Mrs Wong's Chinese, has been my go to for Chinese food for many years. I have never been disappointed with any dish. Always hot and very tasty. Very friendly service Always polite and always delivered quickly. The spring rolls are a must very yummy and cheap. The prices here always surprise me, still the cheapest without sacrificing the quality or quantity of all the meals. I definitely recommend Mrs Wong's for your Chinese meals. Mrs Wong's is a favourite very well known restaurant with the locals. This restaurant is always clean. Certainly a must try, for Chinese, your tummies will love this.

Ordered 4 main dishes, 2 large fried rice and soups. Not sure what quality reviews are comparing to but I was quite disappointed with the mangolian lamb, it was very red in colour almost a sweet sour sauce and veges mainly was cauliflower? terrible. The other disappointing one was the chicken corn soup, very thick, sloppy and the chicken inside looked like offcuts. The honey chicken had no crunch and was like eating a hard sponge soaked in a light honey sauce. I’ve had better honey chicken where the coating was tempura, crunchy and sticky and this one was opposite. Great customer service but food was under average.

We ordered a meal for 2 people last night and there were about 4 others also ordering after us. We were told 15 minutes so we took a walk around the block. When we came back, the crowd was larger, and 2 of the 4 people who ordered after us were still there. Another 15 minutes and everyone that ordered after us had their meals. Even some of the people who had arrived after we got back from our walk had been given their meals. Another 15 minutes and I had to ask where our meal was. Another person was also getting impatient and wanted to know how much longer it would be. When we finally did get our meal, it was missing noodles.

The food is very well cooked and rather inexpensive. Great value fir money. the only concern is the timeliness of getting your order.. They say 20 minutes but usually a lot longer. If they are busy they give priority to home deliveries and leave phone orders and walk in hanging. You get very frustrated when this happens. My tip is when you come down to collect they usually want you to pay. Say you will pay when they give the order as it gives the opportunity to walk away if they vrry late and you are not prepared to wait. If you say that it makes them work faster as they will lose an order.

The large spring rolls are full of prawns and are the best spring rolls that I’ve ever bought . You can’t buy them anywhere else. Keep them on the menu please as you are the only place that sells them.Thank you well done

Great classic Chinese takeaway. A family favourite for years. Favs are the meat spring rolls and sweet and sour pork. This is a greasy meal but thats what it is meant to be. Get a big group and order a range of dishes to try a lot at once. Prices are reasonable and what yoy would pay at most Chinese restaurants. There is also a lunch menu with specials. I got takeaway and was ready in 15-20mins. They do deliver but only at dinner time. I forgot to take photos it was that good.

Just ate here, been eating here for years, lately service has gone downhill and food is very bland with no taste, if you ask the lady at the front about your food she will just brush you off and be rude and not do anything about it, and if they do remake your food they purposely take longer and make others peoples foods first even though you payed way before any of the new people came in and they payed after you... decided not to eat here anymore plenty of other options to choose from

Been to mrs Wong’s many times for years now but, but the last two times I came here I have noticed that service has gone downhill... came here with a whole lot of friends. They made a mistake with two peoples orders. So we asked for them to be made right. We are now sitting here all of the people on the table have finished their food and these two people have been still waiting for their replacement about half an hour later. Would not recommend last time I will be coming here...

The fried rice had 3 peas,no prawns or egg it had it did have small pieces of pork in it and very dark brown.three dishes were the same the honey chicken was very dry there was hardly any sauce on the chicken i haven't had Mrs Wong's for a long time it's gone down hill i'm sorry to say or maybe they were having an off day !! Just my luck LOL

My go to chinese take away. Been going here for years. Consistently tasty and delicious food. Salt n Pepper crispy Squid, Special Fried Rice, the dim sims either fried or steamed(about $1.20 each or 6 for $6 but worthy of every cent), BBQ pork in plum sauce and garlic and chilli combination and combination chow mein are some of my partner and I's faves. The only downfalls are a minimum spend of $15 on eftpos but the food is so nice and the people there are always nice too.

Hi All, Purchased.. Sate chicken, chilli chicken, boiled rice and 6 spring rolls. Sate chicken was tasty and would get it again. Chilli chicken.. Helloooo chilli.. where were you!? Not spicy at all and would definitely not order that dish again. Spring rolls( meat variety )were good and would probably order them again. Would I go back.. Certainly, just to try something different and see how it goes. Will keep you posted when I do.

I ordered salt and pepper pork not with chilli we might have water restrictions but no complimentary water this is no restaurant or a caring takeaway place there is no seating they have there delivery driver sitting there taking up seating and clearing tables left the tables dirty for the next customers to sit on last time on giving a glass of water I would have payed for it a bottle 250 ??? The lady has no customer services .

Ordered food from here today. Looked at the online prices and placed the order. When I went to pick up the food in-store the lady said the prices have changed a month ago and that's not the price. Why have your prices online if you are not giving the food for that price. CHANGE THE PRICES ONLINE. Lady at the front counter is very rude and has to learn some communication skills. Very poor service and conning people.

First time visiting Mrs Wong's and the service with great with a friendly laugh and smile. I tried the chicken with ginger and shallots for the first time and i loved it. It also came with a decent range of veggies which means I will be coming back. The chicken and corn soup was spot on as to how I remember it being at all good Chinese restaurants. Very nice, can't wait to try more food from here.

Ordered the pork with cashews, chicken with Szechuan sauce and beef and black bean. There is a lot of vegetables that don't work well with the food. The Szechuan sauce is not authentic as it's not spicy enough. The meat is covered in corn starch which gives it a slimy texture. The price is reasonable so overall good if you'd like cheap fast food but if you want authentic Chinese look elsewhere.

I find that in whichever suburb I move to, one of the first things I seem to get to want to know is... just... THAT LOCAL GOODIE CHINESE SPOT! Unfortunately, Mrs Wong's just isn't it. Ordered meat to seafood, boiled to deep fried - various dishes and all but one dish had a taste. The rest were bland and tasteless. Hopefully this is taken as some feedback.

Give them a try. The value for money is actually very cheap & food is surprisingly tasty. The authenticity of the taste is not on the same level as your favourite chinese t/away More 3 ⭐️ than 4 ⭐️. BTW u can feed the army for a $100 Dishes have a good mix & amount of veges.

Great "western" Chinese food, and they do a fragrant (if not quite authentic) laksa. Everything is cooked fresh, and if you are looking for a great traditional takeaway Chinese you won't be disappointed. The service is prompt and friendly. The spring rolls are almost enough on their own to warrant a five star review, they are the best I've tasted.

The honey chicken is filleted, fried then cut. They aren't individual pieces of honey chicken. The sweet and sour pork was chewy. There's no other Chinese food in the area, so you take what you can get. Do not recommend but if your desperate don't say I didn't tell you.

Been ordering Mrs Wong’s food since I was little! Always the best place to get quick and delicious food. Especially love their lunch specials. Would’ve given them 5 stars but a recent argument with the lady who is obviously new, was getting our order wrong. Instead of talking politely was the rudest person I’ve dealt with.

From a little takeaway shop at the back of the mall to the Main street of Merrylands. As a former resident of Merrylands Mrs Wong's was the best go to meal after a long days work. They are always consistent in their speed of service and quality. The Sate Chicken is nice and spicy and always have fresh prawn crackers.

Good food at a reasonable price, satay chicken and Singapore noodles my pick.

Everything is good here you get a good amount of food in reasonable price but my only complaint is i ordered singapore noodles and there were only few pieces of meat (hardly 2-3 pieces).Other than that taste is amazing!!

Great chinese takeaway! Very generous serving and friendly service. Satay chicken is our family favourite. Also sweet sour pork and sang chay bow. Don't forget the deep fried entrees - little one love the prawn cutlet.

I really enjoyed eating at Mrs Wong's. The food came out very quick & it wasn't very expensive. The staff weren't very chatty and while others may not like that I found it good.

Food is simple, delicious and inexpensive. Service is friendly and food is ready in 15 mins or less. Highly recommend for a solo night in, but beware the $15 eftpos minimum.

The old lady in the counter is very rude. Food is also not good as other Chinese restaurants. I didn't like the attitude of that lady. I will never go to this restaurant.

Never had a bad dish from Mrs Wong's (no relation!). Sometimes had to wait, as they get very busy. Not greasy and everything is always fresh.

The place was nice, clean and cheap to eat. We order two dishes Hokkien noodles and Laksa, they both didn't taste well and lacked flavors.

The lady on the counter marked up the price by herself. The price for mongolian lamb should be $11, but somehow she charge $13.40 instead.
