My first time ever giving a review. This is not a good place to get shellac. It didn’t even last a week, and this was the second time this happened(I told the owner). The first time I thought I was on vacation and I was in water a lot that’s why my Nails started chipping but I went there again because I had a gift card. My nails started chipping in less than a week. I’ve been getting shellac done for the last few years now but this place is the worst place to get it done. I don’t know about the other services. So I complained after 5 days getting my nails done and told them that I’m only complaining because I have a gift card and don’t want to keep coming back there. It cost me time and $$ every-time I had get them done. When I get shellac it always lasts for about 3 weeks for me. So she gave me my the difference back whatever was left on my gift card and just denied that they are not chipping. It’s happening because I chose a very milky colour as per owner!

I called earlier that day wanting to make an appointment for 3 pedis at 3:30pm, the lady on the phone told me they could do 4:15pm. I agreed gave my name and phone number then went along with my day. When entering the nail salon it was PACKED. Noticing such we offered to leave as they were busy and they kept having appointments arrive. They assured us that every would be find. Meanwhile another lady who also had an appointment left and came back… all in the same time we were there. During the pedicure the service provided was mediocre at best along with not very friendly. I clearly had an uncomfortable Ingrown toenail that need some help and it was COMPLETELY ignored even though it was mentioned before the service even started. Very disappointing as I am and my family are new to the area and heard amazing thing from other friends and family. Frankly we will not be returning.

I am honestly not the type to go out of my way and leave a review, however I am genuinely upset. I called to originally remove my nails since I had broken a nail, however on my arrival I asked for a professional opinion and was told I could keep them. She began to apply my acrylic nail on and the application was very sloppy and bumpy. I voiced my concern she asked her co-worker to fix it and her response was “no I can’t”. I responded by saying if you guys can not do it I can come back I don’t want to be unhappy with the result. Long story short. They did not do a good job looked like two different nails. I was cut in the process and rushed. Honestly DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I wish I could shout from a mountain top about this amazing salon. Martin is the most gentle loving man and he always does my gel nails perfectly! I love the fact that with as many customers as he deals with he always remembers my name and the length and shape and colours that I like my nails! If you want a pedicure of all pedicures you have to ask for Katabi, She does not miss a thing, and she takes all the time in the world to make sure your feet are beautiful and you are relaxed before you leave!! Best leg and foot massage ever!! You are part of the family when you come here, not just a number and I truly love this family

The worse place ever, went with my daughter for pedicure and manicure and my daughter 13 years was asking the girl for French pedicure and a design of flower so she convinced her to switch to regular nail polish with no design and no finishing up her nails and didn’t do the normal cleaning and when I asked her why you switched and why you don’t do the flower she answered laughing in a sarcastic way that she explained everything to my daughter and she’s accepting that and she was rushing to do her manicure as she has another unscheduled customer. Don’t recommend at all.

I brought my out of town sister in law for a manicure and pedicure. Two issues first the person doing the pedicure cut 3 of her grown nails before asking what she wanted done with them so all nails had to be cut. Her pedicure started to peel within hours but I could not get her back there because she was heading out of town. She said the person put two coats of polish than hardener but than put a 3rd coat of polish over that . Very disappointed as we have used their services and never has issues before. Now we r unsure of going back.

I wouldn't recommend going here for a pedicure at all. The young girl who did my pedicure pumice my feet for maybe 15 seconds and said my feet were fine and soft. The next day after all the oil they used went away, all along my side of my feet were still full of old dry skin. I did call on the friday to make a formal complaint and I never got a call back. Safe to say I will NOT recommend this place to anybody I know. Customer service says it all about a business and this one is a straight 0.

I went to my appointment around 5:45 pm and Nancy’s closes at 7pm. The girl did my pedicure and shellac nails SOOO RUSHED. I could feel the intensity of her trying to finish super fast, she got the color wrong and just painted over it! Additionally, I felt rushed out of the salon and felt the need to walk in the snow with my bare foot painted nails. The only reason I don’t give this a one star is because I have been here before and some know how to provide great costumer service

This is definitely my new go to salon! I have been all through Orleans and have never found a place I was super happy with! I had an acrylic fill and gel colour done by a very friendly and professional nail technician named Gina! She took her time and made sure each nail was perfect! You can definitely tell she has been doing this for a while because her attention to detail was fantastic! I absolutely recommend this place!

Nancy Nails has never disappointed! I go to them to have my acrylic nails done at least once a month, every month. I’ve used several of their services including : eyebrow wax, pedicure, etc. All the staff are friendly and helpful, they make each appointment great. I just recently saw Celine for my nails and I am so happy with them!

I always have great service here. I usually get the gel or acrylic nails and they have always been spot on. I don’t know how they do it, but they almost look like my natural nails (not too thick and not so thin that they break immediately). I go pretty far out of my way to come here, and they never disappoint!

I’ve been to this salon many times and went there today for a manicure with shellac. Zeena, a lovely young lady, did my nails. She matched the colour I wanted perfectly, was quick with prefect technique, as well as being a very wise and kind person. I would highly recommend this salon for any service.

I went in for a manicure- shellac. The man who did my nails was kind and friendly. I could tell he had a lot of attention to detail. He made sure every area of my nail was perfect. Prices were fair, and the manicure shellac only took about 50 minutes (which is nice when you don't have a ton of time.)

I had a manicure done by Darlene today and I just had to leave a review! I gave her a challenge when I came in wanting to match a picture I found on the internet of an ombre effect and she really "nailed" it! She was also so kind and didn't rush it at all. I will definitely be back.

I had called and booked an appointment but at my arrival they didn’t have space and told me to come back in 3h, I told them I couldn’t come back later so they did my nails and the guy cut my finger and made me bleed, and the nails were very thick and poorly done. I do not recommend.

We went as a family to get miniatures and pedicures, and all of us were taken care of so nicely. We have been coming here for years to see Nancy and are never disappointed. The pedicures were so nice, and they were able to accommodate 6 people at once.

This was my first time getting a manicure and Gina walked me through the different types of nail treatments. She was great at explaining each one . In the end I was very happy with the end result . Will definitely be going back.

This is the first time i come out of a nail salon without finding any small mistake! The lady took her time and did my nails with so much attention to details! I was so happy with the result! Will go there now every time!

Very pleased with my pedicure. Clear attention to detail. Staff work hard and all had masks on while providing services. Their phone was ringing off the hook while I was here, clearly people like it here!

I love visiting this salon! Love the family business aspect and always so accommodating with my busy schedule. They do a fantastic job and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for nice nails.

The service was OK in general. They accepted more customers than they should at the time. On the positive, they charged me only $30 for the shellac manicure tho I had extra demands about nail designs.

I’ve been going to Nancy’s Nails (portobello location) since it opened...I’m not a regular but when I have needed to get anything done, I go here because of the service and good prices.

Nice salon. Massage chairs were fine, very good selection of polish cours in regular and shellac. Very clean application. Pedicure was well done. Foot and leg massage were awesome!

Worst place ever, specifically ask for one colour, did the wrong one, took 3hr to redo with harch product, ruined my nails and charged me anyway, do not go there ever!!!!

Unless you know them personally or are friends with them, don't bother making an appointment. I went in for my scheduled time and they had taken 2-3 people ahead of me.

Nancy is the best and her employees are good as well. She is meticulous and so professional! Finally I found a place where I will come from now on. Best place!

Sent an inquiry to them regarding my nails and if they would be able to do them the way my usual nail person does and never got a reply. It's been 2 weeks.

This is my go to nail salon. I have never had a bad experience. The nail technicians are pleasant and the salon is spotless. I have been going to 2 years.

I always had trouble finding a good place to go get my nails done and i found Gina she is so amazing and talented never going to see someone else!!

They're amazing, and my nails are always beautiful. However due to that they're always super busy, so dont expect to be able to have any walk-ins.

Excellent service!!! I got my nails done with powder dip, I absolutely love it. They did a wonderful job, I will be definetly be going back.
