Couldn't be happier. Got a pretty major job done (service upgrade and panel replacement) and they were great. They got back to me when I first contacted them (which, it seems, is no longer a given in the times of COVID), they quoted a fair price and stuck to their quote. They kept me in the loop during the whole process and when it came time to do the job they performed. The job was a bit complex but they did a great job. Not only did they do it right, but it even looked good (not the most important attribute when it comes to electrical, but still nice to see). Finally, they respected all COVID protocols and I did not feel at risk at any point. Bottom line. If you want it done right, for a fair price, and for it to be an all together pleasant experience, go with Mountainside Electric. If that's not important to you, try someone else I guess?

Mountainside electric is my go to guys for any electric work. I was referred to them by my Carpenter Noel Yousie from Olive and Oak. We've used them twice now, once two years ago in our previous home. Swapping out builder pot lights with new led flood pot lights, installation of new soffit light outside under the roof shingles, and adding more ceiling light fixtures and electrical outlets. We moved recently and did similar work again last week in our new home, potlight swap, soffit light installation, light fixture addition etc. James and Josh are very friendly and professional, with a can do attitude for any work I ask them for. I love working with these guys and will use them for any future electrical work in the new house. And their quote are very competitive as well. We highly recommend this team to anyone!

We have engaged the services of Mountainside Electric over the years and they have always been an excellent company to work with. Not only are they very professional, but they always keep in mind the importance of safety when repairing or performing an electrical installation. Their staff has been always courteous and did a great job when installing lighting fixtures and dimmers in our home. Mountainside Electric was referred to me by my contractor David Bernstein. I called Josh Beckett and he and his partner, James Turner (owners) came Monday to investigate two smoke detectors which were not working. They removed them, immediately returned the defective units to their supplier and were able to get new ones for me at no charge. They came back promptly the next day and installed the new units. A very small job for them, but they were enthusiastic and efficient. I love how they use the most up-to-date technology to run their business.

We called Mountainside Electric as we needed an electrical inspection for work that was done without a permit prior to us buying our house. Josh & James arrived right on time and were very professional. They walked us through the current state of our house and pointed out a few things that needed to be addressed. We had the team from Mountainside (usually James & Josh) do the electrical work for a full main floor remodel that we did. They upgraded our panel, changed out some old knob and tube, and completely rewired our main floor. They were professional, timely, and you can tell they care about the work they do (evidenced by how organized our panel now looks). I can’t believe the 5 star reviews here. Some work started by Mountainside with the previous owners of our house so we seem tied to them. After 2 months of trying we finally got a visit in Sep (no work though!) Another 2 months later and there isn’t a report back, estimate, timeline or even a response. I hate to leave a bad revue for any business but this has been my experience and I’m honestly not even sure they are still active. ‍♂️

The entire crew came to our home for the multiple jobs we had on our list of to-do's. The ENTIRE crew were professional, polite, clean, tidy, respectful towards the client but also to their own team members. These guys did such a great job! Bought a new house and needed the electrical connections corrected because they were a copper/aluminium mix and decided to give Mountainside a try. They are great guys, nice, professional and fair. And what's more important is that there was a small problem and they corrected it, standing behind their work!! I own a small business and it's something we also pride ourselves in so I appreciated it very much. Would highly recommend!!

My neighbor gave me James' contact info when I mentioned that my garden outlet circuit breaker suddenly kept tripping and could not be reset. He diagnosed the issue as water getting into the existing outlet box, so he removed the old (non-waterproof cover) and outlet. He replaced them with a new outlet and waterproof cover. All done quickly and at a reasonable cost. I definitely recommend his service.

James and Josh were very friendly and helpful and walked me through everything I needed to know. They were quick to respond, quick to to complete the work and did a good job. They even checked in with me while I was waiting for the hydro company to complete work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend their services and will use them again in the future.
