Nectar has been my go to flower shop for the last several years, and I've been pleased with their arrangements each and every time, so have friends and family who received them. The flowers are high quality (sadly, not always the case with other shops) and the arrangements are stunning. So when I got married last month, I immediately knew who I wanted to work with. Honestly, the easiest decision out of the entire wedding planning process. Anastasia and Kseniia were a dream to work with. Communication was always quick and on point. The ladies were always friendly and professional. They provided helpful advice on any points where I was unsure. Smoothest process ever from beginning to end. The ladies and their team executed my vision perfectly, everything from the colour palette to the style. Also, the floral arrangement I had requested for the oak tree was perfection (as was my bouquet). It was absolutely beautiful and exactly the focal point of the ceremony that I had envisioned. I ordered flowers for my wife on our first wedding anniversary. I ordered flowers that had a coloration and assortment that had a special meaning to us. However, unbeknownst to me, the store was unable to fulfill the order and instead sent whatever they had on hand. The result was a bouquet, I feel, resembles more of a baby shower bouquet than a anniversary bouquet. (Pinks and whites instead of the orange I had selected) As I had spent over $100 on the bouquet, I was extremely disappointed and contacted the business for an explanation. They told me that they ran out of the color of flowers I had ordered and simply used whatever they had on hand. They offered to send more flowers but what are we supposed to do with more flowers? The anniversary has come and gone so these would be a waste. What I expected from them would have been a call explaining the situation and the offer to either reimburse me for the bouquet I chose or provide me with alternatives to that bouquet. Instead they made a poor choice without consulting me and I am very disappointed. I can't say that I plan to order from this business again which is unfortunate as they have provided good service in the past.

This business is one of those rare gems where the owners consistently go above and beyond what is expected to serve the customer. It’s so encouraging to see this. Every time I deal with them I am very satisfied but when there is a hiccup they really show their true colours of kindness caring and service. This time I was ordering flowers for my daughters birthday and gave the wrong number street number for the address which of course made it impossible to deliver. The delivery person to the trouble to text me and even sent me photos of the street. Finally I gave the phone number where the delivery was to occur ( but I got that wrong too!) again she politely messaged me, I gave the correct number and the delivery occurred. The whole thing wasted about an hour of her time, but she politely and conscientiously persisted and completed the delivery. This type of old school customer care is the kind of service I have seen consistently at Nectar and that is why I always order from them. Of course the flowers were beautiful and the birthday a happy one. I highly recommend them.

Nectar by far exceeded my expectations! I live in Dallas Texas. A dear friend of mine who lives in Ottawa had a birthday coming up and I wanted to surprise her with flowers. So I blindly searched online for a florist. I chose Nectar based off of their reviews and rating. I sent an email, gave them the necessary info and asked if it was possible to have an arrangement delivered Saturday. They emailed me back the next day and told me they could do it and with free delivery. I ended up choosing "Designer's Choice" because there were so many amazing options, I couldn't decide. I told them it was for a very special friends birthday and to make it look beautiful. They emailed me today confirming my order and even text me when the flowers and chocolates were delivered. My friend was so surprised and sent me a picture of the beautiful arrangement they made. I would definitely recommend Nectar. We chose Nectar online from afar, attracted by the more interesting and unique selections of bouquets available to order online. We were not disappointed. My mother in law loved her mother's day bouquet of gorgeous peonies. It was easy to order online and when I made a mistake with the order, it was easy to contact a 'real' person and make sure it was cleared up. We had also ordered some chocolates to go with the flowers, but due to matters beyond the control of Nectar, they were not available for delivery that weekend. We were delighted and impressed when the manager contacted us to offer a beautiful orchid instead... and my mother in law loved it as well! We will definitely return to Nectar again for our Ottawa flower arrangements.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to a funeral home for my husband's aunt's funeral. When we arrived at the funeral the bouquet was half the size that I was expecting and the roses were already starting to brown on the edge of the petals. I have bought roses at the grocery store that lasted longer. I was very embarrassed that the bouquet we sent was so below par. I emailed Nectar Flowers to let them know and I got a reply that was less than satisfactory and not even completely intelligible. Yesterday, I dropped by my florist in my home town just to make sure that I wasn't off base in terms of size and cost, and they had larger bouquets for less than half the price. I will NEVER order from this florist again.

Exceptional service and quality. After getting scammed by a “fake” flower shop, I placed a order from Nectar online, (I also called for confirmation which the extremely friendly staff, answered the phone on the first call). I ordered the Pink Flower Macaron box. Arrangement was for my twin sister’s birthday, and she was blown away by the beautiful wrapping, flowers, delicious cookies and the box it all came in. The flowers that were provided by Nectar Flower were STUNNING! I genuinely appreciated the consultation that was provided and then the plan beforehand to help with the vision, but seeing the flowers for the first time the day of wedding blew me away with the sheer variety and colours. Everyone during the reception kept commenting on how beautiful they were and how they had never seen arrangements like it before. Even after the wedding, when showing people photos, one of their first comments is always about how great the flowers look. One of the most difficult things about living a distance from family can sometimes be gift giving as what you see on-line isn’t always what gets delivered. For several years now I have depended on Nectar for flowers on special occasions for my family in Ottawa. From my home in San Diego, I have depended on the prompt, reliable and stunning floral arrangements to brighten the days of my family. Valentine’s Day 2022 was exceptional. I placed an online order early at 5:30 am Pacific time and I was delighted to receive a picture of the flowers delivered only three hours after I placed the order! A wonderful boutique floral shop with excellent service and people who do pick up the telephone!!

I ordered flowers online for a next day delivery but had some questions and gave them a call. I spoke with Emma who was so helpful and was able to send a lovely bouquet to a friend on fairly short notice. They even changed the delivery address at the last minute when they contacted my friend to verify her location. The arrangement was absolutely beautiful and I felt the price was excellent. Beautiful flowers and amazing service! My friend was turning 50 and her favourite flower is the peony, which is out of season in October. Anastasia helped me by suggesting flowers that looked similar, and the final product was bright, bold and gorgeous...and looked like it had peonies in it! (PS there wasn't a macron missing, it looks like my friend couldn't wait to try one before she snapped the pic!). Absolutely gorgeous flowers and easy process for ordering/delivery. I am in Vancouver, and my friend is in Ottawa whom I was purchasing flowers and their online system is so easy to use, and the team notified me as soon as the flowers were delivered. From order to door it took about 3 and a half hours- talk about great customer service! They also texted me when they had been delivered, and the flowers that were delivered were fresh and gorgeous. Would recommend their service to anyone.

I like to pick the flowers up in person and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. Went here to get my wife and my daughter some lovely flowers for valentines. The prices are reasonable as the effects of inflations, and so on. This is the second time I bought flowers here and it never disappoint me yet. The staff are nice and professional, very attentive to the customers. They make sure to make the flower bouquet looks very beautiful. I do recommend this flower shop mostly if you have to do your last minute shopping for valentines.

I got 2 bouquets and a bonsai tree from here. The presentation was amazing! The flowers in bouquets were fresh and I enjoyed them for a long time.
