"This place is amazing! Great price, awesome flavours & probably the most authentic banh mi's in Edmonton! I haven't tried a sub that I didn't like! Highly recommend the combo, Vietnamese sausage & shredded pork or the beef satay!! Will be back for sure! Plus their bread has a perfect texture which balances between flakey & chewy!"
"i just want to sing the praises of their salad rolls real quick ive had a lot of bad salad rolls in this city but theres have already been consistently great; they never fall apart, you can tell they just wrapped them because the meat is still warm, and it comes with a really good peanut sauce (with peanut pieces)"
"This place is a small hidden gem of Whyte Ave"
"I had the meatball sub, it was unlike what I expected but it was by far one of the best subs I've ever had! The bun was light and airy but yet nice and crispy! And the flavors were amazing too, and very fresh! I found the price to be quite reasonable, I'll definitely be back for more! More"
"Holy! I’ve passed by this place for years and was always curious"

This place is a small hidden gem of Whyte Ave. It's 9 dollars for a sandwich that will fill you up and taste amazing. The service is always nice and I prefer this place to subway since it's local. Highly recommend their spicy chicken satay. I could not recommend this place more to other broke students. More

Holy! I’ve passed by this place for years and was always curious. Last week I finally went in and ordered the Beef Satay Sub….WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY! Had to come back this weekend, my new favourite sandwich of all time. Cant beat the price or quality. Will be back again soon! More
Was heading to Subway and remembered there was this place nearby. So glad I changed plans. The sandwich (chicken satay) was fresh and delicious. The bread absolutely gorgeous. Fresh and soft centre, crispy crust. Was made super fast and I was on my way inside 5 minutes. More
Best Vietnamese Sub I’ve had in Edmonton. Everything is fresh and there is an amazing depth of flavour to the seasoning. Surprisingly filling but definitely not a full meal. I’d recommend getting a sub with some sort of side because the sub by itself will not cut it. More
Just ordered from here and it was amazing. Everything tasted great and had fantastic portion sizes (seriously, the pork buns were the size of my face!). Show stealer for me was for sure the wonton soup, which was hot and flavourful. Will definitely be coming back!
My god this is good. The bread is so fresh and delicious and the meats are impeccable. I love the satay beef and the grilled pork. All the grilled ones cannot miss amongst anyone. If you're looking for something new that I also love, try the headcheese
We usually come here for the bahn mi and it’s just ok. The bread has never tasted fresh here and it’s always so crumbly. The latest bahn mi I had today basically crumbled to nothing and completely fell apart, it was so so dry and stale. But
Ordered a mango coconut smoothie only with fruits and icecubs. Got the worst one I've ever had. It tasted like watery coconut milk without any mango. After asking if it should be like that and if they really put mango in it, the answer was:
Worst viet sub place. They have the TINIEST subs and for a ridiculous price compared to other competitors. Their bread was so thin per the other review and so small. There was like nothing in the sub. At least if you increase the price, you
What can I say other then a great sub! Had the Chicken Satay combo with spring roles and a pop. Best meal I have ever eaten? Well no. But it was quite good and for $13.92 including a 15% tip. You are hard pressed to find a better value for
Don't let the somewhat dated appearance fool you. Food is great. Not exactly a place you'd want to eat in because of the limited seating etc. But definitely a great place to tlgwt take out. Sandwiches are awesome, pork buns as well. Can't
This isn't some fancy Jimjam joint. What it is is really good food for a reasonable price and I love it. I live close so am able to pick up something to go and eat their lovely food in the comfort of my couch. I am never disappointed! More
Delicious Banh mi sandwiches and soups. Really hit the spot after walking up Whyte Ave and dodging a bunch of smooth brained anti maskers. Got take out and our food held up well and still tasted great once we got home. Plenty of different
I'm not sure why this place gets such great reviews. That's the reason I stopped. The bread was stale and falling apart crunchy. The kind of bread that hurts your gums when you bite in. The shredded pork felt like I was eating fiberglass
Nhon Hoa is a consistent, fresh and excellent choice for a quick bite. I have been eating here once a week since they first opened on Whyte Ave several years ago. Their sandwiches are one of the best value for lunch in the area. I would
We stopped by on our way to the south side to grab the sandwich after seeing many appraisals. It is just a sandwich place so the atmosphere is okay for the price. The beef satay was a warm/hot sandwich so that may be why we waited a few
Sooo good, I work so close to here and this has been my go-to lunch spot lately. The chicken satay and the combo cold cut subs are to die for. I crave these all the time. The iced coffee is to die for and hits the spot every time.
I get the best quality of food when I order during busy times. If you go to the restaurant and order they're pretty quick to prepare the food even during peak hours. Will return despite the sad/run down appearance.
Didn't know what a Bahn Mi was but the sandwich is so good. Got the Combo Cold cut. It has a unique taste and nice crunchy fresh bread, would definitely recommend. Feel like the area is a little sketchy though lol
Great Banh Mi. And great prices. Just under $10 for a large sub. Satay beef Banh Mi is my favourite, always nice and spicy. Only negative is the location. Parking can be difficult to find on whyte ave. More
The subs are amazing. We had the grilled pork - generous meat, tasty perfect combination of flavors, fresh soft baguette, and so reasonable at $8.75 for a full size sandwich. Cash or debit only.
A word of caution for those with any allergies: This business makes set menu items and they do not make any accommodations. They will also make no effort to give you any notice or caution.
Stopped by to grab wonton soup but ordered a chicken satay sandwich to go really glad I did ingredients where fresh everything tasted perfect would highly recommend . More
Lovely subs and service. They had no problems making slight modifications to make the sub vegan for me and my partner. The price is cheap and definitely worthwhile. More
You know when you just want a tasty sandwich? These subs are amazing, just great. Beef/chicken satay with a bubble tea on a brisk covid day is just lovely. Keep it up.
Sandwiches are now $5.75 and it's honestly been our families go-to spotnfor banh mis since forever. The bread and fillings have been consistent and always delicious!
first time ordering from here and tried the lemongrass chicken sub as well as their vietnamese iced coffee both were great! excited to try other sub flavours More
We came here for breakfast 3-4 times during our trip. The sandwiches is huge and really good. I recommend the grilled beef and teriyaki chicken. More
Good Vietnamese food place with many good options for sub, noodle soup or dessert. Portion size is quite generous for how much you are paying. More
My favourite place to get Banh Mi in Edmonton! The owner is so nice and i enjoy their Vietnamese desserts you can get in the fridge as well. More
Great place for vietnamese submarines in Edmonton. Some of the best sandwhiches out there.
