Ordered 3x meals and I was asked to wait at the parking bay. After 15min of waiting and the car behind me had his order in 1min and I was still waiting for my order, I decided to go in and ask about my order. Apparently my order never got updated onto the system. They were only busy with my order only when I walked in and asked for it. Also I told the lady at the collection window to please to not forget about me after she send me to park at the waiting bay. She kept my slip and never asked the kitchen staff where my order was. Once inside the Manager approached me and didn't give any excuses just kept quiet. The workers gave me 2 different "excuses" which didn't make sense. I was given my money back (after I asked for it) and the Manager still not saying a word... not even "sorry"!!! The Manager should of handled this in a proper manner by not allowing his staff to give false "excuses" or talk on his behalf. The Manager didn't even care that he had lost a loyal customer!!!!!

I love Nandos... but this store does not do justice to the brand at all, it doesn't even deserve a one star. I have only been here twice and on both occasions we experienced poor service. We were there yesterday and we had to clear our own table, the server had the audacity to hand over the "water" disguised as sanitizer to my husband to clean the table while she stood at the waiters station. The place is dirty, there isn't even hand soap at the hand basin. It wasn't busy at all and majority of the tables were dirty. Staff are dragging their feet , the supervisor was running around doing everyone's job??? The manager was present but only stood at the pass, no inclination to assist. And the food... don't even get me started... just terrible! My husband and I both felt ill within a few hours of eating - he had a burger, I had a quarter chicken and we shared a starter livers??? I don't want a refund, I don't want a free meal, I want you to improve your offering because it's completely unacceptable.

I'm a new Nando's lover. My favourite has to be the Chicken, Sweet Chilli and Haloumi pita. I love this particular store because you can order takeaway inside / go through the drive-through or eat in. I skipped the drive through because the line was a little long but I did still wait a while inside. I can only imagine running all three operations can take some time to get used to and that their service and response time will only improve with time. Staff were very friendly and the food was great - albeit a little on the messy side (sometimes they cut open the entire pita instead of just cutting a slit in the top) but I am not one to shy away from abandoning cutlery and rolling up my sleeves. Their pre-packed dessert options are super cute and yummy without being too much - just remember to defrost these while you eat your main so they will be ready by the time you're done as they are mostly kept frozen in store.

We ordered an eat in meal... ½ chicken extra hot with side rice and mielie and ½ chicken extra hot with Slaw. Food was great, but the cashier said something bazaar... "why don't you people go on holiday, as now we must work throughout the holiday!" We were speechless to say the least. The store was being cleaned way before 19h00, we had mo one attending to our further needs, Nando's is a hands-on meal... NO SERVIETS, NO ATTENDANTS! EVERYONE BUSY CLEANING!! BAD SERVICE! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING THERE SOON. TO THINK WE CAME TO REDEEM A CLUCKING COMPLAINT VOUCHER... CAN WE HET IT RIGHT FOR ONCE... WE IN AN ERA WHERE RESTAURANTS ARE CLOSING ITS DOORS. NANDO'S IS A WELL RESPECTED INTERNATIONAL RESTAURANT THAT HAS AN EXCELLENT BUSINESS MODEL THAT WORKS.

Probably the slowest service any respectable drive through has ever given. The car in front of me had an issue at the collection window, and instead of dealing with that customer in the parking area they kept her at the window. The result - a pile up of 8 cars behind me. I eventually got to the window 17 minutes after my order time printed on my cash slip from payment window. No excuse was given when i asked about this. My food was COLD by the time i got home - 1,9km away. I will eefinitely support the opposition next time seeing as something similar happened at this very same drive through not too long ago. Clearly substandard service is their standard

I was very disappointed with the chicken I bought from Brackenfell nandos, drove through in the afternoon very hungry, grabs a full chicken only and asked that they cut into 8. How ever to our surprise when we got home. The chicken was scary small pieces, roughly cut. And immediately we made remarks about the pieces that they will not even add to make a whole chicken. We prepared to eat and ate the shredded overcooked pieces. There was how ever no sign of both wings or the chest or sort of chicken ribs as one would expect. I really don't know what kind of chicken it was that doesn't have the upper body. I'm rating a 2 because the service was very quick and staff polite. But we didn't get what we paid for.

Worst Service Ever...my family and I visited the branch today 15 Dec 23 around 21:15.We ordered a full chicken meal,I requested the chicken to be cut in quarters with 1 quarter having no sauce as my 11 year old daughter does not eat sauce . I was told that they cannot do that although it has been done for us numerous times before at this branch and others but the manager refused to assist.I feel that such service from Nandos is unacceptable...I guess the service you get depends on the mood the staff is in at the time.

Very disappointed. First time at this branch, placed an order to sit in for four poeple. Waited 15min for a glass and ice, got up and asked, was told that they will bring,it never came. Braught incorrect milkshakes, no spice on wedges as we asked. I ordered extra avo, did not come to table, had to get up after my meal was halfway already and ask for it. As server braught milkshakes, one milkskake she spilled over potato wedges. Server clothing very dirty and not friendly and looks about 6 months pregnant. No atmospher,all we could hear was staff speaking. Not happy.

Very dissapointing. I got a chicken wrap with peri chips. I was looking forward to it the hole week. 1. There was no sause on my chicken it was like it was just boiled 2. Added salad (probably teaspoon as there was nothing in) 3. My order was wrong. I wanted slaw and not salad anyway 4. My wrap was not even closed correctly and looked manhandled. 5. There was so little chicken in I am still hungry I always get this at canal walk I have never been disappointed. Only reason I am giving it 2 and not 1 is because the chips was perfect

The wait was quite long at the drive through, but service was friendly and food was delicious (especially the bar one milkshake). I should have gotten lemon and herb instead of mild, because mild was still too hot for me – but that's 100% my own fault. Being a resident in Brackenfell for the past 32 years... this is to date the worst service I have ever recieved. Store manager Anathi swears in my face. Tells me this store has no owner. He is this store. Drive through gets my order wrong. He says I must go through drive through again. I have not come across this bad behaviour. Anathi has the worst attitude I have ever came across. This guy is doing damage to this shop and as a business owner myself, I sure hope this reviews gets to the owner/directors of this restaurant.

Strike 3... Used to be the best in the Northern Suburbs. But the waiting time for drive through is atraucious 30 minutes whilst the Mr D and Uber Eats rush in and out continuously. Close the drive through and focus on the online sales other than keeping customers waiting in line outside, without any warning of the waiting time ahead.

What I realised in this Nandos is that, you don’t get what you have paid for, which is so annoying!!! Stopped for a quick bite to eat. Lemon and herb chicken was good as always. What was very disappointing though was the 2 portions of chicken livers we ordered. I ordered a take away and paid with card. Cashier took my card and I could not see the card. Then he returns my card and till slip. When I asked him what about entering my pin number he replied that he just tapped my card for payment. I don't like the idea of my card being out of my sight at all. I don't know how many times it was tapped. I will be watching my bank statements. I took his photo, just in case. Nandos, you just lost a client.

One thing about Nandos the quality always remains the same no matter which one you visit, so you know what you going to get and that is what we need in this unknown world we are living in, thank you Nandos for remaining true and keeping us grounded.

It took around an hour and 20 min after we joined the drive through queue to get our food; it took an hour after placing the order at the window to receive our food. Will definitely not order again at your store. You are not cheap, therefore I expect quality food. Firstly, the wrong order was received and I had to phone to correct it, such a nuisance after a very long day and already starving. Secondly, the potato wedges tasted old and cold, disgusting! The little box with the side veggies was half, not sure if that is how it normally is, but if so, then it is madness what you pay for that little bit of veggies. They were extremely busy, so I thought I'd go inside rather then take the drive through. I waited exactly 46 minutes for my food, and that while the drive through que kept on moving. Also, from the 3 quarter chickens I ordered, the one we're slightly burned. I've made use of them before, and they've always had great service and great food, so I'm not about to write them of just yet. I'll put tonight down as a once-off.

What a waste of time, Nandos shut down your drive thru please... That took so long!!! And the service was soooo bad! How do you get my order wrong 3 times? And 2 time still after looking at the receipt? How??? You spend more money in that drive thru than going inside. Shocking! Shut it down They ask me to contact them, they call me to tell me they going to call me.... then they don't call me.

My partner bought Nando’s meal today and it was the worst i have ever tasted. Firstly it was burnt and unfortunately i couldn’t take it back as it was a takeaway and i stay in Stellenbosch. It was burnt in such that i couldn’t even taste the chicken. Normally the mild source is always good but today tasted like water with chilies… very bad i must say and i am very dissapointed.

Extremely slow service. I have been her twice each instance over 20 minutes waiting. Drive thru is as slow as going inside. People working there should have some sense of urgency or alternatively inform customers prior to purchase of expected waiting time. I don't mind waiting if they a long q however there is a few people i don't understand why they have long waiting times

My go to branch as it is the closets in my area. They are consistent in their wait times and good quality which is great. I can’t really fault them on anything, their service is better than the bigger fast food chains. However if there was a Pedros in my area I’d probably go there simply because of Nandos premium price.

The service are terrible and extremely slow. This is not the first time and it happens more often than not. Staff just ignore you and even more so if you are light skinned. I made a telephone order and was told it would take 20min. Got there paid and waited 15 min looking at the order sitting on their redeay. I asked for the order and still waited 5 min to get my order.

Food as great today however, they couldn't find my order & I had to keep explaining what my order was since I ordered on the app, I showed her the app as well as the SMS but she still had no idea until I said for the 5th time I paid online she was like "Oooooooh" second time this happens at this branch. Pity that was the downside as the food as actually really good.

Used the drive thru. Had to wait 35min in que to get 2quarter chicken and chips. Got home chips was cold and 1 quarter chicken undercooked. Rated them 3 stars. Since then customercare requested my contact details which I supplied. A week later no response from Nandos customercare. Change my rating to a 2star. Horrible service and poor food quality control.

Was impressed with the general look of the establishment,service was prompt and friendly. The food was fresh and met the general standard I have come to expect at Nando's. Was impressed to see that they also offer alcoholic beverages which would also make it a place to take a group of friends to hang out and connect and not just a place for takeaways.

It's sad that nandos food is not consistent. One day the food is delicious and saucy, then the next is a bit dry. I have always had a issue with this specific nando's drive thru, more than once when I get home I found wrong order. It is totally unacceptable, especially if it happens more than once. Some things need to be changed in this restaurant

There was something wrong with the sauce, like it was watered down. It was too thin and not creamy. We ordered half hot and half extra hot. But both were hot, just labeled differently. The order was not ready on time. They were extremely busy and rushing. It does mean you have to cut on quality when you have an influx of orders.

We always choose Nandos for the taste in food. This evening we were sadly disappointed by how long we had to wait for our food. This was before peak. 3 other guests in the restuarant but we waited longer than an order of a family feast, and we were only 2. Food never disappoints,but service today gets a big fat 0.

Ordered dinner to the value of +R350 at 17:15pm online and was notified it will be done by 18:00pm. Got there and it still was not ready. Customer service was good, however it seems staff under pressure about 6-7 staff members dealing with walkins, uber eats driver orders and drive thru customers.

Service has really gone from 10 to 1 in a few months. Order never comes as requested, oh and never order a take away. "8 to 10 minutes" is a total joke. More like 45 minutes... Went from my favorite to my least favorite Nando's in just two months. P.s I buy here every week, today will be my last.

Went to the drive through. Card machine wasn't working. Couldn't leave because they have no slip lane so had to sit there for 40 minutes just waiting to be able to leave and go somewhere else. Ended up ordering from Mr D while in the queue and the Mr D beat me home! Pathetic service.

Continuosly making errors with our veggie meal orders as my partner is vegetarian. Always adding chicken to the veggie meals we order. Complained to management about it, did not offer any compensation. Just said sorry thats all. Waste of our time and money

Really enjoyed eating the chicken here. The chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. The Peri Peri sauce was amazing. I'll be visiting again but I head home. Im planning on asking for extra peri sauce packets so I can take back to States .

Went there at 10:30 and was told by staff that they are not ready yet and I must come back at 11:00. Operating hours are from 10am. This is not what one should expect from a franchise. Staff are rude and don't care about customer service.

Don't place a big order with them, took over an hour an a half to get my order our after committing to 45 mins... 1st food was cold by the time the last food was ready. Not very impressed with the lack of caring from management either!

Terrible don't go to this nandos rather take a short drive to any other one. They really just don't care about the customer and the food they give you has zero sauce its beyond dry. Absolutely terrible!

Nando's is doing much better, I had some bad experiences but they up there game. I have lots of respect for a restaurant that ups there game if they didn't perform well. Nicely done Nando's Brackenfell.

This Nando’s is very clean and beautiful. Food was so tasting and service was quick. Just the cashier/waiter who assisted me was not friendly and didn’t even greet nor smile. But overall it was good

Friendly staff. We had coupons which tend to take a bit of time but the staff were friendly and on the ball. Big thumbs up.

Ridiculous waiting time! It's called a drive through for a reason, I can't possibly understand why it's taking an hour to the tee to deliver a fast food service! Atrocious service!

Drive-through option was slower than expected. Does not appear to be quicker than counter service. Food still good, though.

The 2 star rating is for having to wait to place your order. No one is there to welcome you @ the till point and you have to wonder if someone is coming to serve you.

Nice food and relatively quick service most of the time. Didn't have a menu item which I wanted to order. Atmosphere inside could be warmer and less noisy.

Nando's and quality are fixed at the hip bone. Quality of food is outstanding. Prices reasonable. Two adults and 2 children can eat well for around R200!

The worst Nando's, drive thru is slow, my rice tasted old, hard & it was cold. No thank you for me. However the staff was great but not the food.

The staff need training on how to deal with customer. Very disappointing service.

Quick and good service. Vegetarian meals are a bit pricey. Ordered the veg boujee bowl a side of spinach and a drink total was R135.

Waiting more than 25 minutes for a take away now......and still waiting.Ordered only 2 chicken bowls on rice

They are quick and sufficient.. Bit sometimes my lemon and herb rice are very dry even if I asked for extra sauce.
