Friday night and the place was pleasantly full with a slightly older crowd of folk enjoying the beers. The best thing about the place is that it is a good place to talk - you aren't yelling at each other over the music. The beers are really good there is a huge range of interesting stuff and plenty to keep serious beer lovers happy but without being boring or intimidating. Nice atmosphere and a great place to have a chat and try a new beer now and again. Staff were all friendly and helpful even though it was pretty busy - thanks for that.

We have stopped in a half dozen times over the past year or two. Every time the beer selections have been great. Nibbles are also great and local flare is always welcomed, this last visit they were offering a 10% discount to Leeds 10k race medal holders. It is a busy intemate atmosphere and we will continue to visit whenever we stay in Leeds.

Great craft beer bar/brewery bar. Beware though, unusually for a craft beer place the prices aren't listed at all, so on both occasions I've been this weekend I've been warned "it's £8.70 a pint" etc. Basic stuff guys! any good craft beer bar needs to show the prices not just the ABV as they are always super expensive. This place is very expensive for a brewery tap so be aware, but North beers are lovely so worth it once in a while.
Went here off the back of all the other north brewery bars in Yorkshire. I loved it. Same great atmosphere as all the others and the staff are so willing to help you choose a beer from the many on offer. Been here a few times after and it's been the same.every time. The tunes are great too. Have not had the food so couldn't comment. But the blackberry and raspberry gose is worth losing a vital organ for a pint of.
Friendly welcome, accommodating and a great beer selection. Just missing a menu for the Belgian beers in the fridge. If you’re into your beer then the North Bar is a ‘must visit’ when in Leeds as it’s widely acknowledged as being one of the first craft beer bars in the U.K. No bookings are being taken at the moment, so you’re taking your chances with walk-ins but choose your time wisely and you should be ok.
On the craft beer to do list, called in yesterday a great range of beers cans, bottles and draught. Lovely staff and knowledgeable cool little bar too. Oh and a photo booth!! June 2019 We visited north bar for the third time in a year. The beers just keep getting better and more extensive. I enjoyed several De Molen beers and the obligatory photo booth. Can't wait to visit again.
Fab place for friends to meet and hang out! Good location, right in the city centre with good selection. They have both indoor and outdoor place. Nice and friendly staff, they are all very welcoming. Interesting decor and vibe. Their drink is really good. Although it is a bit pricy but the quality is obviously there!
Excellent range of drinks belgian beers, even 3 westmalles in bottle and saison du pont, clean draught beers, decent cocktails and long drinks also. Friendly staff, ocassionally table service on 2nd /3rd round of drinks, nice touch. Great for couples and small groups, nice atmosphere every time I've visited, …
One of the best places for craft ale in Leeds. Brilliant and often changing selection of beers with a good number of Whisky and Gin options too. Really relaxed, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere with staff always happy to help with drink suggestions. Devent variety of food options as well.
Good choice of drinks, could do with more space.

Great beer pub, a vast selection of beers and also good selection is spirits, they also have the best tequila EVER because every shot of tequila comes with a shot of "verdita" (made with fruits, hot sauce, tomato, mint, cilantro and pineapple)
Nice looking bar. Relaxed. Not too many people in. Truly dreadful fruit sour. Tasted like Amen aftershave by mugler. Managed about half a glass and had to leave the rest. Im northern. And i didn’t finish a £6 drink. Thats how bad it was
Once a great innovative bar that appears to have lost its soul, zero friendlyness or "warm fuzzies". Feels like a brew dog wannabe. Hopefully the smaller bars keep their individuality and prosper. The corporate feel does nothing for me!
I'd rate this place higher but it seems cash has gone off the menu which is very lame. Apart from it being legal tender, its a decision which makes management's jobs easier but means that staff tips are seriously depleted. Poor
Great beers, location and set up, although for me, the "franchise" aesthetic they run through every space they own is starting to feel OTT. Spaces need to be their own destination, not necessarily clones albeit good ones.
Omg. The cocktails. The beer. The service. If you're in Leeds you need to go here. F**k it. If you're anywhere in the UK you need to go here. Incredible music, incredible drinks and incredible service. Best bar ever.
North Bar was one of my first introductions to the Leeds beer scene. Since my first visit it has been a firm favourite. The staff are welcoming and enthusiastic and they always have a fantastic selection of beers.
One of my favourite bars in Leeds, not a hidden gem as such, but a great find! Friendly & knowledgeable staff with a vast selection of drinks, some great special lagers on tap each weekend too. Highly recommend!
One of the best bars in Leeds. I visited it in its opening week longer ago than I care to remember. Still retains the same chilled vibe years down the line. Firm favourite, wish I had the time to go more often.
Niche craft locally produced beers for all discerning drinkers. Friendly welcoming staff. Didn’t try the dim sum but it was available. Reasonable prices. Gluten free beers available Dogs welcome LGBT welcome
Popped in this aft - great selection of beers on tap. Tried to be persuaded to have a sour! Not on my watch Beer crisp and fresh. Nice feel to the place. Would call again if in the city.
The original craft beer pub in Leeds. What's not to like? Edit: Now full of staff who ignore you when stand patiently at the bar. Meh...

Nice place with plenty of interesting tap beers. No WiFi yet. This and the friends of ham were my 2 favourite places in Central Leeds
Been going years, always a great place to stop in for a beer or two, always have a diverse range of drinks from around the world.
