The worst service that I have ever experienced in a bank. Attitude of staff very poor. Went to the Whittlesea branch at 10.30am. I was the only person in branch (a customer was leaving as I walked in) and two NAB staff were working. They asked me what I wanted before I got to the desk. I replied that I wanted to make a deposit. They told me to go outside and deposit it through the ATM or go to Australia Post, or I could put the deposit in an envelope and have it processed later. I needed the deposit processed straight away, plus it was pouring rain outside and windy so why would I want to be standing outside in the cold in front of an ATM not knowing what the hell I was doing. The NAB staff said that they were reluctant to serve me as they were about to close the bank but I told them that their closing time was 12.30pm. This was 10.30am in the morning! I said to them that the amount of time that they were arguing that I could go "elsewhere" to deposit money could have been better spent on handling the transaction which would be less than 5 minutes and then I would go. The staff member then said - oh we are only trying to help you with different options, in case we are closed. I guess they realised that I would not be leaving until they processed my deposit. I said to them that I normally do not deal with this branch, but just happened to be in the area. I was made to feel like I was a burden to them - just asking them to process a deposit and to provide an explanation as to why I was in their branch. Hello... aren't you meant to be serving your customers? Very disappointing experience. Will not be coming back and will be taking my business elsewhere to another bank that treats their customers with respect and courtesy.

Was there only one time and was not impressed with the attitude of the staff. When I withdrew some cash in the bank I was not asked for identification to prove who I was. At other I know I'm banks that I've attended to they have all those daft for identification to prove who I am when was drawing cash. This is totally understandable has the bank staff of the other branches that I do not commonly attend. I'm definitely not impressed of how I was treated at this branch and the lack of security checks.
