When you've been going to the same mechanic for many years, it's difficult to choose a new one, especially when cats are not your specialty. This is the situation I found myself in when my long time mechanic fell into bad health and was forced to retire. I had been out of town for a month and needed some repairs done quickly and didn't have much time to look around before returning to work, so I just had to read some Google reviews and pick something close because I knew my car wouldn't make it far. I came in with an idea about what I might need thanks to a diagnostic my friend had got from AAA when I was away. Their mechanics checked a couple things, found the issue, and got me out of there in a couple hours and for hundreds of dollars cheaper than if they just did what that diagnostic said. They could've just replaced that other part for more money, and I'd have been right back in there soon to spend more to fix the real issue. But they didn't. And now they've got a customer for life. I definitely would not recommend this place to no one. I went in because my battery would not stay charged and it was an electrical problem. They charged me $125 to run an R&R voltage and harness test and they had no clue what the issue was. I didn't mind paying the $125 plus whatever I assumed they would say it would cost to fix the problem. But they charged me $125 and could not even give me a diagnostic. And all the owner Hector could say was that he had to do what he had to do to keep the business running. Make sure that when you come to this place, they can actually diagnose your problem, and not just charge you to run some tests and then not be able to resolve the issue.

One of the worst mechanic shops dishonest i had my engine replaced by them 5 months ago and already had it go out 4 times. The first time it was leaking oil because they improperly installed the gasket. Also upon taking it back for the 4th time they said water was in my gas tank which was a lie. i took it to the mechanic shop around the corner and it was just a bad oil pressure switch which caused my car to go in limp mode which was a 150$ fix. Hector is a scam artist beware he was trying to charge me 650$ saying the gas needed to be flushed but that was never the issue l!!! Stay away they are Scam artists!!

Horrible tried to price me 200$ over the local parts store for a new pcm ( power control module) witch is basically the brains to yer cars electrical ,that they claimed was my issue well they also planned on charging an additional 175$ to program my key to the pcm witch the new part comes ordered to your cars vin number and is pre programmed and then tried to charge 225$ in labor to do a 25 minute job and then charged me 230$ for diognostics and they were wrong the hole time it was the throttle positioning sensor cost me 26$ to fix it this place was a bad experience

This place was good at first... Until I spent 400 dollars with them.. Including tires... Very next morning one of the tires went flat on me (45 miles) from home! Bought my car back and not only did they try and charge me for another tire but the lady was rude, rushing my decision of either keeping the tire that went flat, that is now "pressure good" (due to my expensive ass fix a flat) I will never spend another dime here, ever!

Absolutely amazing! I was on vacation when my transmission failed and they were not only quick but made the whole process easy and as stress free as it could be. Would recommend them to anyone looking for great service and quality work. Out of all the estimates I got, they were also the cheapest! It’s a win all around ◡̈

I got my car serviced here and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. It went very smooth, they did the work in a timely manner, and they were very easy to work with. I have been bringing my personal and business vehicles to northgate for 12 years. They all know me and my vehicles. They do awesome work. I live 20 miles from Northgate, but when i need to get my vehicles repaired, I drive pass many mechanic shops to go there. I will not let any other shop work on my vehicles.

Someone recommended this place to me. I drove my car there. There was no where to park and when I called a lady answerd and started speaking English then when I asked my question she started speaking Spanish and hung up. I left and found a new mechanic.

Unhelpful, I was broke down Wednesday tow truck seamed to force this place upon us they were short unhelpful and a little rude didn't seem to want or business from the first words on the phone so we took it somewhere else

My husband likes them. Their prices are good, and they fix things right. They do tend to keep vehicles for a few days, and they don't have enough parking, because they have too many customers.

My car was over there for 3 Weeks literally Told me they fixed the problem I drove the car Seconds later car shut off on me I don’t recommend them at all save yourself the time
