This is one of the busiest community libraries in the city, partially because of the three schools across the field. If you come after 4 pm, every seat is full. But it's nice and quiet in the mornings! The kids area has a lot of seating and great play space. The librarians are always friendly and super helpful. 3 program rooms are spacious and you can reserve them. Stacks are low enough for an adult to see over and lit from inside, making it easy to read book spines. Children's books are arranged so books are easily visible. Self checkout machines work great, and automatic return is handy. The computers are usually busy. There's a printer and photocopier; your library card gives you some free pages every month.

terrible library. I was doing schoolwork with 10 minutes until closing when I was harassed and rushed to pack up my belongings by multiple librarians. I had to use the washroom on the way out, and when i got to the entrance of the bathroom facilities i had to essentially negotiate with one of the workers to urinate in the stalls. My friend was waiting outside the washroom when i heard them telling him to stand outside in the cold instead of waiting in the library's doors. Upon exiting the building without any resistance, the librarians yelled "BYE" at us rudely. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A STUDENT AND VALUE YOUR DIGNITY.

Love this neighborhood library with high ceiling and great lights. The youth and children's section is very cozy and have kids toys/drawing/craft material depends on the season. There's a semiclosed off corner for infant/tots with some sensory element and seating cubes, a lot of thoughts for different seating arrangement for families, which is appreciated by lots of users. The librarians are nice and helpful. We mainly use it for kids book and they have a good selection. Definitely recommend for family with kids.

Nice place to study and the layout of the library is designed well with lot of natural sunlight. The library hour are perfect. I dont think I have any cons to tell. Only thing is maybe for people who do combined studying please take into consideration that there are other people trying to study and we are not there to listen to your personal stories. Overall its a good environment to study with lot of options and also the books are organized in a manner that is easy to find. Also the customer service is so good.

Havn't been here for a few years but turns out my cards still valid. Went to use the printer since my personal one is streaking due to an internal error. I have never used their system before and for some reason my documents were stuck in queue. Thank you so much to front desk for helping me out every step of the way! I understand how tedious it can be to teach something involved with technology, especially when it doesn't work the first time.

I absolutely love studying there. it is really amazing experience. There is so much room and full with lots of opportunities to better yourself. The only downside is the homeless people who come in to get warm in the winter. The bathrooms although well kept you will run into questionable people inside but security usually says on top of it to make sure people are safe.

I love this place! It's been rough due to the pandemic and not being able to enjoy all the library services, but even still, this is one of my favorite places to take my toddler. Amazing and helpful staff, great displays, thoughtful organization of the children's books that draws the little ones in, and lots of cozy little nooks for reading.

It's not that noisy with kids, although some areas does look like a childcare facility. The library is clean, tidy, and very bright. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. Printing service was also available in this covid situation, with deducted amount of computers still open for use. Would recommend a visit.

Very well thought out COVID-19 practises just like anywhere else in the city right now. Everyone inside was following the guidelines, and the staff kept people accountable which is good. Speaking of the staff, they are so friendly and helpful with everyone they interact with. I love going to the library.

Lovely and bright library, and the staff is really nice. However, I come here to read and study for exams, and the level of noise from the kids area is absolutely crazy loud and disrupting everyone around - is this a daycare or a library? I wish the library staff would do more to reduce the kids' noise.

Friendly staff, lots of seating inside. The layout is very bright and open! For kids there are blocks, duplo to build, reading nooks, things to climb and play with. There’s even a fun scavenger hunt with animal cutouts to do with little ones around the kids area. Definitely should check it out!

Quiet atmosphere and a lot of choices for seating and private meeting spaces, considering the limited space of the building - a very spacious atmosphere thanks to the huge windows and modern design ornaments hung at the ceiling - also an accessibility computer for people in wheelchairs.

  • Victoria Leong

Went here when I was studying for exams. The environment was pretty ok, but the noises from the children’s play area could be heard even within the confides of the closed room. Books are also scarce here. Overall, not a bad library, but you would be better off somewhere else.

Bright space, kind staff and lots of books! There are plenty of computers (both plugged and Chromebooks), space to sit and photocopiers. A great children's space with a huge selection of picture books and chapter books. A decent amount of YA novels and graphic novel section.

We were there for the meeting room I had reserved on the Calgary Library web site for a 2 hours session. The room is superbly equipped with a large flat screen, tables, seats and a white board. All you need for a very productive meeting, and this is exactly what we had !

I like this library so much! I hope they provide more tables and chairs. The collections are great. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The place is clean, tidy and bright. Good place for studying. I also hope they fix the printers, it seems that they broke often.

This is a beautiful, bright library with a fabulous selection of books! I love coming here to pick up my holds, and most of the time I leave with a few extra books that caught my eye on the way through. The parking lot is huge, which is great if you are driving here.

  • Isabelle Larochelle

Love this place, beautiful library, very bright. The down side.... One lady who works there doesn't wear a mask only a shield. And if it is because she has medical condition she shouldn't be in contact with the public. It was stressful to watch her walk around...

  • Alex DiMattia

Have always had a great experience here. Book holds almost always arrive when the email says it will, the staff are friendly and helpful when you have a question, and they're in a good location. I can easily walk there and back home to get good exercise.

  • Michelia Alba

I went there in the morning and it was not crowded. The library is not that big but I can find lots of good new books. The staff was also very nice when I asked info about membership card. The books also placed in good location and easy to find.

  • Leah Beech

Very nice library, bright and lots of seating spaces. There are very few plug-ins near tables though, which makes it difficult to complete work on a laptop if I need to charge it. Some floor plug-ins would be awesome for the wide-open areas.

  • Juliana M

I love all the updates they’ve added to this branch in the last few years. The space is so clean and inviting compared to how it used to be. I definitely recommend visiting and taking advantage of their free services!

  • Jonathan Dardon

Great spot to visit with the kids. There are many things to explore and they have events worth visiting. Many resources to use. Highly recommend visiting, especially on days when the kids don't have classes.

  • Fiona Wei

The best library we have ever visited. They have different play stations for my preschoolers. My kids can play there for half of day and ask to go back again and again. Thank you for being so considerate!

  • Rebekka Paslawski

A smaller branch but one of my favourites in the city. The kids area always has lots of different options to play with. Staff are great and the registered programs have always exceeded my expectations.

  • Matthew Mccorquindale

I was just sitting and I was minding my own business at a table with computers. and some rando who May work here said if your not using move or use it. He was wearing a red cap and pladed T-shirt.

So much to love! An ideal tutoring environment (I see numerous tutoring lessons here) and a fantastic family weekend learning place. I love the organization of books and the friendliness of staff.

Had to print a few things-and after failing twice yesterday at Crowfoot library-tried this location. Easy, quick, and clean. Lots of seating, natural light, avail computers and staff. Thank you.

  • Sarah Bauerlein

They have an amazing selection of books (both new and good quality)! The libraries in Calgary are far superior to Kelowna. I'm now in my happy place and will be using this library so much!!

  • Khalid Mashal

Great place to study and update your knowledge with their wonderful resources. It is a little crowded but worth to wait or grab a book and study and bring it back.

  • Ivan Sierralta

As in all library branches the place is set up to help patrons get the most out of space and their time, and staff is tremendously helpful and supportive.
