If this is the same Okra as the one across the road, then something has gone very wrong. The food was average, nothing special, it was expensive for what it was. We ordered the prawn salad, it was 2 prawns and a handful of mixed leaves for $26. The salt and pepper calamari entree was ok. It was a shame as Okra used to be really good. More

Disappointing. Food just ok. Rendung was good. Very small serve. Curry puffs were good. Dumplings were ordinary. Roti was sad and soggy. Un edable. And rice? You could more generous. Just don't re-heat our remaining in the microwave and same with roti! The worst roti. Mortified. More

Okra food is always fantastic. What was particularly helpful is we had a, vegetarian without eggs and milk, with us, and they were able to cater for their unique requirements. So helpful. We had the magic blue to purple tea that was so much fun for a big group More

Okra is an institution in Camberwell. This Malaysian Restaurant is trendy, upmarket and authentic. The Sunday hawker lunch is exceptional. It is real soul food. Stand out dishes are the Poh Pia, Yee Tow Mai Fun (fish head noodles) and Yong

Meal size small (lunch), the curry puffs are extremely small (almost a fake advertisement if you compare them against the photos), I consider it expensive if you take in count how much food you get. The attention is good and good taste More

In my search for the best Singapore Noodles in Melbourne since the closure of the famous Kun Ming restaurant in China town I tried Okra in the Camberwell Junction. I ordered take-away and was impressed by only waiting for 5 minutes for my

Super friendly attentive service. Happy to modify to individual preferences. Free table water. Reasonable prices and portions. The experience was great. Food - 4 stars, the excellent accommodating service gives it the fifth star to try to

This is our favourite restaurant for our monthly catch ups. The new restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. The food is always fresh with wonderful flavours. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Stumbled across Okra when looking for a place to take a visit friend out for dinner. The decor looks great, when we arrived the place was completely empty and we did have our doubts but by the time we left I'd say it was half full. I had

Currently about to move into a new building which I will definitely try out. Wasn't too impressed with this place it was not clean, the door was locked when we arrived at 5.25pm, I went to the bathroom & the lights upstairs were off. the

Been there several times this year and was back last night with the kids who took me out for Father’s Day. Daughter and I shared a banquet while son chose vegetarian dishes. Staff were fantastic, pointing out the vegetarian options that

Used to rate this place years ago and came here for lunch recently. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the quality and taste of the food for the high price paid. The Popiah had a good filling however was more like a wrap. Char Kway

We highly recommend Okra for a great meal, a friendly environment, and a feel-at-home atmosphere! We started by sharing an entree of Vegetarian Spring Rolls and Five-Spice Soft Shell Crabs. Mains were Vegetarian Pad Thai, Beef Rendang

The service was probably the worst I've ever experienced. Communication was woeful. We had to follow up our drinks order 4 times before we finally got them after our mains had arrived. Then we had to follow up 1 entree and main which

Stumbled upon this place Saturday during lunch time, and really enjoyed it. We had a spot of tea and some lunch. The food was really amazing, the tea was also lovely, and the hosts and staff were super friendly. There was also live

Food was very enjoyable, albeit a bit expensive for what you get. For example 1 x Duck San Choy Bow, was priced at $11.00 for what amounted to a table spoon of mixture on a lettuce leaf. Still it was very tasty.

Amazing as always. The staff are genuinely friendly, the food fresh and flavoursome and the atmosphere spot on. Music isn’t too loud and. Lighting is perfect if you have kids that are ND. More

Over the years I've been here with different friends half a dozen times. The food and service have been consistently good so I'm really glad to see it survived the Covid lockdowns of 2020.

Ordered the chilli crab for a birthday party. The Okra team went to the market the morning of and collected excellent fresh crabs. The other accompanying food was also delicious.

Had my birthday here and had the best time . Food was amazing and vibes right up there with the best. Everyone is so nice and the food selection was perfect for sharing.

Really delicious food and pretty good service. The char kuey tiao that I got has soy sauce, chilli oil and homemade sambal on the side so you can adjust it to your taste!

Super delish food, very authentic Malaysian and Thai food. It’s my first time but I’m definitely coming back here again. Totally lives up to it’s name for 1 chef hatted.

  • Aman Sehgal

Loved the food served at Okra. The quantity is sumptuous and the taste is very authentic. They’ve a lot to choose form in their menu, something for everyone.

  • Daniel Tan

Good Malaysian restaurant. Been visiting this place for several years. The Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang is very good, the gravy is rich, beef is tender

  • David Laird

Dont bother with this place. Go somewhere for a decent meal. People nice enough, food ready for collection in a timely manner. That's the good part.
