Buyer beware--The worst experience of our week in Nice. I booked this tour because it was the higher rated of the two tours offered on the day we were free. Chris began telling me via Airbnb the day before that he wanted to cancel because there weren't enough people to make it worth his while. He was asking me to conduct the cancellation so he could avoid the Airbnb cancellation fee: "...Yet cancellations can be very disruptive for guests and should be avoided, if possible. If one of your Experiences has to be canceled and it’s not because of Weather or Emergencies or safety issues, you may be charged a cancellation fee." He insisted that I would receive a full refund even though the Airbnb app clearly indicated that if I cancelled at such a late date I would be refunded $0. I refused and alerted Airbnb support of these misleading requests. At 10pm my tour was still confirmed in the app. I contacted Support to find out whether I should go or not and indicted that I'd be uncomfortable giving my business to this cheating person. It was finally resolved near midnight. Far too late to be able to plan a different activity. Chris could have modified the tour in any number of ways for a small group - length, activities included, places visited. Or he could have cancelled when he said he would and pay the very appropriate 5$ penalty. Instead, he chose to really maximize frustration and time lost, leave me hanging, and make it impossible to adjust our plans. Don't count on Chris to delivery the product you've purchased, and don't count on him to be respectful of your time and energy.

In mid October my wife and I had signed up and paid for the walking tour of Nice. We were instructed to meet at a large fountain and look for a tour operator wearing a yellow shirt with the company logo. With these instructions we set off from our hotel. We arrived to the indicated fountain 20-minutes early. We were on a constant look-out for this "Yellow" shirt. The indicated time came and went without any sighting of the tour operator which one would think would be easy to spot in a "YELLOW" shirt. 20-minutes after the indicated time we were concerned and frustrated so we went to a nearby travel agency to use their phone to call the contact number we had. We called numerous times with no luck. We then gave up and proceeded back to our hotel. Later that day my wife was able to contact the tour operator and we were basically told he was there and he was wearing "Yellow" shirt. This was a simply inaccurate statement. Yellow is a color that stands out and we would have easily spotted it. At any rate this operator told us no refund would be given. Very unprofessional and disappointing. In conclusion I would not recommend this company for their services advertised. Their unwillingness to be understanding and at least try to work out an agreement is more of a testament of their principles and values than the actual service they provide. An otherwise dark mark on very pleasant visit to Nice.

Me and my friend Veni went for a short holiday break in Nice from London. As we did not know much about the town, we decided to book a walking tour on the first day, just to learn a bit about the history and the town and to be able to ask a local what things we could do around. Great walking tour of the city. The walking tour was exactly what we needed...not expensive, short and very informative. Chris not only showed us all the historical and beautiful places but he also gave us information where to go to eat or shop and at the end we even had a treat of a traditional bread, which Chris offered to us. It was so nice of him. 
I would definitely recommend his tour to anyone who is visiting Nice and would like to know more about it. 
Not only he is good looking, knowledgeable and polite, but he will also give you information about different things you would like to do there. Thank you Chris !!!

I highly recommend this Walking tour as it was so informative, enjoyable and fun that I wanted to stay in Nice more than I planned! Apart from the historical facts, Chris told us about living in Nice as a local, and you could really feel how much he loves his city. I think that this tour is well organized - the stories will definitely capture your attention as they are not too long and full of fun facts, we also had a break at the local cafe and could take photos on the way. Also, the list of local tips was a great help. Short and informative, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions/ take pictures along the wayI definitely recommend this walking tour to everyone

Chris is a great tour guide. My family joined Friday morning tour. Unexpected blockage around the meeting point due to music concert setting up resulted in our late arrival, but he communicated beforehand and even walked up to the place where we lost. He made everything smooth. The tour was informative backed up with rich historical background, which enabled us to understand the city's culture,and geology more. We've been to some small pretty streets as well as flower market and reached to the top of castle hill. It was really pleasant morning strolling with nice people.

Tour wurde 16 Stunden vor Beginn storniert, da zu wenig Anmeldungen vorlagen. Das hätte man auch eher wissen können. In der Tourbeschreibung stand auch nichts von Mindestteilnehmerzahl. Anbieter verweist darauf, dass er alternative Termine angeboten hat, aber wir wollten ja nicht wochenlang in Nizza bleiben. In einer privaten SMS erklärt er, er würde Geld verlieren, wenn er Touren mit wenigen Leuten durchführt. Um Gebühren zu vermeiden war die offizielle Begründung der Absage über GetYourGuide dann das angebliche schlechte Wetter (das Wetter war super)…

Chris led an excellent tour that was informative and funny with facts and stories aplenty. His loud voice and energy entertained and propelled the group onwards despite the sweltering sunshine. He also made sure that no-one was left behind! From the Opera and the Queen, past trompe l’oile, through the Old Town labyrinth to the Sun King and the Castle on the Hill, we left the tour to see the city with open eyes. Highly recommended.

We met Chris for a 5pm walking tour. There were only five of us on the tour, so it was very relaxed and easy to ask questions and hear what Chris was telling us. We learned so much about this beautiful city. The walking tour is fun AND beautiful.
Chris was an excellent guide and it is apparent that he is passionate about his home and heritage.

The tour was really fun and Interesting! Great engagemang and energy. He’s really passionate about the history of the area and was fun to listen to. The view we experineced during the tour was outstanding, that both included the beautiful beach of the city of Nice, the high mountains behind the city and even the harbour of Nice as well as an historical walk through the old city.

We took this tour on our first day in Nice so we could get acclimated to the town! Chris was great! He was positive & funny & had a passion for the history of the area. We were glad the tour included Castle Hill, We especially appreciated the restaurant recommendations that he gave. We ended up eating at three of the places he suggested! Thanks Chris!

Did this tour end of June on a beautiful hot sunny day. Chris was our tour guide and I have to say that we enjoyed every minute of his tour. Christopher the guide loves his city and that comes through and he is funny and makes the tour really enjoyable. His English is great and this tour is great value.

Our tour was a little short on people (four of us) and very informal. It was nice to see the place from a locals perspective and as with most walking tours you are shown things you probably walked past already 50 times without noticing.

Chris was fantastic. So much info about Old Nice and it's history with personal insight from his upbringing too. Chris even brought some of his mum's cooking for us to try (best Pissaladière of the whole trip). Definitely worth booking
