I have not been to this particular branch in over 2yrs. I used to enjoy everything about it before, the service, cleanliness and food. However when I went there last week it was a totally different ball game. The service was great, the staff was very friendly. However my chicken was very wet, not sure how to describe it,not raw but wet. Have never had anything like that, as if it was laying in water. My peri peri wedges was over cooked and luke warm. It did not look or taste fresh. The coleslaw was 90% cabbage, almost no carrots so it had a bitter taste. The garlic roll was very crusty, dry. There was no soap in the dispenser or sanitiser. At the wash basin by toilets there was white buckets standing with wet cloths and the toilets was smelling very strongly of urine. I have never complained about a Nando's before,not once but this one! Was the worst ever. I will not be returning. Their standards have dropped big time. What a pity. Not sure if it's new management but definitely poor management.

The shop layout is good compared to some in the northern suburbs. The service was excellent because the lady said 10 mins and we got our order before 10 mins. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is very good. While other fast food restaurants dropped its standards... Nando's kept delivering. We order either mild or lemon and herb because of the kids... The whole chicken is never dry... Sampled a few now and it is spot on every single time... The chips are now up their with the best... The spicy rice is good and the hot pot is awesome... Even the coleslaw surprised me... I think the size of the servings cannot be overlooked... In SA where others are going for the bare minimum... Nando's still provide excellent, decently priced, and good size portions... Definitely becoming a permanent fixture of our household.

Got our order wrong and another table's order from what I noticed. We ordered and paid for 1½ birds, only got 8 pieces of 1 bird. We counted the pieces infront of the waiter and enquired about the rest of our order? The food was good & to normal standard, it was just the tardy service. We then waited forever for a doggy bag so that we could leave. Waitor seemed new.

We love the vegetarian patty that Nandos uses to replace the pulled chicken in the Avo & Halloumi Boujee Bowl with Pulled Chicken. This meal is amazing, drizzled with my favourite Nandos Wild Herb sauce.

Use to love this nandos. Not sure if management has changed, but the service lately has been quite awful. I ordered ubereats, it was late - I called them to hear whether they are making it (at this point, Uber drivers kept changing because of how long they were waiting). Got told that by some random worker that it’s the Ubereats problem, and I told him that’s impossible. Got on the phone with the manager who realised they messed up. This was the second time that my order has been so badly delayed that ubereats had to cancel it - and I am not ordering at a busy time. It’s poor customer service.

Probably the Worst Service I've ever received from a Nando's Store. Really Disappointed! 1 person behind the counter taking orders and then to top it off he doesnt really listen to what you asking him and he pulls up his nose and clears his throat while you speaking! Disgusting to say the least. The waiting period for the 2 Hot Pot and Rice and Chips was over a 30mins even though there was just 1 lady before we who was already waiting for you her meal when I came in to order. Very sloppy and staff dont really care that you waiting they just carry on with their own conversations. I wont buy from this store again.

We've only ever gotten take-out here, but they have a decent seating area. The food is always great, except that the chips aren't as crispy as I'd like - though I'm not sure if that's because they've been boxed for too long while the mains are being prepared or if it's simply from the drive home. Nando's is better/healthier than your average fast-food, the drawback being that the food does take a little bit longer to be prepared. Thankfully there is a comfy waiting area and funky décor which makes for a more pleasant wait. It's quite noisy in there though, which made it hard for the cashier and me to hear one another, but she was thorough and friendly so there were no problems in the end.

The staff are extremely rude...standing around chewing gum ignoring you as you arrive to pick up your order....I had to call her 3 times even though she saw me and then finally got her to give me my meal....I could have stood there for ages....she was leaning against the counter chewing wildly with no interest at all. I must say this is not the first time...the staff need a wake up...their attitudes are bad and they not happy to be there and serve. I'd go to another one because of that....I think I'll do the drive through in Kraaifontein rather...maybe better service and friendlier staff. Oh and the place is very dirty.....they need to do something very quickly to clean that place up.

I have not eaten at Nando's or eaten Nando's for a little over 3 years and I must say there are many good additions like, choice of coleslaw, rice or beetroot with meals, excellent in any manner. Taste is still consistent, which is awesome. One thing though, I am very disappointed in the size of the chicken portions, the 1/4 chicken of my chicken meal I ordered, to be quite blunt, seemed to suffering from anorexia, no disrespect, it's the way I feel. Other than that, nice atmosphere, staff is patient and friendly. Loads of good things at Nando's Edward Street. Please consider to upsize your portions though.

I am usually patient, I give the time of day especially when I could see the chaos in the expediting section. Here's the reality, there was an order of 20 chickens before me. 10 minutes into my wait they let me know that they had not realised that they had to make more chicken in the oven. I mean it does not take a rocket science degree to realise that if 20 chickens are going out 20 more need to be prepared. I have now been sitting here for 30 minutes waiting for chicken. All the tickets on they system are red. Like that is not great service or management.

Nandos are crazy. After the Durban Florida Rd trip I wanted to assure myself I wasn't prejudiced only to land at Belleville where a quarter chicken for R49 comes with a pack of chips and a full chicken and chips costs R104. Maths says if a quarter is R49 a full should be about R180 and Melkbos PnP proved me right with their roasted full chicken at R89 and 2 roasted full chickens at R135. It tasted good without using the nandos mouth sanitizer or sauce to hide the poor chicken.

There's a self-appointed car guard who is filthy, walks in and out of the restaurant and pesters customers and whoever parks in the vicinity, makes annoying remarks should you avoid him.

Nandos has always been one of my favorites. Their burgers are solid breast meat which in this day and age are a premium product worth the extra cost. I had a cheese and chicken wrap, it was very tasty but way too much cabbage and not enough chicken. It would seem that cost cutting is getting to all brands. Their peri peri fries were delicious and lots of peri seasoning, which is great!

I'm a bit torn about this one. The staff are really friendly, the food is really nice but I waited 45-1hr for a take out order. I ordered 2 kiddies veggie meals and 1 veggie wrap. The staff know that the veggie burgers take longer to prepare because they are frozen and yet instead of putting those on the grill first while they prepare other food they first complete all the sit down orders, all the delivery orders and then only do they put the burgers on. They need to come up with a working strategy. That long a wait is just not on.

Apart from me still waiting for Nandos to contact me back, answering their phone OR responding to my email (either option would have been fine) I never received my dinner. Even though it was not a problem on their side, UberEats had to refund me as the bag came to me SEALED with the Nandos QC checklist attached. I am YET to receive a call back/apology/smoke signal/anything from Nandos Bellville - will never order from them again. Not even Nandos HO could get through to the shop or any of the managers. Worse service ever. #nothanks

Food was horrible, staff were rushing to finish orders so they could go home, they closed the doors @19:20 when the covid regulations trading times stated they close at 8pm they turned customers away who came based on their trading times, it was storming and those people probably didn't manage to get food elsewhere due to choosing to go to the nandoes. They ignored people.our wedges were hard, the rice was undercooked and hard, still raw. Chicken was cold and bearly went on the grill, no grill marks. Don't go here!

My son could not believe how quick we got our food and the portion size comparing to one spasific branch we went to last it is way more reasonable. The staff is so friendly and clean seating areas at all times. Wil go every day if I were closer to the branch.

Absolute worst experience ever. Ordered a half a chicken and a quarter with chips. I was told it would take 10 minutes. I decided while they were preparing to go to Spar. I arrived 15 minutes later and the food was not even assembled yet although the order said prepared on on of their screens. The quarter chicken was extremely small and the half chicken had been standing so not good at all. I spoke to the manager and only got a pathetic sorry neh. Not on guys, you will lose customers like this.

There aren’t many things in life that offer such consistent failure rates, but Bellville Nando’s is one of them. I’ve had three orders cancelled by ÜberEats, more than enough incorrect orders, maybe delayed orders (more than 50 minutes) and I’ve been told that the card machine isn’t working when people were inside the store and paying with cards. If you want regreat, to waste away your existence, to experience the worst that anything else in the Western Cape had to offer, then go here.

3rd time ordering a pita and its completely bone dry... no sauce. I asked really nicely if they could please check this time that it had been added and the lady said yes but never bothered to actually ask anyone...I even asked when it was handed over and they said it was added but once again completely dry. Wont support anymore.... rather drive a little further to Panorama where they get it right every time. So disappointing Nandos Bellville.

Never Again will I ever step a foot here , this is the only nandos that refused to give me extra sauce with my chicken even when I was willing to pay extra for it and when we called the manager he just sent a woman to tell us that they are not allowed to give extra sauce to a customer, what kind of Nandos restaurant is this and after we asked for an extra garlic roll and they burnt it on purpose , how disgusting! All the staff including the manager are disgusting people !

Nandos is also known for their sauces: Mild-, Hot- , Extra Hot, Garlic, Lemon & Herb, Shisha Njama. You can also order a variety of different items of Chicken that's been marinated in these sauces according to your liking. Nando's is a 'Take Away' but also have some tables to dine in. So it can get busy & noisy- especially during the peak hours.

I was very happy with the service, staff was helpful and efficient and friendly. Waiting time was short. The food however, was a disappointment. I ordered the chicken strips and a "sharing" size chips. The chicken wasn't very tasty and it was a very small portion for the price I paid. Sharing chips is very small for the price. It's enough for 1 person, not a sharing portion in my opinion. He strips and chips were R76 together. Overpriced and not tasty.

The service at this store is fairly average. A part from the other bad reviews in terms of cleanliness (you may not to ask them to wipe your table at times), they just don't seem to get the food right. I ordered a chicken wrap while I was on lunch, got back to the office and the wrap literally juts had chicken in it. No salad. I haven't purchased there in a while due to previous experiences, but I think I'll stick to N1 city drive thru.

1 star only for the cashier who captured the order correct. The rest after that, all flops. Wrong meal got brought, inadequate quality, missing items. Waiter was at our table x4 times but kept forgetting what we told as soon as he walked 3 steps. Also abit dodgy, as street people was walking into the restaurant all the time to use the restroom. They also dwell around your parked car infront. It just didn't feel safe. Left at my soonest.

This Nandos branch is a perfect example of getting alot less then what you pay for. Ordered a double burger and sharing chips, chips were dry, burger wasn't worth the R110 and my bar one milkshake had so much ice it could have prevented global warming.. literally paid R35 for ice... 3 days prior, ordered the same things in Bloemfontein and it was like night and day. How people rate this place 5 stars, remains a mystery.

The place is clean but tables are sticky. The people working in the restaurant are nice but the lady at front desk looks like she is in a ruch even if we were alone in the place. We live in mauritius and we were suprise to see that the choices are quite little. The taste was very good

I ordered pick-up from this branch last week and was satisfied with my meal. I, however, now received a call from a random person, thinking I am the owner of the Nandos, offering transportation services for "my staff". Apparently this branch deems it appropriate to hand out till slips with their customers' contact details on it and instructing random persons to phone their clients.

Waited 36 minutes for my food. Waited 21 minutes for my milkshake. Sat inside the restaurant. People that came after me, was served with their food before me. Even more disappointed when I got my food. I got a bunch of rice, with 3 carrots, some red and green pepper, about 3 baby marrow and 4 thinly sliced chicken strips for R52. Very disappointing. Honestly just a bowl of rice.

The garlic cheese rolls were burnt, almost charcoal. Long wait. Chips was okay. Chicken was okay, not that great. I've had better at other Nandos.

Sandra was extremely friendly and helpful. Our order was done correctly including all the extra sauces etc. Waiting time to place the order took long as there was only one till open on a friday night. Although there wasn't a lot of people our food still took 14min to prepare. So if you are looking for a "fast" meal, this is not it. But it was delicious and fresh.

Used to be the best Nando's when I was younger... Not sure what happened but service is p!$$ poor and they're just don't care... Brought our order with two items missing. Server said they're coming now and proceeded to take a break had to go ask for the stuff several minutes later... Not returning here

The staff are extremely slow! I called in to place an order to save time. When I got to nandoes I still had to wait extremely long for my order. The staff works at a very slow pace and does not show any consideration for the customer. Also the card machine does not support zapper for convenience. I would not recommend this nandoes to anyone.

Waitress was friendly and on top of her game. She served us well. Food was very tasty...didn't have Nandos in a while...it really hit then hunger spot.

Great store, efficient service and very friendly staff. Was not happy with the cash only parking facility and the parking setup when needing to go into the store. Good tasting food which seems characteristic of the franchise however I don't recommend this store due to the parking factor unless one has patience for the car guards and cash.

Expensive and a server at the till that needs :- (1) Lessons in how to focus on the client. (2) Lessons in how to pay attention to what the customer orders (3) Learn to repeat the order back to the customer to ensure he got it right. ... Management get your training and QA under control before putting people into the front line.

Phoned through order, told it would be ready in 15 mins, got there in 10 mins, paid , was told order not ready and to take a seat. 25 mins later I ask what is happening with my order only to be told its been waiting for me for 30 mins already. Order was ready before I even got there. Got home to dry tasteless chicken.

Terrible service. Had to wait 6 min to have order taken with only one person ahead of us. Then for the food it took over 15min for the food. Now I know why the branch in Tyger Valley closed. No business should be able survive this poor customer service. The staff operate as if everything g happens in slow motion.

5 stars because of nice and friendly staff. My go-to takeaway. Amended 2 star: placed my order online, when I got they said I called to cancel my order. Could not redo my order because loadshedding started 5 minutes later. Happened before where they couldn't find my order. In both cases I had an order number.

No where to sit and eat, all tables occupied by groups of men speaking some foreign language with no food on the tables only 2lt bottles of coke. So you can come here have social gatherings, not order food and take up the space of clients who want to sit and eat. I'll never enter that 'den of vipers' again.

This nandos branch always finds new ways to disappoint. The hotpot that I ordered didn't have any chicken in it whatsoever, not even a shred! Very disappointed. And to make matters worse, the customer care employee gave me the contact details for the wrong branch and refuses to assist further! Not okay

Very disappointed. The cleanliness of the place and its utensils a major disappointment. Tables were dirty the goods used like the sauces are not cleaned. Salt and pepper containers unkempt. The food was not appetizing at all resulting in us leaving without completing it. Won't go back in a hurry.

I did not like the fact that there is advertised on the operational hours of the company on the front door and then its not honoured. I rock up at 10.00 and then the employee shouts at me thrue the glass door that they open at 11.00 only. I am not satisfied with this way of communication at all.

Loved That they offer curbside pickup. Only disappointment was that I initially ordered pitas, but then they called to say that the pitas were a bad quality and asked if i was okay with wraps. I appreciated though that they were upfront about the pitas and didn't just give me a dilapidated pita.

Really friendly, professional staff was the first thing that striked me coming into this Nando's. The aesthetics and ambience of the restaurant is also pleasant - doesn't feel like a generic fast food restaurant at all. Food good as always - no complaints when ordering from Nando's.

Cold food. Customers should be told they must keep their masks on until their food arrives. Almost everyone around us walked in and immediately removed their masks and started speaking loudly with each other. Spittle flying everywhere! Social distancing between tables not good.

Nice food. But staff are a bit of hard on service. Seems to neglect specific requests for ice with coke etc. Small chips and R500ml coke(R17.50) really now. R52. Wow. Some of the staff are fantastic. Others are really a pain in the ass. But yes...The food.... magic

Nando's is a weekend Takeout staple but unfortunately this particular store loses 2 stars - 1xstar lost as meal orders are always incorrect (at least 6 incidences) and another star lost as portion sizes are dramatically small in comparison to surrounding branches

My wife and I have never had a correct order, charges extra for half a slice of processed samwich cheese and they call it healthy eating, this place is a joke will never eat from them again and will definitely tell other people not to either …

Customer service was horrendous and the staff where absolutly rude. The chicken was undercooked and this was not the first time i have been subjected to this horrible experience as i have complained to the branch manager over three times in vain.

Don't buy the veggie burger. The worst piece of food I have ever had. I know that's dramatic lol cold rock solid patty that obviously came frozen first. At least the server recognized and offered to make a new one but we were in a rush to leave.

We waited too long for our coffee, i had to go ask for it after a while and then for our hot chips that NEVER came! Then they wanted to make it a take away after we spent over an hour in the venue after we ordered, definitely NOT impressed :-(

It's easy to locate and its beautiful interior makes for a very comfortable feel. Perfect for those quick sit down lunches.

From my experience a very good Nandos. I went on Sunday, ordered full chicken and sides. They prepared the food quite quickly and it was very tasty. I went to a Nandos in Brackenfell and it horrible. The shops atmosphere is also quite nice

Very disappointed in the service i received. Waited 40min for my food and they still get my order wrong. The guy at the till also very slow in taking my order. Utterly disgusted with this nandos. Will not be going back there ever again.

Not over crowded, covid protocol followed, service was quick, the cashier was friendly, and my Grade 1 learner whom I thought in 2012 was so happy that I took her out. We truelly enjoyed our time there... Looking like sisters ❤️❤️

Food was great, but place wasn't as clean as it should have been, don't get me wrong wasn't filthy but the table was sticky and chair had salt or whatever on it.

This is a really clean place and if you order in store the food is super fresh. The only downside is online orders. Most of them are not fresh at all for some reason.

Bad experience! Asked for a some extra perinase for my wrap and the waitress insisted on taking it to the kitchen as they can't give me some in a bowl. When she came back, it was drenched in sauce. I sent it back!

I'm glad to have a Nandos Restaurant close to me as Edward Street Nandos Bellville. I enjoy eating every dish.

absolutely disappointing from always satisfying to utter disappointment. Order a full potion of extra hot livers, it was dry and tasteless, even after adding extra hot sauce, it made no difference. Its just sad.

Waited 20 minutes for this at nandos Bellville. What a rip-off for R29. Syrup and ice. My food was cold by the time they were done with this creation. Few sips and it was gone. Cmon Nandos. You can do better...

Never ever order a meal through uber eats from this store!!!! The order tracking line is like trying to querying your electricity account at Eskom. Nando's Bellville get a grip!!! You are absolutely useless!!!!

Been going here for over 10+ Years now. Stand out for me is the consistency unlike many other outlets including Nando's branches elsewhere. Chicken is always fresh, perfectly marinated and great service.

Yellow lettuce, overcooked chicken and the smallest chicken pieces. No Nandos you can do much much better.

This branch left out a crucial part of the order, the chicken. Dinner was spoiled. Attempts to contact the store and customer care futile as calls dropped each time I called. A BIG ZERO to Nando’s.

Food was good. They messed up my order gave me a chicken burger instead of veg. They also were unable to print my slip because of a printer malfunction. They did switch my burger to a veg one.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Chips was hard and some even raw inside and rice was cold .I asked to speak with the manager which didn't even bother to arrive. NANDO'S BELLVILLE YOU'VE DROPPED THE BALL!

Visited the store and waited long to be served. Placed a takeaway order, when I got home the hot pot had rice instead of pap, there was no extra sauce as requested in the chicken.

I bought a full chicken and I specified flavour Lemon and herbs and they packed mild. It’s Sunday evening can’t go back to the store to return it I am extremely disappointed.

Very clean and modern, I didn't wait long for my food. The food was tasty, very happy with that. I had to wait for someone to serve me because there was nobody at the desk.
