It is spotless with usually 3 receptionists on all wearing face masks. And safety dividers for everyone's safety. They won't let you in without mask. Qml is in there alot taking samples of blood ect. I think you have to book in advance. People who have flu or covert symptoms see their Dr outside in their car. I've seen about 3 drs and was satisfied with what they did. Being a medical receptionist for 25 years I knew what to expect, very busy and sometimes long wait but worth it. Plenty of parking but right outside only one disabled parking spot. They have just put in 3 car parking especially for elderly wich is a great decision they needed them. Disabled access and toilets inside for patients and staff. You can walk through to their chemist, it does vaccinations for covid but you have to book I think. I have never seen anything but complete confidentiality and the utmost respect for personal information about patients. I was a medical receptionist 27yrs and I found that I could not have seen such a high degree of service and if you have to pay. They will do your Medicare rebate straight away for you. Concession card holders are bulk billed. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Had a 9.45am appointment with Alison Scandrett - arrived on time and despite asking how many people were in front of me (1 apparently) we waited over an hour to be seen. I asked at the front desk 4 times if we were next.. .each time told, yes I was and kept seeing more people walk in front of me. Made a bit of a scene and was told by the lady at reception that "Ive written in capital letters that you're next so not sure whats happening" ... So I stood at her door with my two toddlers until the door opened again and we were then finally seen. I find it appalling that for a clinic that opens at 8am that you can be an 1hr and 15mins late at 9.45. Next time maybe show some compassion/ empathy for people that are waiting and tell them to go to the shops or run other errands and we'll call you when you actually are next! I'm sure NO ONE (Including staff) enjoyed me waiting around for this length of time with a 1 and 2 year old. This is definitely not an exception - This has happened numerous times, the reception staff are incredibly rude and will bark you down if you are 2 mins late - even though you'll have wait 30mins when you get there anyway.

I am very satisfied with Mt Ommaney Family Clinic. The doctor I deal with is helpful and understanding and I never feel that she "rushes" the appointment. She takes time to listen and to ask many questions. The reception ladies are friendly even when really busy. Parking is plentiful given the clinic is within the Mt Ommaney shopping centre, and having the Terry White Pharmacy close by means I can have my scripts filled without having to drive further to a pharmacy. My appointments do sometimes start quite a bit later than the booked time, but this is understandable if a prior appointment has arrived late or more time is needed with that person or there is an emergency that the doctor has to deal with.

Arrived for a bad neck injury,appointment was an hour late , doctor was in a massive rush barely making any eye contact, never asked how I was, what pain levels I was in or how bad it was getting, just wrote down what previous appointments I had with the neck and how I was waiting the returns of scans from a while back and told me to go away and come back another day to get scans, initially she never offered any pain relief , I had to debate the doctor why I needed pain medication because the pain was extreme , explained to me, if the pain that bad for pain relief medication then I should go to the hospital, absolutely no empathy and respect during the appontment.

I have been visiting Mt Ommaney Family Clinic since the last 7 years. My GP is Dr Heena Desai. Ms Georgia and every member of the reception team are very courteous concerned and competent. Dr Desai is an experienced professional with patience courtesy and clarity in her treatment of me and my wife as her patients. We always returned home with peace and confidence of being treated well, and just the needed medicine and care. The nurses in the surgery always made the experience easier with a smile and understanding the patient’s sensitivities. The clinic maintains high standards of hygiene particularly during this pandemic times

Mt Ommaney Family Clinic were so awesome and accommodating. Parking during business hours was easy; the clinic is nice and privately situated - conveniently located with the entryway inside a large Chemist shopfront. These guys sorted out logistical booking problems for an appointment with both the skilled GP and friendly nursing team with no hassle - the admin sorting out what was required to make an appointment at relatively short notice; they had me back to health in to time. Would recommend them highly. 5 stars from me.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Was misdiagnosed by same doctor for 2 seperate things, kept persisting only to essentially be told I was crazy, went for a second opinion and to a specialist to be told original doctor was completely wrong and lucky I listened to gut instinct. 1 year after specialist appointment was told I needed a new referral to continue specialist appointments and to call the clinic for them to fax a referral through, only to be told they will not do that. Very very rude and not good doctors.

Dr Maloney is the most wonderful doctor but the practice should find a way to schedule her appointments so that patients see her at the time they arrange. They know she takes her time with everyone - that's why we love her, because she is caring and thorough - so they should stop booking appointments for every 15mins. Maybe only book 3 out of 4 slots in an hour? Or schedule everybody as a long appointment regardless? I'm sure there's a way they can work around whatever scheduling software they use.

Mount Ommaney Family Clinic is where I go to when I need excellent medical advice and treatment. The staff (doctors, receptionists and nurses) are very caring, efficient and professional and the clinic is conveniently situated within Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre, next to a large, well-stocked pharmacy and a pathologist. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for help with achieving and maintaining optimum health or referral to a specialist for treatment of complex medical conditions.

This surgery is a very racist place. If you migrate from overseas if you got a dark skin don't choose this even you are an Australian citizen. Receptionist ladies are very cunning and may changed your appointment details as soon as they see you physically. Over the phone they don"t know your skin colour. I had to wait nearly 2 1/2 hours and finally I realized this was a deliberate action. I came back without seeing a doctor. Shame on you ladies. Heartless people .

I have an awesome Doctor Dr Linda Maloney She is so kind and caring very thorough and I am delighted in the assistance she continues to provide me with by helping me manage my health issues. My only drama is she is so popular that it takes longer waiting times to see her because she takes care of each one of us with the utmost care and this is so important for us patients so I wait patiently to see her as do all of her patients. My experiences at Mount Ommaney family clinic, have always been wonderful! Every member of the Reception/administration team are warm, welcoming, patient, compassionate, and extremely efficient. My doctor, Dr Linda Maloney is truly magnificent! She always goes above and beyond to provide the best, and most appropriate medical intervention required. - Get appointment for 945. - Turn up early to fill in paperwork. - Asked to sit outside in carpark and wear mask due to symptoms. - Sit in Carpark for over an hour, people smoking endlessly around me. - Get few mins of consultation - $80 All just to get a med cert for having a day off work. How are you running over an hour behind less then two hours into your workday? Standard modern local healthcare.

I am liking Mt Ommaney Family Clinic for more than 4 years now. Dr Chris Andrews is so great. He has the wonderful manner. You can ask him anything. He is very learned associate professor. Also, I am liking the reception ladies and the nurse. Even though I moved from Mount Ommaney, I am always travelling there when I need to see the doctor. Wish you happy everyday. I cannot thank my doctor, Dr Linda Maloney, enough for her continued care and concern for us throughout my family's various illnesses and health episodes. Her extensive knowledge has supported us for many years. In addition, the receptionists and nurses of the practice are always polite and welcoming. I wrote this some years ago - but it is all still true in 2023.

Just returned to Brisbane after an absence of 20+ years and was delighted by the attentive service I received for an injury requiring stitches. Dr Allison did an excellent job and I will be seeing her again for my other medical care needs. The reception snd nursing staff were also very helpful and professional and I would thorough recommend this practice

I have been to Mount Ommaney Family Clinic for years and have always found the doctors are very good they actually listen to you and aren't in a hurry to rush you out the door like many medical centers. The receptionists i can not say enough about they are always cheerful, polite, friendly and nothing is to much trouble for these wonderful ladies.

Members of my family have been seeing Dr Linda Maloney for over 30 years and I have now seen her for 20 years. She is wonderfully kind and knowledgeable and we truly love her. She always runs late for appointments though but does give you all the time you need so it’s something we manage for the love, care and guidance she has given my family.

Have just reported this clinis to RACGP and Human Rights for making my partner wait in the carpark for her appointment, then phone the appointment in. The doctor was kind enough to come out and take my partners blood pressure, also in the carpark. All this because shes unvaxxed. Guess we stop treating people as humans. Forgot that mandate.

All Reception staff make you feel welcomer with their friendly communication with you. I have been seeing Dr Scandrett for many years and will continue to do so. I have the utmost trust in her. The Nursing staff are also very friendly and make you feel at ease when doing any tests, injections etc. Great Medical Centre.

I am very fortunate to be a patient of Dr Collette Sheridan. I have found Dr Sheridan to be very understanding and listens to what you have to say. The specialist doctors that she has referred me have been wonderful and have dealt with my medical problems with a very satisfactory outcome.

The doctors, nurses and admin team are so kind, professional, and supportive. I’ve seen a number of doctors here who are excellent practitioner. Sometimes the wait can be a little long for an appointment but the service I receive is always incredibly thorough. I highly recommend them.

I never have any problem with this clinic. Waiting time maybe a little bit longer but that is very normal for all good doctors, clinics and hospitals. I can say that my doctor is great and very caring. The receptionists are very nice and helpful. Thank you for all the good services.

The receptionist women are choose and pick who they want to be friendly to..we always get unpleasant experience with them. Regardless you have made an appoinment or not you would have to wait atleast 45mins to 1hr wait. You can go here if you have no another options

Most of the time i have to wait for atleast 40mins regardless made an appointment before hand. Only a few doctors are care and happy to see paitents and the rest are very brumpy and careless. The receptionist can be racist at time to (asian).

Appointments constantly running behind time. Communication is quite poor - patients are told they are to ring up and confirm if the doctor is running on time, as opposed to being notified by text/call from the admin staff. Under resourced.

The wait times are a little long at times but that is because the doctors really take the time to listen to each patient. I never feel rushed and they always squeeze in my kids if they really need it, even when booked. A real family feel!

Barely even a consultation. I was in and dismissed within 2 minutes after waiting for 30+ minutes. No chance to ask questions or recieve info about recovery. The staff at the front desk were helpful and professional though.
