Saw the other positive reviews and its local so we were hoping it didnt disappoint but unfortunately on the night we dined in, the overall experience was very average if that. Food - Did not taste fresh at all, the Chicken Tikka Masala had no spice to it and tasted like Butter chicken which also tasted slightly like a packet job. We were advised later if we wanted spice, we needed to ask as all their dishes are mild but we werent advised of this prior to ordering. There are certain Indian dishes that just arent supposed to be mild. Entree - The best part, tasty and quick. Mains - Despite not being busy, it felt like an eternity to receive our order Restaurant - Yes its on the small side but we didnt find this good or bad. End of the day, we had sufficient food so thats all that mattered. Overall the waiter service wasnt bad, they were friendly but the food was the let down. Even the Cheese Naan felt undercooked and weve tasted much nicer Indian food from other restaurants. Maybe they just had a bad night but based on our experience, we couldnt recommend it

I have eaten here on many occasions before and would have recommended it to everyone that's after local Indian food but after my last experience I will never eat there again. 6 out of 7 guests at my house on Friday afternoon who ate the Indian I ordered from My Tandoori ALL experienced a severe case of gastro the following day. (All approximately 24 hours after having consumed the food.) My two friends who came to visit the following morning who were in contact with me also caught gastro. My mother who had to rush to my aid to look after my 2 children under 2 also caught gastro and now my brother and sister-in-law are currently sick with gastro. It is absolutly appalling that a local restaurant has not kept up with their hygiene standards and as a result had a total of 11 people over the past 4 days suffer from gastro which is a direct outcome of food poisoning. The manager of this restaurant has been notified and in future I will take my health and buisness elsewhere.

This restaurant should be the last choice on your list. Service is slow. Not friendly and abrupt mannerism. Food is hit and miss (most likely a miss :)). No commonsense and obnoxious, called ahead to put in an order and was given an eta of 25 minutes and asked for my phone number. I got there 30 minutes later and the food was not cooked yet. When I asked what’s the reason for the delay, he told me we forgot to ask if you wanted mild or hot! I told him that’s silly you had my number why didn’t you call me to confirm. He didn’t say anything. On top of that he went ahead and made my food super hot which wasn’t edible. That’s not the first bad experience I’ve had with them, but would definitely be my last visit. Also even though their eftpos machine works they insists on only accepting cash to avoid paying gst and tax.

What the hell happened! This restaurant was definitely the best, hands down, five star Indian food around. But the last two times I’ve ordered the butter chicken for my wife it was so spicy she found it inedible. The first time it happened I thought it must have been a mistake but it happened a second time. I’m guessing the chef has recently changed. There is no way that butter chicken should be as spicy as vindaloo, which is my favourite. I will try a third time because it has been a long-standing favourite that I would be sad to loose as a Saturday treat. Four stars for the delicious memories, stay tuned for an update, third time lucky. Definitely specify mild if that’s your bag, if spice is your thing your in for a treat.

We have ordered very regularly for years and the food had been outstanding for 8 out 10 times and the other 20% of the time it’s still decent. Lots of complaints from other reviews on late delivery but this happens when it’s a busy time so expect delays, don’t order when you are starving but order earlier. We always order the platter for two, butter chicken and cheese naan. Hardly disappointed only missing one star for their recent reduction in cheese naan size. It’s been reduced in size and thickness and less cheese - I love cheese naan so this was a disappointment all in all, great place to order takeaway as food always arrives hot for us. Cheers

Without a doubt the most spectacular Indian cuisine. I have recently discovered this hidden gem and I must emphasise how incredible their food is. I have dined in a few times and their service is exemplary as well. You have not lived a proper life until you have tasted their chicken tikka masala. I work in Sydney CBD and have tried countless Indian restaurants all over Sydney. None come close to the richness in taste and flavour of this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to! My fiance had the tandoori chicken, prawn/vegetable biryani, curry beef with mixed vegetables... All my dishes were vegetarian and absolutely delicious! Tonight was the first time I had been here. I was greeted by the lovely staff as soon as I walked through the doors, and they had my meal ready and sorted waiting for me to go. The man behind the counter was lovely and was very confident that I would love the food. Well he had a right to be so confident, the food was amazing! It was so delicious, my partner and I enjoyed every mouthful. I will 100% recommend this place to friends, family and anyone else! Thankyou for such a delicious dinner, you were right, it was wonderful and I will definitely be coming back!

Rotton chicken...i ordered chicken saag garlick naan and 2 samossa...i got charged 31$ but food was disgusting. Chicken in saag and samosa tasted really old and disgusting.it was a first and last time i tried this resturant. Feel like i got robbed..i called the resturant and spoke to the manger or a owner(not sure) and he sounded so rude and errogent. I will never ever go to them.what would be more disgusting then your chicken is moldy. I made a mistake trying them getting take away. Do not take away from them..i must say do not eat there..

The food was nice but honestly I felt sick the moment I walked into the restraunt. I should’ve walked straight out. The bald guy is so rude and doesn’t know how to speak. Also I saw a dead bug on the floor and the staff wouldn’t bother cleaning it up asif it was part of the family. The floor was just covered in filth and their tables felt sticky. It just didn’t feel clean although food was nice but o wouldn’t come here again.

My house mate paid 6 whole dollars for the mango kulfi. Indian ice cream with mango pulp. What I got was a tiny container the size of what you would get tartar sauce in from a fish and chip shop. An amount of “ice cream” the size of a small tea spoon. My house mate would never complain, but I’ve had enough beers to do so. I’ve never been more outraged in all my life! Cheesy naan was good though.

This is our favourite Indian place and we have been to plenty of places. They make the best curries especially the chicken tikka masala. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of spice. The naan bread always tastes like it’s just been baked. I could eat here everyday. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with raita, naan and steamed rice is a must!!

One of the best Indian Restaurants around. Always order pickup and food is ready before I even arrive at the restaurant. Butter chicken is great and chef is great for adjusting spice levels to suite our needs. Lamb Korma is fantastic, best i’ve ever had. The garlic Naan is also so good. Service is perfect everytime and the one time the order took a bit longer I was given a free drink. Excellent Indian restaurant. Definitely recommend!

My tandoori Indian Restaurant, a hidden little gem, serving authentic super tasty Indian cuisine. We ordered Chicken biryani, Beef Korma Garlic Naan, Raita & punyabi salad, my goodness! An explosion of flavour, delicately balanced spices and perfect quantities! We are thrilled this restaurant also happens to be our local, decently priced and service with a smile, we most definitely will be back! Highly recommended! Thank me later!

Ordering through online is cheaper?? When asked about it the girl said it's a 3rd party website and prices are different? Food wasn't that great, cheese naans were really greasy, ordered 2 different spiced butter chickens but both were the same. Lamb dish wasn't anything great or special. The lamb cutlets were probably the worst of the lot super rubbery and dry. Honestly don't think will be coming back.

Butter chicken is really nice from here but it’s just a shame that their not consistent with the amount of chicken they put in. I’ve only ever ordered from here 3 times the 1st 2 orders were great come the 3rd I only had about 6-8 cuts of chicken in there and the rest was filled with sauce. Wasn’t happy about that esp when you pay $17.90 for its own container then pay $4.00 for rice.

Indian food is my favourite cuisine by far!!! I have definitely tried plenty, even to extreme expensive in the city of Sydney. Mr Tandoori has never disappointed me and has the best flavour and balanced spices going around!!! I truly and this is from a foodie can not highly recommend this place enough. Get your taste buds ready cause it will leave you salivating, wanting more!!!

Ordered on uber eats. Cheaper than Menulog. Butter chicken mild had no spice so thank you. Mum got Goan chicken mild has just enough spice. Downer is rice is separate cost. So pricey in my opinion. Garlic naan is ok again pricey only 1 piece for $3.50. overall taste and speed of service is great. But cost for just 2 mains 2 rice and 2 naan was $57 bit much.

Authentic experience, felt like I was in the streets of India, so much so that the worker didn't even know that he worked there!! We were served food where neither of us knew what it was and too make the night perfect, we were told they only accept cash and they let us simply walk out without paying!! Would recommended if your looking for a free feed!!

I love coming here sometimes for dinner, the food is wonderful and the staff are always attentive, the food is so good and authentic indian, my children love the chicken Tandoori, and i love the masala's, your vegetarian options are alway so good, all of the curries are wonderful and tasty.

Restaurant is under new management, the owner is very polite. Food was very delicious, they also served punjabi mint chutney for which i don’t have words can say remind me India. Strongly recommended to go.

A very homely restaurant offering great service, decent portions and tasty curries! The butter chicken here is definitely a winner. It strikes a good balance between creamy, sweet and richness of spices.
