Sadly, I cannot say that the same standard remains. Shocking service from the barmen. I was followed into the ladies bathroom by a creepy man who was not dealt with by security but rather by 2 gentleman at the bar - thank God they were there. This happened twice on separate occasions. The owners did nothing. From such an "upper-class" establishment to quite a run down mess. Very disappointing.

360° Transformation from the Old Sunrise. With the Lighting Ambiance the veil of Darkness had literally been lifted. The Jukebox & Car are the main attractions. The interior & Exterior Decor is Very tastefully done. Huge selection of food offerings in the Menu from Burgers to Samoosa to Pizza. You can Smoke a Hubbly, Play Some pool, hit a few dance moves. The Owner Suraaj takes immense pride & joy in ensuring smooth operations by being present as much as he can be. Stanley the security who has been there for over 20 years ensures Complete safety of your vehicles & Of customers who enter. An amazing place to chill with Qork colleagues, Work team buildings or with old friends.

I am usually very open minded when it comes to going out places but this place just isn't for me. Constantly cramped and difficult to try get around, bathrooms are also almost constantly full. The only plus side in my opinion are the decently priced drinks (if you ever do manage to get one). Keep vigilant and safe if you consider going, have had quite a few incidents just outside the club, had a friend's phone get swiped from here just last week. They do have pool tables which is always a plus for me but you probably won't be able to get a chance due to the congestion. Gambling room at the back as well if interested.

Excellent venue and great food (except for the pizza - it's store bought cardboard tasting bases) and the cocktails are a COMPLETE letdown. They are very light on alcohol (the absolute opposite of what a cocktail is supposed to be) and some did not seem to have any alcohol in at all! That's not a good approach to take guys. Disappointing... And unfortunately they do not care about the reviews nor have they made an effort to change this. It's a pitty because it has genuine potential. Beer and pure shooters and stick to burgers. Do that and it's great.

I'm not usually someone you would find at a bar but I was intrigued to try Nova Bar. Once we walked in, we were stoked to find a fully stocked bar with cosy couch corners. Couch corners = privacy from lingering eyes. We ordered afew cocktails. Tokyo Joes Iced Tea, Miami Iced Tea, Liquid Cocaines and Peach Crush. They were all refreshingly tasty! They tasted like juice so you know they're dangerous. But they were so good. Customer service was on point, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go again!

This is a nice place to go with friends Good food, prices are reasonable, atmosphere is awesome & nice seating places. If you in the Randburg area or close by & want to have a good time, I'd definitely recommend popping in at Nova Bar

Went there today, they have this bouncer at the door that looks like a black Freddy Krueger with a messed up face, he was very rude to me in the gambling room he was actually telling me to get out of the gambling room to go seat on the other side he was very rude and I felt very uncomfortable, don't think I'll be going back there again. Sorry nova bar that bouncer of yours with a screw face is very rude train him for good customer service.

Been here a few times and I always have a great time. The drinks are a bit pricey but the atmosphere makes up for it. The only problem I've ever had was when I hired a hubbly pipe and was given the wrong flavour. The waiter refused to acknowledge the mistake but I let it go because I was having a good time. Other than that, Nova is a great place with a good vibe - perfect for a chilled night out with friends.

The waitstaff and management seem to be involved in a scheme, imposing undisclosed "service fees" during sit-in experience. The lack of receipts conceals this, I'm sure a lot of customers have unknowingly fell victim to these extra charges, which you'll only see once You demand receipts.

This is a nice spot for some drinks and pool on a warm evening. The security is extensive and the bouncers are always watching for mischief. There are only two pool tables so if you do want to do that then I would suggest going early. Not a area for smokers. The drinks are good prices.

This bar advertises hours from 10am. Went at 13:00pm still closed. Called the owner who said "I am busy with my admin so come back later". Appalling. Do not go there (especially with all the rumors about the place...)

The place looks stunning. Great effort in the revamp. Challenge is that while sitting have a drink I got a strong smell of weed being smoked in the place. So seems its still a place for those who like the high life.

The owner spent a millions to revamp the place. But choses to employ rude Indian barman from India with really bad attitudes. This will damage this business.

What a stunning makeover! So nice to have such a stylish joint in this quiet area! Menu is loaded with a vast majority of drinks. Owner really upped his game and this place deserves the support!

A nice looking venue on the inside. This tiny centre overall does make it look a bit dodge, but Nova Bar itself looks stylish and modern on the inside. Small secured parking area with a guard.

This place looks very nice but the service is the worst! The waitors serve like they're forced to serve, not even friendly at all.
