So I'm at NAB Plenty Valley, waiting in the queue for the 2 tellers to serve 2 customers that were already there...I waited to be served for 10 minutes whilst these tellers were having a nice lonnnnnng casual conversation about everything except banking business - no sense of urgency for the other customer in the queue whatsoever. Then one of the tellers comes out and starts closing off the branch, and I'm told that I have to leave for security reasons and I have to come back IN 10 MINUTES. THE OTHER CUSTOMERS WEREN'T TOLD TO LEAVE - Noooo they continued to have a lovely convo! I left and I'm seriously taking my accounts with me and NEVER RETURNING. I come out of work to do some banking and that's how it goes?? REALLY?? Do these tellers think that people have all the time in the world and they are the only people working???!!! Do you call the above effective, efficient customer service??? I think NOT. AND I should know, I spent 20 years in the banking industry!
Lazy and rude. Staff seem to have no interest in working. The branch itself is inadequately staffed. No sense of hurriedness. The two tellers were very nice albeit, they were slammed with too many customers while the available employees were taking an awful lot of time to deal with simple tasks. Banking at a branch should be seamless. It should not be an ordeal for a customer to take time off their day only to be mooted with service abhorrence. If the staff are not passionate about their work, may be replaced them with someone who is. Nab management should take cognizance of the dismal ratings on Google. For an organisation like NAB, formal complaints via your customer feedback lines should not be the only channel for identifying actionable feedback.
Pathetic. 2 staff only, then both required for 10mins to help 1 customer, with 8 people queued up. 9:45am 15mins queued to be told they won't accept a coin deposit- return in 30hrs to try again, no coin bags offered Customer service is non-existent, just profits Update: Returned today to attempt deposit again, again refused to do so. Was.told it was bank policy, nab stated no, branch policy due to 'security concerns' but will handle notes no issue Original complaint dismissed by nab without any contact, new complaint lodged, next step is banking ombudsman Can't give lower than 1 star to this criminal business who avoided over 70k+ charges of $$ laundering etc
We went to branch to do KYC which took them two hours. It's frustrating how you get transferred from one teller to the other just like call centre. Manager went inside after taking all documents and came back half hour later. In total it took about two hours just to do KYC. Just unacceptable customer service where things are moving online. NAB Plenty Valley really need to have more staff to assist their customers.
Shame on you NAB Plenty Valley for closing at 12.30pm, we may be in lockdown but the banks are an essential service, it is a Friday afternoon and the line was out the door with everyone waiting to use the one machine that was working, every second person needed help to either use them or see a teller as not tech savvy, every other bank was open. Not impressed if this was due to the big bosses cutting costs.
2 tellers, while there is a line out the door and a dozen plus people waiting. What kind of a joke is this? It's like nab have thought how can we make the experience as painful as possible, and then actioned those ideas. After 20 minutes of waiting, I get to the counter to find out only one teller is actually serving people. What a joke, it's 1 pm and ive stood in a bank line for over 20 minutes.
They have just renovated the branch. We thought the customer service was gonna changed and be better. We went there and we waited long in a queue to open an everyday account. When we reach the teller they told us to go back after an hour there is no one in the branch that time because we are the last on the line. Worst customer service ever..
I would give minus stars if i could. No branches near where i live. Went epping only to find out Atms not working. Came to Nab plenty valley only to see one Atm not working and one not taking deposits!! Line is out the door with only 2 tellers!! I’ve being a customer for well over 20 years NAB, i think its time for me to make a change
All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I find the people who tend to write negative reviews when it’s clearly untrue may have an issue with themselves. I have been to this branch over 20 times in the last year and I’ve always been greeted with a smile, a friendly chat and get the banking service I expect.
I waited 30 minutes in line today to deposit some cash. The staff were too busy having a chat and so, so slow, it was like watching people in slow motion. Get your stuff together NAB, have more tellers. Experiences like this make me want to change banks back to Commonwealth, never had this issue with them.
The most laziest and rude staff at the branch. A young girl and a teller, not empathic to aged pensioners. Can not photocopy a trust deed correctly and then master after a week call to come in branch again as they missed to copy 4 pages. Improve your standard of customer service and product knowledge.
Never got here, they will completely misguide you. I met banker named Tisha, who was very unprofessional and completely out of mind and no care for customer. just wanted to finish, she gave wrong advise. I have raised complaint with NAB and I will update here on the reponse from bank.
It's not the staff's fault, but seriously if you have queues out the door, 20 people long, management need to do something. I'm sure they wouldn't wait in a supermarket line that long without complaining, why is a bank any different? Get a manager on the floor to help!
We r been waiting almost 42 min with one person working here. Always the same. Long wait people coming and going and workers going to the back for 5-10 min at a time!! Never see more than one human person at a time. All the glass rooms also empty. Terrible service!!
Extremely slow customer service. No floater staff to ask customers in queue why they were there to possibly help with services through ATM rather than wait for teller service. Disgraceful! I certainly wouldn't be interested in banking with NAB
Terrible service. Always long waits clearly under due to bearing clearly understaffed. Use this bank for work, was going to use them for my mortgage but will definitely not. Staff that are there are rude most of the time.
Worst experience ever had to wait in que for 45 minutes while one teller was to busy socialising 2 tellers just isn't enough for a busy Nab locacated in a shopping centre, first and definitely the last.
Just awful. Longest i have ever waited at any bank. Thank goodness this is not my bank and i needed to go in for someone else. Everyone else that banks here should go to another bank. Just terrible .
Staffs are not willing to help, keep say go home, some rude. Not enough staff, poor management, poor training. I don’t understand from bank in my dream how come it turned to this way.
Excellent service by Fay! She was extremely helpful, kind and patient and was a pleasure to deal with. It was refreshing to have great service which is so hard to find nowadays!

Paranoia bank with fraudulent transactions. Even when I transfer my money to commonwealth Bank account (same name as owner) they blocked my internet banking account

Came in the early morning for a bank check. Two cashiers but one young lady can’t do it. Waited for 30 mins.
Worse NAB branch. Shame they can't be like the Northland branch, actually care about their customers.
Once been asked to go to other branches just because their are short staffed. Not good experience.
