I was there for a relaxing get away and had multiple services. I received a massage, facial, pedicure and manicure over 2 separate days. I can honestly say the pedicure and manicure ( both done by the same person) were wonderful and what I would expect. The massage, although not the type I usually enjoy, was also done professionally and was enjoyable. The facial however was not at all what I would expect from this spa. The entire facial felt rushed and was not in any way relaxing. The technician did not listen to me when I told her what my area of concern was and so I left feeling worse than when I came in that respect. Her use of the tools on my skin was haphazard and not enjoyable. I was highly disappointed with that service… which was actually the one I’d look the most forward to. Overall I would go back to this spa as I love the hotel and the La Mansion across the river ( which is where we stayed this visit). The customer service is exceptional and you always feel welcomed. I just would NOT have the facial again. Had it not been for that? I would give them 5 stars

We stayed at the Omni right across the river so we had access to the spa here. It was rated Forbes 4 star for 2021 spas. I have never experienced anything like this. The staff was so professional, personable, and gave a great tour prior to using the spa. The robes make you feel like royalty and are so comfy. I have bad nerve pain so this is exactly what I needed. I spend most of my time in the eucalyptus steam room-felt amazing for my pores and to sweat everything out. The sauna was great after-more like a dry sauna and it had a 15 minute wall timer so you could keep track for your safety. The hot tub was beautiful and the perfect temperature-there could have been more bubbles. The lounge room has comfy chaise’s, calming music, and fresh orange infused water and snacks. The showers are stunning with a round brick tall area with fresh towels, top bath wash and adjustable water pressure-I used the hardest water pressure which felt amazing. Everything was so clean and relaxing.

What an amazing hidden gem! I found this hotel based on the spa amenities and booked based on the reviews. My husband and I spent the night to celebrate our anniversary and we really enjoyed the stay. The staff is the best you’ll find! Wealthy or just splurging for an occasion, they treat you like royalty. We met Stephanie at the front desk and she was amazing! If you haven’t stayed at the Mokara, you should. With your stay you have access to some of the spa amenities without extra charge. There’s a whirlpool, sauna and an eucalyptus steam room‍♀️. The street to the entrance is a little confusing being that it’s on a one way narrow street, so be prepared. Also, you can find cheaper parking in the lots in the area but we chose valet so that we knew our vehicle was safe. Valet is $49. We look forward to returning!!

WOW!!!! I stumbled upon this spa today looking for some last minute relaxation. They had an opening and I booked the warm stone massage. Once you book, you have access to all of their amenities for that day. So I got there early to enjoy the space and let me say, it was just lovely! Everything was extremely nice, clean and comfortable. Not to mention that my massage was probably the best I’ve ever had. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. They even gave me a delicious chocolate mousse cake after my service for my birthday! In all, this was the best spa experience I have EVER had and I will definitely be returning!!!

What a wonderful spa day! While this spa may be a little pricey than some, it is worth it. The facilities are excellent. I love a good relaxation area and hot tub. Mokara did not disappoint. The staff was very personable and accommodating. The services were terrific. I had a facial and massage. My friends also were very happy with their services. In addition we had lunch with our package. It was super tasty. After lunch, we returned to the spa for more lounging and relaxing. We were not staying at this hotel, so we were truly day spa guests. I would 100% return to Mokara.

The CBD massage with Simon was incredible! I feel like a whole new person. Shoulder and neck tension is no joke, and Simon’s technique and pressure alleviated lots of tension and stress for me. The plush robes and amenities, like the steam room, sauna and whirlpool tub, made my experience even lovelier. Mokara Spa is a hidden gem in San Antonio, and I wish I discovered it sooner. Plus, everyone working at the spa was super kind and helpful. I could spend a whole day here and can’t wait to return!

Excelente Spa service, my wife and I reserved a couples massage and it was great. We did not stay at the hotel but guests of the spa get complimentary Valet, the couples massage comes with complementary champagne and snacks. The massage therapist was great, pressure used was just right, great relaxing setting for couples. This was on the higher end of our budget but was well worth it!

We went to this spa last month as we were staying at the Mokara Hotel. The spa staff were very friendly every time we went. The spa atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The men's and women's quarters were separated which is understandable for privacy, how we I wish I could e enjoyed the spa with my spouse. Regardless if we ever travel to the area again we will visit the spa.

Husband & I booked a couple's massage for our Anniversary. I had Valerie as my massage therapist. She was AMAZING!!!! It was the BEST total deep tissue massage I've ever had!!! Highly recommend booking with her. My husband had Simon & he too said it was best deep tissue massage he's ever had. Next time we visit, we certainly know who we will be calling to book with. ☺️

Beautiful place but they are playing music made by AI that’s discordant. Sounds like a horror movie. And unfortunately the sauna room only reaches about 140. Not hot enough for real health enthusiasts. Beautiful location, friendly staff. Could he world class with anyone paying attention to important details like horrific sounds and the actual temp of the sauna.

My husband and I had a couples massage and enjoyed the amenities before and after our service. The massage therapists were June and Valerie. (Unfortunately, another couple kept talking in the lounge after our massages and had there phones taking selfies, so that was a bummer). We did enjoy our massages and the spa experience the staff creates at Mokara.

Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking into staying on the river walk. The amnesties are amazing. You get access to the spa and they have a beautiful rooftop pool. Everything was very relaxing. Our room had a nice view of downtown SA. The best part was the service. The staff was very accommodating, quick to help us, and very attentive.

Enjoy the top Floor pool, hot tub and lounge area We got a great deal through AMEX that included food vouchers at the onsite restaurant OSTRA The food is SO GOOD. Worth a try for sure!

Great location on the River Walk. Gorgeous, spacious rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Reasturants in basement by river walk. We decent, but plenty of better ones within walking distance. Good workout facility with machines, free weights, ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes. Friendly, courteous staff.

My first time in San Antonio and my husband and I wanted to do a couples massage for my birthday. The massage was great but had they communicated we could use the other amenities when I scheduled, I would've rated them a 5. We weren't prepared.

This is a bit overrated. ☹️ We never had our room serviced the first few days. We had to call for towels daily. The toilet water ran constantly; and our view was ridiculous (especially when you are claustrophobic like me - see photo)

We only went to the spa - we didn’t stay at the hotel. I would give 3.5 if I could but generally we had a good time. Overall I would maybe go back for a massage but I don’t think it’s worth the money. It’s not a comfortable place to be.

One the most luxurious spas I’ve ever been too. Great services - had a relaxing facial with Maria. The relaxation room is 5 Stars. Quiet, comfortable oversized chairs and lounges. Accommodating staff. Access to spa facilities all day.

Went for a couples massage. It was fine but they forgot to charge my card. I forgot all about it and then 3 months later I get charged $400. Kind of inconsiderate. And we didn’t even get champagne.
