going to a different mechanic, Ron has my business for life! If you want honest, quick, and reasonably priced work, this is your place!!!

They have had my Ford Explorer in there since the beginning of April for a head gasket job. It is July 17th 2021 and they still had my valve covers on. They never answer the phone. Voicemail box is full. Please dont tell me 2 to 4 weeks and it's been 12 weeks and now my other car needs work. You guys are liars and unreliable. I hope this gets read before people start going there.

Coming from out of town, we called late Saturday evening when our check engine light started flashing. Ron graciously agreed to check the car the next day. Even though it was Sunday and the garage was closed, he still came and ran diagnostics and giving us advice for the check engine light. Cannot believe the kindness of him helping us out of towners on his day off.

Great service. My alternator went out in my truck. I called and they told me if I could get there before 8 pm they would have it fixed same day. They fixed the part right around the time they closed. Truck still wouldn’t start so they drove me to autozone after they had closed to get some other things that needed to be fixed. Would highly recommend

I was just notified today 12/26/20 of a mechanics lien on a car , I just called they said they sold it with no title didn't give me any notification... I have the date of the letter i just recieved and signed for..The letters date is 12/9/20.. Didn't even give me a break down in charges for the $3000.00
