Amazing place! The food was so good I forgot to take photos! We had the alternative slider combo 3 which included 2 sliders, fries & a soft drink. Best vegetarian burger in Vietnam by far (been here 5 weeks). We also had The Dukes of Hazard (pulled pork) slider combo which was so good I would've eaten 2! My son had the taco salad and pretty much licked the plate clean! The best thing about this place is that, if like me, you struggle to decide what to have, you can order the slider and small versions of the dishes and have both or all 3?!?! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and speak really good English. We will be back and will add photos! Ps Be careful parking your scooter in the old town on a Friday-Sunday night as the police might come and remove it.

Remarkably good western food. After traveling for months in Asia and eating almost exclusively local food, my wife and I decided to have a western dinner. I would have been very happy getting these burgers in America at a nice burger place. The food was tasty and there were a lot of beer options. We didn't like that the fries we got were such giant chunks of potato as opposed to fries, but the truffle sauce was tasty with it. Our server Quan was fantastic! He spoke with such impressive English and was so kind and helpful with our visit. Definitely come here if you're looking for some western food!

Great burger place in the Old Quarter. Wonderful variety of options. We had four “sliders” all different amd delicious( Rolls- Royce, Swiss Bliss, Dirty Bird, Dikes of Hazzard - our personal favorite’s were the DB & DOH, but again, all were very delicious). We had sides of skinny fries & thrice fried wegdes with truffle mayo, the mayo was divine, however the wedges were a bit on the oily side (understandably so) depends what you prefer, we preferred the skinny fries. Classic “Burgers & Beers” setting but very sophisticatedly done. *understandably western prices compared to street vendors - however with the quality of ingredients, staff & setting it is very reasonable. I came back a few days later for a take away single slider and the staff were just as friendly, very helpful service & had a good bite to eat.

Amazing food, great service and friendly staff! We were short on time as we had to get our next bus. We ordered online and because we arrived earlier than expected, we could actually eat our delicious meal in the restaurant. We got the Swiss Bliss and Smash burgers (regular size) and the Fat Fries with truffle mayonnaise. Really juicy burgers and loads of flavour. We also had the Seven Bridges Imperial IPA (amazing) and the Far East IPA which were very tasty and reminded us of Belgian craft beer. The staff speak English perfectly and were very friendly. This is exactly what we needed.

Chops is a great spot in the middle of old quarter, hard to miss when you walk past. The food is incredible and comes really fast. Thad a slider combo, which includes the burger, fries and a soft drink all for 120k. The vegetarian burger was so authentic, it made me question if it was real meat (which it wasn't, it's just an incredibly good alternative). Nghia, the waiter who served me, was really lovely and made sure everything was okay. It's really good food for a really good price, even cheaper than most of the Vietnamese places around. If you come to Hanoi and are craving a burger I would definitely recommend chops!!

Local situado en el Old Quarter, muy bien decorado, con unas hamburguesas deliciosas, en su punto, que ayudan a descansar un poco de la comida vietnamita (lo que no quiere decir que ésta no sea fabulosa). La atención de Kin fue muy buena, nos explicó el menú perfectamente y, al terminar de cenar, mantuvimos una interesante conversación con otro camarero del que, lamentablemente, no conocemos el nombre (llevaba gafas) y al que queremos agradecer enormemente sus bonitas palabras y su filosofía de vida pese a su corta edad. Repetiríamos sin duda.

A solid burger spot in Old Quarter Hanoi. The service was great from start to finish - attentive, friendly and helpful. The burger was good, although it initially came out under cooked, they corrected it immediately upon request. I might recommend clarifying when ordering how you like your meat cooked. Outside that, the burger, fries and beer hit the spot. Every now and then you need something different than Vietnamese cuisine and Chops answered the call.

We spent 5 weeks in Vietnam and ate a variety of Vietnamese and western food while we were here…Chops was an amazing experience overall! The staff was welcoming and professional, the food was fantastic, and atmosphere was pleasant, great music…between their location in Hanoi and Their location in Hoi An, we went to chops several times. 10/10. I would highly recommend if you’re missing the taste of a juicy burger and some western style food with excellent service!

I was there with my wife to taste this burger and honestly it was very juicy and well prepared. Giving 4 stars to the service since the team needs a little bit of more experience but they are on a good way. The Menu is too complicated and there is no flexibility with soft drinks or beers. They just charge you more. Atmosphere 3, I honestly didn't like the low roof (careful you can hit your head easily) and the fake firewood displayed on the TV. I would go again just for the pickup.

Amazing place if you want a burger, At first glance its quite expensive but the quality is godly, Personally recommend the bacon burger, absolutely delicious burger. The staff are conversational and genuinely friendly. Love this place can't recommend it enough. (Btw the slider is genuinely small it wont fill you if you're more than 70% hungry)

Really delicious hamburgers and fries. Hamburgers are one of the best ever eaten. The thin fries are basically like you would find in McDo. Suggest upgrading to the Chops ones, which are basically potato wedges with a nice truffle mayo. Prices are ex. taxes, so it's a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it to take a break from the Vietnamese food.

Alternative burger with plant based patty

Great burger place with a super selection. You won't find better burgers in Hanoi. Great team. Fast, friendly and efficient. Quan is an exemplary employee. Update: we have been back twice since our first visit. The service is perfect and the food as good as ever. I would not normally update a review but this place deserves it. If only they would open a Chops in Chichester UK. Best burgers EVER!

Went for the Dukes of Hazzard and Chops sliders. Delicious and filling. Great ambience and service. Disclosure: I’ve known the owner since we were kids and with his chef background, I expected his restaurant’s food to be great and it didn’t disappoint. One of the tastiest burgers (maybe >the< tastiest) I’ve had. I rarely eat Western food these days, and this was a highlight of a first trip to Vietnam.

Stopped in with friends after they had been before and MY GOD was the burger good! I got the Rolls Royce and it was just what I needed after a lot of travelling! Nghia was such an attentive guy as well and the staff are a load of fun! Overall, it really hit the spot and, though it’s quite pricey for the area, it’s so worth it!

Great experience, excellent service even when super busy and the menu had something for everyone’s tastebuds. I was seated upstairs as l was by myself and l must say l really liked this sitting area as you could look down and around and onto the street. Ci sono stata per ben due volte durante il mio soggiorno ad Hanoi. C'è una sola offerta vegetariana, ma è spettacolare. A bit overpriced for the area. The Caesar salad has no chicken so for an extra cost you can add some. And when bill comes everything is 8% more expensive because the tax is not included. I've never seen a menu in whole Vietnam where the prices didn't include tax. It's not a huge deal but l feel it's a marketing scam.

Great food! If you need to be reminded of what food tastes like in the States, this is a must stop in Hanoi! If you're a burger nerd, this is your spot. The bun! Best I've had in southeast Asia. Meat perfectly seasoned and jucy. We tried four different burgers and nachos, all amazing! Desserts are incredible. If you mix that with fantastic beer and music, you might be stuck there for a while.

Very good burgers with good choice of options. I was here as part of a group from Newborns Vietnam, a charity supported by Chops and so there is a conflict of interest in my review, but I would still recommend them! Good choice of beers with craft beers alongside standard Hanoi beer. Good atmosphere, buy the Newborns Burger!

Satisfying burgers, very close to the best ones I know. The beef patty is fatty, the bun is fluffy and the sauce makes the whole burger balanced. They have 3 floors, so you’re sure to find a place. We received the food pretty quickly, like probably after 10-15mins! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful :)

We came here for dinner and we were blown away by the burgers. These are proper burgers, and as a vegetarian, the alternative burger is quite possibly the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. Staff are great and speak amazing English and help you with recommendations. There is a burger for everyone here and we both couldn’t decide what to get. Absolutely amazing food!

This is a seriously good burger. As a California native that means a lot. I come from the land of amazing burgers but this is the best ive had in asia so far. They have a good beer selection of various craft brews. The waitress was super friendly and chatty and seemed kind. I will definitely return if I come back to Hanoi.

The staff are so lovely and friendly. The burgers are insanely good!! & The combo deals are a great price. If I had more time in Hanoi, I would be back. Definitely recommend (especially the durty bird burger, was delicious)

Great place, amazing food and super service!!! They also have a good selection of craft beers. I'll definitely return here when I'm back in Hanoi. (p.s, if you go to the toilet, remember to duck on your way out )

Delicious! Vanilla shake is the best. Had The Rolls Royce burger, tasty fried mac n cheese ON TOP of a tasty beef patty. Plus skinny fries. My bf had the smokey bacon and was equally impressed. We will be back for the lunchtime special!

Great food location for burgers. The menu has probably about 10 different burgers and then you can have different options I went for two sliders combo, with fries, diet coke and a monthly beer. Beer is around 95k for those that want to know.

Rare place in Hanoi where there's western food. Also waiter can communicate in English which was awesome. Burger was above average but we it's still good and rare to find such a shop in old quarters. Price was affordable too. Good service.

Their Smash Burger was the best hamburger I’ve ever had in Vietnam and their skinny fries were as good as or better than McDonalds. Our manager Quan went out of his way to make sure we got what we asked for. He also spoke perfect Harry Potter English. :)

It was the first time eating wagyu burgers and they were directly under my top 3 Burgers! My favourite was the Italian Job but you have to take it in regular size and maybe the price looks a little high but it is completely worth it!

Burgers really good, best we had in my trip in SE Asia. 1 problem that dishes not included Mayonnaise and you need to pay more for it. Totally, very good food. Most recommend
