Unethical and threatening me because i wanted a refund. Said they won't refund unless I remove all negative reviews. Said they would throw in a "nice gift" too. Called me a liar. Once I put the complaint through Ebay, they immediately gave me a refund. Buy at your own risk. Their products are cheap and dodgy. If you need to buy, make sure it's through eBay so when things go wrong and they try to weasel their way out of it, you have eBay protecting you. UPDATE I didn't add this in at the time because the way Mytopia treated me was scary. I notified eBay that mytopia used my personal information to spam me with threatening phone calls throughout the day, demanding me to remove my negative review. After further research I discovered this was a common tactic they used and ebay turns a blind eye because of the high number of transactions they get from Mytopia.
I bought scooter from them in Dec 2018. Used it less than 5 times each month. In July 2019 it stopped working. They offered to upgrade to the new scooter which I did (not like I have a choice because they wouldn't refund). And again I only used it a few times and it stopped working. NOW they said the warranty of this new upgraded scooter doesn't start in July 2019 (when I got it) but instead started in Dec 2018 when I bought the previous one. HOW RIDICULOUS IS IT? Yet they again offered me to spend more money on upgrading another one which has no warranty since warranty starts from dec 2018 ~ ends in dec 2019 ... And now it is Feb 2020. Does it make any sense? Is it how they run their business ? I wish I read their reviews before I bought it. People complain about their service everywhere.
Purchase a BBQ via their eBay store. Communication, tracking information and delivery company attrocious. Charged $544 delivery for BBQ. Other suppliers, similar BBQ size and weight only charge $100 - $200 max, so for $544 I expect exceptional service. Nope. Communication via email via eBay was hopeless. Replies were nonsense. eBay tracking said delivery one date, their emails a week or so later and item description said freight company would call before delivery... They didn't, and instead just left the $1600 BBQ unattended at the front of my yard. I came home from work and was shocked to see it there. It was in solid cardboard. Item is as described. Communication just really poor. Shame, because item is value for money and prompt well packaged delivery.
Bought a 12w kids ride on car from them, never worked very well... Not much longer after my purchase , power went down the hill. Contacted them, explained and been answered that I should have get another battery like it was normal that their one would have last a very little time (basically they did not care at all about my complain). Got another battery (obviouisly not from them) car had a little bit of a new life, within 2 weeks one of the 2 wheels completely stopped working and with a single wheel spinning the car is pretty much useless. Thank you very much Mytopia for the shallow quality and the poorest service ever.
I love Mytopia store! I've bought many products from them over the past 10 years. (Usually via their store on ebay) Both the range and the prices are excellent! I also love that they have the option to pickup from one of their warehouse outlets. Their support and returns policy is also very good. I've had to return 2 things in the past decade. One, because it wasn't suited to my needs and the other because the courier broke it, (i.e not their fault but their delivery contractors fault) and they were very supportive each time.
I ordered an item and it has still not been shipped nearly two weeks later, meaning I now wont have it for Christmas. When I asked for a refund on my $167 shipping all they could offer me was $50. When trying to contact their customer service team about my item, it took over 4 days for someone to get in contact with me after countless emails and phonecalls. I have never received such terrible customer service and will NEVER use MyTopia again or recommend it to others!!!
i had a problem at the beginning when i purchased a spa and it stopped working and i got pretty wound up and apologise for my part in that mix up but having liaised with a lovely lovely young lass (Kaitlinn) and working through the problems with me we had it sorted she is a very level headed young lass and a please to deal with.super happy with the service and the correspondence and tech advice i give them 5 stars....cheers folks
I bought an electric car for my son for his birthday which was on the 10th of January 2020 I did everything according to the manual the car didn’t turn on, up till now my son is not using it and it’s useless in my house. I sent several emails to their support team nobody responded to any of my emails. Please be careful when you order from this store. I will never recommend anyone.
Staff were helpfull at sevenhills and even more helpfull at penrith pickup Showroom is bare with nobody to answer questions Ebay has cheaper prices than onsite Better to get free delivery than pay a $20 fee for picking up. Ebay codes only work by ordering 1 item at a time For ebay discount and pay by paypal individually. Online store ok if you are sure of what you are ordering.
Bought a desk and chasing it up now for more than 10 days, Delivery company sent the desk from Sydney to Melbourne and it shows that they will send it back to Sydney from Melbourne again while delivery is for Canberra. corresponded with customer services few times who just simply replying with excuse rather than chasing the item and talk to Hunter Express. So disappointed.
I'd give less, if I could. I ordered a walker, and it hadn't arrived, so I contacted them. They said it was a pre-order, which it wasn't. Said it was available, and shipped within 24hrs. It finally arrived, and I found it too hard for me to fold, and unfold. They said I couldn't return it, because the "box had been Compromised". Awful customer service. They said I
Purchased outdoor cabinet - parts missing - poor quality materials - poor service - took way to long to resolve - initial customer service was more like automated responses - wasn't sure I was actually dealing with anyone as you can't talk to anyone on the phone - all has to be done through the website.... AVOID THIS BUSINESS
Appalling Customer Service, tried to scam and rip me off, it is a Dodgy company, they don't even have a telephone number to call - would you buy from an anyone you can not call, and has no shop front - that is dodgy - You can only email for help, and they give a standard email back. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!
Do not buy from this company!!! After sale service does not exist in this company, bought item became faulty after just few months as it is still under 12 mths warranty. Was asked by Mary to send pic or video of issue and finally told nothing covered by them. Pray if you buy and at your own risk!!!!
I am currently in dispute with this company over a piece of fitness equipment I ordered and paid for on 1st Dec for a Christmas gift , it has not arrived despite the company telling me it has . They have a couple of days to redeem themselves , I will keep you posted . Thus far appalled!
Ordering online is fast and easy .. Picking up your order is slow and annoying . The extra cost of delivery is well over the top, but the slow process of picking it up almost worth paying the extra not having to deal with the unfriendly and couldn't be bothered staff at the warehouse.
Don't waste your time with this company. They give you the run around and make you wait extensively for replacements and refunds. So frustrating. On my 4th electric scooter with these guys with my last one faulty straight out of the box for the second time.

Spent hours trying to buy a product. After writing to the support people, they say the product is out of stock and cannot say when (if at all) it will be available. There was no "out of stock" on the item. I don't trust their platform.

Phone system is really bad can’t get through and only want to ask a simple question. The options are terrible and can never get through to speak to someone.

Stay away from Mytopia, they are price gougers. I bought a spare part for a bike I got from them and they charged me 5x the normal market price.
Worthless and defective product, bought a e-bike for $1000. But the bike was really defective and would even work. All my money went to drain.
Good experience. Not yet the Customer Centric approach that will lead to more sales but dealing with the general public is painful.
