On 11 July 2022, 10:15 pm train from Flinders Street Station to Craigieburn - Cancelled due to some track faults. Result: Passengers told to take other trains (Upfield or Sunshine) to North Melbourne station and were told to wait for Train replacement buses. Situation: almost 200 passengers waiting for over 1 hour in freezing cold. Last lot of passengers picked up at 11:50pm after waiting for 1hour 20 minutes in mid-winter cold...!!! Station staff and authorised officers are not helpful but rather arrogant and unapologetic. Also yelling on top of their voice on customers who are tired and just waiting for over an hour in cold winter midnight wanting to reach home. Never experienced such pathetic customer service and service unreliability...!!!

There's plenty around here, which is a good thing. Platforms have varying widths (often wide enough for peak hours), changing platforms is also easy to access (using the original ramps or the escalators to the myki barriers), and plenty of vendimg machines if that's what you want. Also, there's customer service and toilets here along with other amenities you need in a station, it ticks all of those boxes. I somehow still had a phone connection even if others say they're left in the dark here. Overall, a clean retro station with all of thw amenities of today's stations.

North Melbourne Station has one of the most incredible locations and is just on the outskirts of the city meaning it is frequently used by people to change trains to head in different directions, as a second stop over or to get on a city loop train. It accommodates perfectly for how many people may be on each platform at each time and has entrances/exits on both sides of the platforms, as well as providing a ramp, lift snd escalators. It has the most beautiful view of the city with the cities landscape so clearly visible.

Station updated a few years ago but done on the cheap. Escalators to platforms vary in width (unknown why, plenty of room ). New entry is much better than original that was unfortunately closed. Toilet block at main entry is often vandalized, too small and usually filthy. Best features are ease of interchanging (far better than Flinders St or Spencer St. Site is excellent for viewing trains and Docklands area. When new metro line opens, this station will be correctly renamed West Melbourne.

North Melbourne railway station is located on the northern edge of the central business district of Melbourne, Australia. The station is a major interchange point with the Craigieburn, Flemington Racecourse, Sunbury, Upfield, Werribee and Williamstown lines all servicing the station. Great clean station. Excellent as it offers cross link train services similar to city stations so it can save a lot of precious time. Ramps, toilets, flat platforms, very mixed crowd of people attend this station. Station has a SAFE feel about it with PST offices always on duty. Excellent views over the city and surrounding suburbs. All lite up by lights.

This is the main train station connections train lines for upfield Broadmeadows watergarden and werribee recently upgraded now looks brand new always outstanding services lifts for wheelchair excesses nice view towards the coastal and does get busy on big days with buses connects from here.

The station is generally ok, you're not breathing in fumes like you are at Southern Cross, and if you need to interchange and switch lines it's fine, but the older end of the station, actually has better shelter then the newly developed part.

Located in at the west of the city, the North Melbourne station links all the northern and western train services to the CBD. Despite the significant number of people who use this service, the station is generally clean and well maintained.

North Melbourne is a large railway station with three main platforms. The platforms have undercover areas and are well lit. The Station gets extremely busy at times and there’s very little parking available nearby.

Interchange station for Craigieburn, Upfield, Sunbury, Werribee and Williamstown trains. Also a few V-Line services stop here. It's a pretty good station, with a mix of old and new. Trains are always on time

Platforms are exposed to rain/sun and cold wind. Only shelter at upstairs but small for this kind of stations. Also get crowded as the entry for all train in loop from west and north

Big train station in North Melbourne area very close to Docklands. Many connections in both directions and also small coffee shope available in here. Very bad mobile signal.

Broken escalators, several missed their trains due to the very long wait for a very small lift. I can't use the stairs due to injury... good luck if you are disabled!

Favourite station in Melbourne. frustrating getting between platforms and not very protected from the weather but departure boards and views of the city are lovely.

first station after city loop on the west lines. shaded waiting area is available, help desk is also available. during peak hours emergency staff is also present

Nice station - easy to maneuver around and find your platform blah, blah, blah...but the best part of this place is the great view you get of the Melbourne Star.

Easy to navigate yourself around this station however its extremely exposed and not enough shelter out of the rain in peak hour.

Great morning ride to work. Helpful if you missed a stop. Like how they call out ehich platform is going where and in how long.

Horrific timetable for the werribee service, train leaves early and forces people to run from the city train up the escalators.

Parking is easy to find just wait after 6.30pm or 12.30pm Saturdays. And walk towards city. Or if you want take the free tram.

It has a nice contrast of the new station and old station at each end of the platform. Felt like Richmond but smaller

Please fix women's toilets. Absolute disgrace, toilet blocked and basically unusable. Floor is messy and it stinks.

As a transport hub, North Melbourne station is all well and good. For phone signal though, it's a black hole!

The kiosk was a life saver and I had no idea where I was going, but was pointed in the right direction.
