As they say, I would leave zero stars if I could!!! Recently I purchased a pair of genuine leather Birkenstocks online during an end of season sale. I wore them only a handful of times before bad weather kicked in. I pulled them out this summer and noticed as I started to wear them the cork is cracking and separating from the suede foot bed. This has never happened with any of my other birks and I’ve never had damage like this on the sole after not even a season of wear. When I contacted my shoe shop they told me aside from paying out of my own pocket to mail them back so they could do glue them, (which I can do myself) there’s nothing they would do. Not even a - here’s $10 off your next purchase, sorry for your trouble- nothing!! After a few emails were exchanged and photos were sent they stopped replying, I sent a follow up email to be sure and no reply. They just stopped answering. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service and it goes without saying I will not shop here again. And worth mentioning, I also contacted Birkenstock. They did nothing to help as the shoes were purchased through a retailer. I hope my situation is an exception and not an example of the quality of their shoes overall these days. But if you’re thinking of spending $200 on a pair of sandals hoping they will last, it may be worth purchasing directly from the manufacturer. In response to the owners reply… you are correct, a manufacturers defect would occur very soon after I started wearing them which is what happened. I made the mistake of purchasing the shoes at an end of season sale (just 1 year ago) and I did not wear them until the following summer. The cracks did appear within two weeks of wearing them daily. As per the photos I sent, which your company asked for and then did not acknowledge, there were 4 cracks on the shoes, none of which are tiny. I have glued them twice this summer and can confirm that the cracks continue to reappear and the cork is separating from the footbed in these areas. I definitely find this unacceptable after less than a year on $200 shoes! But as you said, this style is prone to that type of disrepair and for a lot of consumers that IS DEFINITELY a manufacturers defect! Regardless of the shoes, the response and service from this company was terrible and I maintain my recommendation to others to avoid shopping here. Especially for the end of season sales! Not worth the very small savings.

I was a first time buyer of Birkenstocks and was a little hesitant about the look but I was desperate for comfortable sandals. I had seen prices on the web, but thought I should try them on to better understand the fit. Adrianna, the sales person, was pleasant, professional and competent. She spent about 45 minutes introducing me to Birkenstocks ( they have an AMAZING selection!) and I ended up buying them here. I believe the prices are set by the company and most stores sell them at similar prices. I must admit, I could have bought them on the web for quite a bit cheaper, but I would not have gotten the personalized service. I believe that is worth something, and I will not use them and go buy on the web. That is unethical to me. I highly recommend supporting this local business.

I have never been to this location, but I did recently use their online store. I live in BC and needed new sandals for work. I have always worn Arizona style Birks, but my job requires me to wear sandals with a back strap if I want to wear sandals. I did not want to pay for duties if I could, and I couldn't shop around in person because of stay at home orders, so I found this Canadian company to order from. My new sandals arrived in less than a week with free expedited Canada Post shipping. I'm not sure if this is something only during quarantine, but I really hope it isn't. I can see myself buying my Birks this way for the rest of my life. So easy.

Nous étions mon conjoint, ma fille et moi pour acheter deux paires de sandales (mon conjoint et moi). La personne qui nous a servi nous a offert un très bon service. Nous avons passé une heure dans le magasin car après s’être occupée de moi, la conseillère a servi mon conjoint (au lieu qu’une autre employée s’en occupe à la place d’être sur son téléphone).

I was looking for assistance regarding product info and a repair. The sales woman was very defensive, rude and dismissive . The two other young ladies were quiet and I found the atmosphere cold and judgmental. I did not feel comfortable at all and I found the lady offended by the fact that I was inquiring about a defect in a pair of shoes purchased at her store. My mother was looking around and she did not offer her any assistance but insisted on keeping close to her. I will not be returning.

My wife went to buy some shoes and was told to wait as they were at capacity and there was no one who could serve her. She waited for 15 minutes while other people walked in and were not told to wait, and were immediately attended to. At 10 minutes there were only 2 customers in the store and 2 employees chatting, completely ignoring my wife. After 5 minutes of waiting while they obviously ignored her for no reason except they did not wish to help her, she left. Please do better.

This is the first time my wife and I purchased off the shelf Fin Comfort orthopedic shoes. I am very satisfied with their customer service, especially Ms. Isabelle took her time to explain and answer all my questions and concern over phone before we put our online orders. I'll definitely continue with my future purchase with this great store and recommend my friends and family. A little suggestion is that, they could improve their fulfilment process to minimize longer delay.

Très déçue! MISE À JOUR: Après avoir vu mon commentaire, ils m'ont appelé personellement pour s'excuser. Il y avait eu une confusion avec l'horaire des fêtes. Le suivi a été apprécié!

This area seems to have some good shoe shops. This place has excellent service, although strange business hours so be sure to check the day and time beforehand. They have some excellent brands made in Germany, Italy and Spain, just amazing quality that last and all for very reasonable prices. Size selection is iffy as they don't carry a lot of stock it seems.

I went to buy Blundstones.. after so many tries I could barely get my feet through! And Shannon patiently helped me try different sizes but alas! Then went on to give suggestions and took time to understand my preference amd finally I came back happily with a pair of Gabor shoes.. although I have not heard of this brand it feels good to wear.

I was so pleasantly surprised by myshoeshop.ca! I placed on order online, and it arrived to my door in less than 48 hours. I was a little hesitant, since I had never ordered anything from myshoeshop.ca before, but their excellent selection (including narrow sizing) and quick service have won me over. I'll be a returning customer!

Very good service when I bought Birkenstocks. When I returned them 3 days later, the store owner didn't want to take them back because you could see where my toes had been, even if he told me to wear them for a week or so to break them in. He finally took them back but was extremely impolite. I will absolutely not go back there.

Walked in at 4:50 ‘just so you know we close in like 3 minutes’. I tried on one pair of boots. They locked the door at 4:55. I asked a couple of questions ‘ you can always check out our website or come back another time’. Not the best experience really. It’s now 5:04. Thanks for kicking me out of the store

Bought a pair of sandals for my 2 yo in april. She wore them for a wk then and she's been wearing them for the last 2 wks. All the insole is coming apart on the front. Went back to the store....the only solution they had involved making me pay more money! Very bad service and quality for the price!

The saleswoman was defensive, passive aggressive, judgemental and incompetent. She repeatedly persuaded me to take a ridiculously large size since smaller sizes were not in stock. I would not trust the sellers' recommendation whatsoever. If you know what you need go there. If not, don't bother.

The best experienced with returns I've had so far. I returned a pair of sandals I had bought in the wrong size and in a matter of a single day after I sent them by the post office, I had a new pair which were perfect. The staff was very helpful, professional and most of all, efficient.

The store has a great selection of Haflinger clogs. I was especially impressed with their same day processing of my mailed return. So many online stores take 10-14 days to give you your money back and then you have to call to enquire. Thank you for thinking of your customers.

I bought a pair of big buckle Madrid’s 2 years ago and still I can’t wear them they are sooo stiff I get bad blister every time I wear them. I figure 2 years is darn long enough to still be struggling. And ZERO customer service!!! I will Never buy from this company again.
