My dog is honestly, terrible. He had a bad neglectful puppyhood which has resulted in severe anxiety. On my first visit to this vet, I had not realized that the main entrance was on a main road. I called and asked if I could come in through the back because my dog freaks out. The girl at the front counter was so sweet and walked outside to get my dog. Then the vet referred me to a great specialist for his anxiety. She also made sure that the front of the clinic was empty before he walked through because she knew that he was anxious about the other dog in the front entry because he was crying at the door. My dog is embarrassingly bad and when his anxiety peaks, he is uncontrollable. They did not even care and were so nice. Plus, the vet diagnosed my dog properly and did not try to up-sale me like commercial clinics do. He had a simple doggy cold and just needed cough medication. In and out, no fuse. Reasonable prices. <3
Best vet experience ever. The staff are all lovely and genuinely caring - Dr Karen is exemplar at what she does - you can tell she loves and respects animals and her understanding of their psycho-social behaviours is amazing and instructive. This is not a practice that seeks to fleece (pardon the pun) the client - you can tell they are very ethical when it comes to price. As a relatively new client, they could have charged me extra for a home visit to treat an anxious cat that ended up having to be finalised at the clinic as my cat was too anxious to be handled at home - my cat was returned post-treatment with no extra charge, and Dr Karen even called to let me know the cat had arrived at the vet's safely and was doing well - at a time of the evening when she should have been home with her own family. All respect for Nundah Village Veterinary Clinic.
I’ve tried writing an accurate review about three times now, but nothing compares to the experience I had at this clinic. After having to take my cat to the emergency clinic in Kedron the other night, I was advised to book follow up appointments to monitor my fur baby. I did a tiny bit of research and found this clinic - and I’m so glad I did. The care and attentiveness by all staff is outstanding. I booked online and they called within a few hours to ask if I could come in earlier as the info I supplied was a bit concerning. They offered for me to drop her in as soon as I had a chance & keep her for the day for observations, and were extremely upfront with costs & possible options for my cat - two things I value highly. I’m just so impressed at my experience at this clinic so far. I’m so thankful for their help with my girl.
My cats and I have been seeing dr. Seungho Kim for years now, at the Newfarm clinic first and at the Nundah Village now (and at their sister clinic in Cleveland too). The service has been always outstanding and well beyond expectations, no rush and taking the time required even for a friendly chat. I have used the clinic for vaccinations but also to tackle several specific issues. I also use the clinic to see a lady who does teeth cleaning without anaesthetic, terrific. All the vet and nurses there are very kind and compassionate and dedicated and knowledgeable, providing counseling, consulting, tips and suggestions sometimes I wish it would be the same in the human field! Prices are fair, there is a convenient parking on the street or at the back. Dr. Seungho is my pet star! With much love and respect, Barbara
Poor customer experience Took my pup in to get her final C3 vaccination, after seeing the same vet 4 weeks earlier to get her second vacc and get her stitches from desexing out. Here's why it was a bad experience for me: - The vet asked me what I planned to do about getting my pup desexed (the same vet had taken the stitches out 4 weeks earlier) - The vet asked me if I needed any info around flea and tick control; we had the same conversation previously - The vet kept me waiting 10 mins after my appointment even though there were no other customers in the clinic the whole time I was there (I arrived 10 mins early) - After I'd paid, I had to ask the vet nurse to provide me the vacc certificate. Unless you have an appointment with the owner/senior vet, I'd stay away from this place.
I have never left a review for any business before but the service at Nundah Village Vets has been absolutely sensational. We have a frequent flyer pup who has always been taken care of incredibly well with compassion and genuine kindness. We are consistently amazed at how above and beyond the team goes for us and our little boy. They even sent him a Christmas treat in the mail! A big shoutout to Meg who always greets us with a smile and checks in on our pup. We recently had a surgery completed at another vet (emergency) and she even called us to just make sure he was okay. 100% recommend anyone to take their pets here :)
I've taken my dog Captain here for almost a year now. Between the easy parking and friendly atmosphere I can't fault their service. Even when it came time to organise my pet insurance claims they were able to provide everything I needed by email in an expedited fashion. Despite all that I think the best way to put stock into a Vet is from the pet's point of view. Once I had to take Captain for Xrays and we came just before opening hours with the doors were closed. He became quite upset he couldn't climb the steps and enter the Vet. When your dog is upset they can't enter their vet, I feel you have a great vet.
AMAZING staff and practice. There was an emergency with my dog and despite it being late on a saturday afternoon Brigitt and Meg kept the clinic open and attended to my dog who is a boxer who had badly hurt his eye. The girls were so professional and knowledgeable and did everything they could to assist my dog. After 12 hours of starting the treatment, my dogs eye had significantly improved . They even followed up by phone on their next operating day to see how he was . Great Service, Great People, Great Expertise - I highly recommend the team and will definately be back. Thank you so much . Kindest Janice
Seriously our favourite vet! The nurses and doctors there are always so kind and gentle in handling our pup and they are the first vet where I’ve seen dogs dragging their owners to enter the clinic, including my own pup and she was going in for her vaccinations! The doctors and nurses are also very polite and sincere in discussing results and options with us. They always remember us and the pets that visit them. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, kindness and sincerity. Thank you for always taking such good care of our little one and for being our friends.
Odyssey (Odzie) and I have always been greeted by smiles and happy people at Nundah Village Veterinary Clinic. The team here are amazing, patient and caring. And this is nice for someone like me with a very hypo alert kelpie x that has no off switch. Their after care is above and beyond always checking in to make sure your pet/your mate is doing ok when they are sick or sore, they understand life gets busy and will remind you when worming and check ups are due so it's a yes from me, highly recommended.
Lovely, friendly staff with a very caring and gentle bedside manner. I have a very skittish, 16 year old cat that is terrified of going to the vet and they made sure they were as delicate and gentle with her as possible. They were able to take a blood test, process it at the clinic and have the results to go over with us after only a short wait. They also have a good selection of prescription food and pet treats on-site which is very useful. Thanks very much for taking such good care of our girl ❤️
Stopped coming here after vet deliberately ignored my request not to inject my dog in the neck, as he is needle phobic and has anxiety. Once was enough to never come back. He became even more fearful of injections for months after (was on a vaccine for allergies) and made it very difficult to continue his treatment. Totally unnecessary, deliberate, and was very rude and highly defensive after. Why be a vet if you don't care about the animals wellbeing and deliberately hurt them?
Karen and the team have helped both me and my dog Buck so much. Buck has become very familiar with the vet office (unfortunately) but we were encouraged early on to visit and hang out even if we didn’t have an appointment. And now Buck will run to get in the door so he can jump on the scale and get some ‘dog lollies’. All of the team are genuinely caring and I have absolutely no hesitations leaving my precious little man in their care when he needs to stay the day.
My little dog, Rafiki, recently went in for a teeth clean and a blood screen. She ended up having six teeth extracted too. All the staff at Nundah Vets were absolutely fantastic, and after picking up my doggo in the afternoon, I left feeling very confident that she had been treated with the absolute highest level of care. Thank you to everyone at the clinic for your wonderful service. (And Rafi received a lovely bandana and a 'cutest patient' award.)
Have been here twice now and both times the standard has been exceptional. The vet nurses are friendly and very welcoming and just seem genuinely happy to be there, and the two vets I've seen have both been knowledgeable and kind and my sooky boy responded very well to both of them. The standard and service is just exponentially better than what you get at these chain places. Lifetime vet for sure - thank so much Nundah Village Vets!
Visit Nundah Village Vet was a pleasure recently. They are fantastic to talk to and very reasonable on price. When I collected our Kalpie cross after her surgery I expected to see her a little shaken as she normally is at a vet but I was delighted to see that although still woosey and tiered she was still very happy being in the company of such wonderful people. We will be using this vet from now on. Great work.
I have taken my partner's mother's dog here twice in the last month, once for regular checkup and shots, and once when she injured herself - not really sure how - but she was in pain and afraid. The vet and her assistant put both of us at ease and her treatment on both occasions but particularly when Annie had torn some muscles in her back and rear left leg was excellent. Cannot praise them enough.
Highly recommends. All the staff are very kind and patient. They provided a lot of explanations and related information when I was not clear. Haru recovered quickly with their careful care. Also, the subsequent greeting call made me feel very warm and also show their sense of responsibility. Thank you to all the staff at this vet for their care. Give more than five-star rating!
Extremely friendly staff, Karen is very understanding, compassionate and caring. I often take my rats for respiratory problems and sometimes miscellaneous issues. Every medicine I've gotten has worked wonderfully since the vet seems more experienced with exotic pets than other places I've tried. Karen is the most kindhearted and wonderful vet I've ever seen and heard of ❤️
Exceptional, goes well above what any other would, caring and follows up on my cats progress… cost was more than reasonable… ($500) another vet suggested $10k or having her euthanised..Nundah Vet is the reason my cat Merle is still alive (& very well) today .Highly recommend… l now wouldn’t go any where else. Thanks all at Nundah Village Vet for saving my cats life.,
This vets is amazing. I used to go to their other clinic in New farm and have come to the conclusion that they are all fabulous. My cat was both boarded here for a weekend and had vet appointments and the lovely ladies couldn't do enough for us. I have absolute faith that my cat gets the best care possible here and highly recommend them to everyone.
Always feel so taken care of here. Have heard a few people complain lately that this vet is expensive but I think it's very reasonable. You receive personal service, from people who care and remember you each time you come in. Murphy is always excited to come to the vet - and I 100% believe it's because of the wonderful staff here. Thank you ❤
We brought our elderly cat to them for the first time and were blown away by the care and time they spent. Following appointments were the same, not at all rushed and they took the time to really explain what was going on and all treatment plans. We were so relieved that we found someone that cared about our boy as much as we do!
On 18 August, my regular vet was unavailable so went to Nundah. I had made the heartbreaking decision to euthanais my precious little dog who was 15 years old. The staff were so very caring, understanding and compassionate. The whole experience was made easier by their approach towards me and Woofie. I can't thank them enough.
We love love love Nundah Veterinary Clinic. We have an extremely anxious greyhound and all the staff are amazing with her. At first we couldn’t get our beautiful girl in the front door. Now she waltzes in with no problem. A huge thanks to all the staff for making a trip to the vet an enjoyable experience for our Ruby
Small clinic has the advantage of knowing you and your pets quite personally. Very understanding and do the very best by your pet, up front with costs and understanding of budgets. Dedicated and loving staff. Have always felt welcome and comfortable enough to board our animals with them too.
Took my newly adopted cat in for her first routine check up. Friendly staff and caring service from the vet and was happy to answer any questions. Zoe (my cat) seemed pretty at ease and comfortable with what I was worried might be a stressful experience. Thank you and see you next time!
The most caring and honest vet I’ve been to in a long time, Brigitte was so patient with my anxious dog and I could tell she really cared for her, will be returning with her for sure! Every time we visit the staff are super friendly and helpful. Love the whole practice ❤️
Very good with our cat when she was having ear troubles. Got her booked in for the cattery later this year and hopeful she'll get the same great treatment. Always love seeing how well loved and known Shamrock is by all staff. Thank you all for the love and care given.
Had a bad experience with our last vet but this place was great. Very thorough consulting, went into detail with everything and good prices. Put all our worries at ease and wanted to keep in touch about our dogs needs by phone. Couldn't ask for better.
The team here have shown extreme compassion, care, empathy and professionalism with my senior chihuahua who has passed and continue to demonstrate the same care with my new puppies. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone and everyone is the area.
Hands down the best veterinary clinic! Vet, Brigitte Roos, is amazing – she's compassionate, down-to-earth and sincere. In the 15-16 years with my dog, she was the best vet we've been to. Thanks Nundah Village Veterinary Clinic.
Seeing Dr. Karen is a must. She was great with our new pup, informative and approachable. The vet nurse/reception is always friendly and helpful here too. Parking right in front or plenty available on the street at the back.
The staff at Nundah Village vet are genuinely so passionate about caring for animals, they go above and beyond every time. Their customer service is also exceptional, they are easily my favourite vet clinic for my cat.
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They assisted with the stray cat I found who I've decided to adopt. This cat was in bad shape and is now doing very well thanks to the wonderful staff. Highly recommended!
Happy with communication. Some initial confusion over quoted price for surgery but these guys clarified and accommodated us. Very happy with the care given to our dog. Thank you Karen for your assistance.
The most caring and kind vets and vet nurses!! I've had to change vet surgeries twice before finding this brilliant surgery. Thank you to all the staff for always taking great care of our puppy Ziggy.
Have been to this vet for years with cats and dogs, great friendly service and reasonable prices. Only vet I've ever been to where dogs will pull their owners along in a rush to get inside too.
Our dog Minnie has been coming to this clinic for years - the staff are soo gentle and kind, always doing an amazing job. She even received a beautiful necktie after her groom today :)
Dr Karen and her amazing staff genuinely care about your pet's well-being and also your own. They counsel every member of the family along the way with such compassion and care.
Friendly staff with a true passion and love for animals. The team are very informative and it's easy to book a slot. There's a car parking bay outside which is very handy.
Our two beautiful fur babies both came from this vet and were always well looked after by Karen and her team. We do miss the care since we have recently moved interstate.
My cat has been going to Nundah Vet for 11 years even though we now live on the south side! Great cat boarding. The staff are so kind. I wouldn't send my cat elsewhere.
The vet here was lovely, and made my super timid cat feel more relaxed than I've ever seen her around a new person. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Just got back from the clinic and I’m impressed. All the staff were professional, friendly, and the cost was very fair. I really recommend these guys!
The staff and vets are lovely. However they do advocate for commercial pet food. It would be good if they could propey explore balanced raw feeding.
Thank you Dr Seungho Kim Very knowledgeable and helpful doctors, Friendly and caring staff highly recommend this Vet clinic for everyone …
Excellent service here. I wouldn't like to take my dog anywhere else other than here. The vets and nurses are very caring and understanding!! 10/10

Best vet. Always happy with everything they have done for my two dogs. They are great with following up after appointments as well
Really as good as all the other 5 star reviews make it out to be. The Vet really cares about their practice, and your pet.
Dr Karen is fantastic when it comes to Great Danes and other large breed dogs. Extremely knowledgeable and reassuring.
An Outstanding vet clinic , the care and compassion shown by everyone is second to none. Two big thumbs up .
