I was there for my 8am appointment; they didn't open until 5 past without any apology. My dog was wormed and didn't get a treat, although the worming immediately made her head shy to the dispenser. She usually gets a treat so I was surprised, and a bit sad because I hadn't one on myself for her (lesson learned). The lady at front desk also smelled strongly of cigarettes. Although I have had prior good appointments, this one left me frustrated and not really willing to return. I didn't feel like a valued customer. I think if you are going to book clients in for 8am you should be opening at 5 to 8, so you can at least offer a seat to your customers.

I have adopted my cat from RSPCA about 2 months ago, and the 1st month was horrendous as there was so many problems accumulating since we got him. We knew he had issues before we adopted him, and then he developed different health problems, and each time we have visited MyOwnVet to treat him. It has been brilliant. 2nd month now and my cat is no longer puking on a daily basis, itching his scab and experiencing diarrhea. I feel welcomed each time I visit as well. Sometimes it gets really busy out of no where, but I am willing to wait. :) I will keep going back because I trust their skills and wonderful customer service.

Dr Ahmed and Dr Tess are brilliant vets. They had looked after our boy right up until the very end of his life and put his health first always. Dr Tess drove out in the middle of the night for an emergency appointment and our boy was given the best care, and he was in the best and most capable hands. The entire team are kind, empathetic and passionate. Jared the practice manager is always a pleasure to speak to. All of the nurses that looked after our boy: Teneal, Lauren, Lindy and all of the others are so knowledgeable and kind-hearted. I could go on and on. You won't find a better vet anywhere else in Brisbane.

MyOwnVet clinic is THE clinic to go to. I have been taking my cats there even after I moved away from the area because they are so good. Dr Ahmed is so kind and patient and he is also not at all money-driven Vet (unfortunately like some are) but quite the opposite-he advises about the costs and suggests alternative methods if there are some, so it's all very clear and professional. The rest of the team is amazing as well- Jared, Jordan, Lindy-sorry if I miss anyone! Overall-professional team and a very pleasant experience to visit the clinic every time I go! Keep up with your great work Dr Ahmed and team!

I initially went to this practice for a second opinion and was greatly impressed with their clinical care, genuine compassion for their patients and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve the best outcome for your animals. I found Dr Ahmed to be wonderful with my beagle puppy and Dr Robin has been so caring with my chronically ill cat. Their practice manager, Jared is also super helpful liaising with insurance companies etc and emailing receipts. Prior to going on maternity leave Dr Patty also offered vetinary acupuncture in a gentle and affordable manner. Highly recommended practice.

This is hands down the best vet surgery I've ever been to. Ahmed is such a caring and understanding vet and all his staff are great. He understands that it can be financially draining and has been patient with some of my delayed payments (eg. $1000 bill taking me up to 2 weeks to pay for). He is great with all my animals and when I compared vaccination costs with greencross vets, they were over $20 cheaper here! I've been going here for around a year now and for as long as I live in the area, I will always go here. Keep up the good work!!

Ahmed truly is a compassionate, kind and incredibly gentle soul who really has a passion for animals and animal care. He and his team went above and beyond fitting us in at the last moment, letting us stay back and take all the time we needed to say goodbye to our beloved 19 year old cat. Ahmed really was very caring and truly showed compassion in our devastating situation. The whole team are wonderful and we really wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this exceptional veterinary surgery.

Last week I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let out beloved dog of 12 years be forever sleeping. Today, I received this in the mail from the vet - paw prints, some of our precious Lily’s fur and beautiful card and some flower seeds to plant as a memory. MyOwnVet is a local small vet in Moorooka. We started going here when we moved to Moorooka and even after moving away, we will always go here if it's within reason. The staff really care about your animals and will do all they can to help you/them with whatever issue ails them. Only a bit more expensive than the big chains and I would say it's worth paying a little extra to support a local, small business. Would recommend to anyone with pets

I have been coming to My Own Vet since I had purchased my dog as a puppy from the RSPCA, and I cannot recommend this vet any more. The staff are very caring, knowledgeable and understanding. Competitively priced vaccines and check ups and they always follow up and call back when required. I will only be using this vet for the rest of my pet life. Keep up the awesome work.

Blown away at how nice and helpful the team at My Own Vet Moorooka are. One example would be following an out of hours call I made regarding an accident with my dog. Super helpful in directing us on what to do then following up with calls (on a Sunday) to see how he was. Making sure he is getting the best post accident care too. Can't recommend them enough!

Never met such an amazing team. My little man absolutely loves coming to see the MyOwn Team. I am beyond greatful for all the help I have received from eye surgeries to ear infections. We have had some really good experiences from myownVet. It’s never easy to goto the vets when it’s bad but the doctors and staff go the extra mile and then seemingly keep going to help you out. We've had such a good experience with this clinic. We had our cat desexed & immunised. They also helped when our dog was sick. Lovely, caring staff. They are very good at sending appointment reminders and have always given the impression of being organised and accommodating. They gave us a cute little records book for our cats medical history too!

We had to send Bella our dog to Rainbow Bridge yesterday. They came to our home and were gentle and compassionate to Bella and the family. The vet even gavevBella a few treats before she passed on. We weren't hurried and we're given time to say our goodbyes before she was taken away. Thank you.. We will use you again if we get another animal.

Amazing team @My Own Vet. Fit my dog in as an emergency paitent. They were so busy but still managed to fit her in and do a thorough check and aproiate treatment. Would highly recommend. My own vet wouldn't fit us in despite 15yrs of using them. I have now transferred my dog to My Own Vet as primary care physicians.

Such a lovely little Veterinary Clinic. Our cat Cuddles is such a timid and stressed out cat and does not like the vets at all. Dr Robin took good care of her and made sure that she was ok. They went above and beyond, staying back late to see us when we arrived with an emergency just before closing time.
