As libraries go, it's pretty small. I don't know that I'd every come here to browse for a book, as they're not likely to have it given the selection. However, being part of the library system, it's great for getting books sent to from other libraries, all for free. I can't actually speak to it, but it very often has a large number of children participating in something, so it may be a good place to bring your kids.

If you are hoping to go to a library that is quiet, where you can work on personal or business needs then forget it. The staff were very loud discussing employee vacation calendars, how their weekend was and what their kids were up to. Speaking of kids....not one person did anything about the screaming children playing in the middle of the aisles. I guess libraries aren't what they used to be.

Hi ...I'm not used to asking for help so this might sound a little rough....my name is Katrina and ive lived here since 2014...i am homeless and last night was the worst...I have done all i could to keep my life together but I am wet...cold..frustrated and really, really at a standstill...I love it out here I will be the woman sitting outside the library in a chair

I spent quite a bit of time at this library and really feel that it is a great place to study and do work. The location is in a quite part of town and there is plenty of room inside the library to find a space to yourself to really dive into whatever project you may be working on.

Loudest library I have ever been in. Is it not a requirement to keep your voice down in a library any more? There is a small.closet-sized room marked "Quiet Room" you can go into and close the door, but I've always thought the library was

Always been a big supporter of libraries. While I don't even live in Multnomah County, I was able to get a membership to the Multnomah County library system. It's great to be able to go online and reserve a book, movie, or CD.

Has a few free to use computers that even include Office! Printing at the fair 10 cents a page (black and white at least). Yes it's pretty small. Their help desk has been nice the few times I needed it.

Wonderful location, very friendly staff (stressing that I could have a desired book sent from anywhere in the system), clearly designated topic areas...in short, a great place to find a great read!!

If u call the library, they will help u with anything! ;)!!!! Even if life does not always have answers, these people know! Sellwood is cute, call ahead for current amenities!!!!

Small, but very nice library! Lots of kids, so if you're looking for a quiet place to work, this might not be it. Still, a clean library that was nice to visit.

Staff is super helpful. Although a small library, you can get books across the whole county and email notice when books arrive for pickup.

the kids area is nice, especially for my sister. I like the bean bags and magnetic blocks. employees are often helpful and responsive.
