Great place for a private family fun. the beach is far from the cabana due to the dredging activities in the area. The beach current is kinda rough and very strong. I almost downed one time. A lot of care should be taken if you would be swimming near this beach! Overall, great sand, great beach volleyball experience. also, watch out for broken bottles... they are somewhere there... and of course, the coconut water was amazing!

The place has a beach that is serene and away from town. Irrespective of the fact that the place is very far from the main town, the place doesn't look like it is being cared for. The museum has relics from Obafemi Awolowo's time and it is a beautiful history to want to know. However, the tour guide rushed the tour. It is best to leave for the site very early so you can make it back on time.

Very serene, the beach is quite with lots of sea shells, went there for a charity event (Siddiqah street kitchen), we feed about 2,000 people in the community. The community needs development, spoke to a woman and she said they have not had electricity in the last 10 years. Check @my streetkitchen on IG to see pictures of the event.

It's a very good atmospheric conditioning and welcoming institute that one needs to take his/her child/ren or schools to know and learn about the history and publicity of Chief Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo. And the serenity is so calm

My visit was memorable. I saw the chains used on slaves during the slave trade. Saw the tomb of Mr Lecqi, whom Lekki in Lagos was named after. The museum has a beautiful beachfront when one can relax after a visit to the museum.

This is a wonderful location nestled in ibeju lekki away from d hustle and bustle of mainland lagos. This place hold part of revered Awo history while under house arrest. An historical place to visit and highly recommended.
