Excellent fenced and gated playground for kids of all ages and abilities. Water playground in the warmer months, shade over the main playground (although not over the area for the smaller kids). Soft fall ground and play mound structure (some fall hazards but I've never seen a fall happen). Large sand play area also, so may be best to bring a change of clothes if kids will be playing in sand and water areas! Seating with tables is limited but shaded, plenty of places to sit without tables. Vision across the whole playground is limited unless you're at a height or have multiple adults. Parking is easy enough on a weekday (not sure about weekend). Something for kids from walking age to pre-teen (or older if still interested in playing), but best and easiest experience for parents with kids 3-10 years old). New toilet block next to playground. Very easy to spend an entire day here.

Lovely accessible playground to bring the family. The water play is a great addition for the hot summers day, usually a bit of a wait to get on a swing so good practise in patience for your little one. The closest food option is a convenience store at the opposite corner of the park so make sure you bring what you need. Would be good to have a shower with fresh water to rinse off before getting into the car.
Playground
Good variety of accessible playground equipment, a few key things missing such as double gates on the road access points and the sandpit doesn't look as if it is cleaned as regularly as it should be.
Dog-friendliness
Dogs aren't allowed into the playground section which is sad to not be able to have them around

  • Linda Google

Great park, however, not enough shady seated areas, so there is a higher chance of people getting sunburnt. The restrooms can get nasty on busy days, so it would be great if the council had them cleaned regularly throughout the weekends. Plus, 3 cubicles for hundreds of people aren't sufficient, so they need to look at expanding this

Went today in 35 degree weather and the water in the park wasn’t on. So many families coming with their kids in swimmers and the after park splash section wasn't on . the heat was awful and kids had no way to cool off which is why parents take their kids there in summer . The splash section . What a let down for all the families who planned a day in the water section with no water . Your tax dollars at work to build the water section and then they don’t switch it on. The button the activate it wasn’t working either . Ridiculous Tax tax tax and stupidity in return .

I love the newly finished playground, spacious, diverse and fenced. The only reason I didn't rate it as 5 stars is due to it lacking sufficient sun shades... There are two sun shades so far, a notice says that more are to be installed by the end on March 2019, so let's hope they install enough shades then it would be perfect. There are changing rooms to use if you or your little ones get soaked in water from the water playground. One thing annoyed me there was the presence of a family smoking the Hubble bubble, I think such thing should not be allowed in the playground especially around children.

  • Winnie Panjwani

it’s a ‘All-in-one’ play area. Time literally flies when here with kids. There’s so much to do. 5 different kinds of slides, water play, sand play, ramp for scooters, toddler play area, big kids play equipment, shaded bench area so picnic’s are welcomed, trampolines, musical play equipment. This place is packed! It also has sails over sand play and water play, so summers are covered. It has public amenities, although only one water bubbler. Parking can be a little tight on weekends, public holidays and school holidays(I mean why not?!)

  • Sebastian Peter

It's a big playground in Parramatta. In the evening, from 5 to 8 children used to play all sorts of games and it will be vibrant at the time. Walking trails, seating, toilet etc.. are available here. If we come with a group there is ample amount of space for group activities.

Great playground for kids and adults....Lot of space for morning and evening walk for all....Kids can drive cycles, skateboard. For small kids there is swing, slide and various outdoor toys....Has rain shelter for quick gossip with friends..... Playground is huge....Ideal for multiple teams playing cricket, soccer, rugby....Jones park is nearby after crossing the main road.. It even has iron equipments for people interested in exercise. Importantly, a basketball court for practice

  • Kirsten Lowther

A fantastic park for any age, with plenty to do and it encourages so much physical activity and exploration for all abilities. The water play area is excellent and the park is gated with plenty of shade, which means you can relax and let your kids play freely. There are toilets just outside the playground, and a water bottle filling station in the playground, the only thing missing is coffee for the parents, but I'm not local so there may be something close by. Highly recommend.

  • Chris H

Excellent playground for kids of all ages. Very kid friendly and would highly recommend a visit with the family. Bring wet clothes, towel and spare clothes to change as there is a wet playground area. The wet playground has water spraying and fountains which are undercover. Perfect on a hot sunny day to stay in the shade for kids. There was one section of the playground which is also shaded. Other playground areas were out in the open though, so can get quite hot.

  • Thomas Heenan

A beautifull playground, fully fenced and have. Lot for kids to play and enjoy. Unfortunately the big green play with the spider web inside the tower is a great concern of safety as there are no handrail for kids to hold on or have a grip on once they are at the top. They actually have to either take a big step or jump and if there is a mishap, your kids will have a big fall.

  • Robert Berrell

The park was very well kept it had childrens playing equipment which was brand new and again very well kept. It has brand new facilities, toilets, BBQ areas and there were families there enjoying themselves it was a great feeling to see those people enjoying themselves. I used to play football here in the 80s so yeah glad to see it still doing well.

  • S A

Playgrounds have slides, swings, tunnels, a couple of water play areas, trampolines & sand pits for the kids to enjoy. Parking can be pretty easy to find during the week but the weekend would be really hard as the bays and street parking fill up pretty quickly. They've got onsite toilets, bbq areas and seated areas. Good for a picnic or family bbq.

  • Tim Emmerick

Good playground, relatively new. It has: Slides Swings Merry go rounds Sand pit Water pumps Climbing equipment Trampolin Tunnels And the water park section One of the best features is that a large amount of the play equipment is covered by shade cloths. It also has a toilet block, picnic tables and BBQs. The entire play area is enclosed by a fence

  • Darius Taslim

Beautiful playground and newly finished. Catered for big kids and small kids alike. Also there is a water playground... But seeing no one playing it maybe it is not yet completed. There is also a small gym for parents if they want to work out. Edit: the water playground is now operational at my last drive by. Have not been there since :)

  • Karthick R

The children's playground used to be great, but so many things have been broken for a while.. Also, it looks like nobody is cleaning up the play areas any more.. It has become very filthy, which is a pity - all this playground needs is a little TLC from Parramatta council. All the local families will appreciate it!!

  • Aatish Das

Great park for a visit with family and kids. Lots of equipment for the kids to play with and the area is well maintained and kids friendly. The cricket ground next to the park is lush and green, very well maintained. There is also a water park and lots of parking nearby the park. A great place for family outing.

  • Rookie_15

Awesome play area for kids. It’s newly built, the place is very clean and safe for kids. The play area is quite big compared to other water park. What I love most is there is a place to sit down and waiting shade benches while moms/dads looking after their lil bubbas. Parking is accessible just beside the park.

  • AnBinh Phan

All my 3 kids (6,4,2) loved this park. It's fenced in with adequate seating for us parents. There's the water play, sand pit, and 2 playgrounds seperated on opposite ends which is good for the little ones. It's clean and plenty of parking. I couldn't get my kids to leave and we had been there for nearly 4 hrs.

  • Jenny P

This gated park is amazing! There is something for kids of all ages. There are swings, slides, sandpits, water pumps, musical equipment, a rocking boat which could easily fit 6-10 adults/children, in ground trampolines, tunnels and equpment to climb. There is even a water park inside which is great for summer.

  • Jo Pinto

Great playground for all ages. Love the soft rubber ground. It's got swings, lil trampolines, big and small slides, tunnels you can crawl through, sand pit, water play area for summer and more. I wish parents wouldn't let their kids eat on the equipment or run around with chip packets spilling everywhere.

  • Naveed Chaudhry

It's a great place to organize a birthday party, kids can play and you can enjoy some food. I was a birthday photographer and really enjoyed taking photos of kids playing with water. The park has recently been renowned and has a lot of play options from swings, jumping pad, sand play, great for all ages.

Great place for kids. Well maintained and clean. Lots of options for kids to explore. The water park area is a bit smaller as compared to other reserves. There are no childcare/family rooms which babies or toddlers could use. Watch out for the ice cream truck which keeps hovering around the place.

  • sunny shah

Really nice green place to relax and do some exercise. Definetly could be improved by leveling the ground better eliminating the pit falls that have become small puddles however, all in all good place. I really enjoy sitting under the tree (dont know its name) which is huge and massive love it.

  • Suraj Sharma

Beautiful playground for kids of all ages. It has water play areas, swings, big tower, sand pit, tunnels, trampolines, big tower, exercise stations, bbq areas, accessible toilets, a pavilion to play sports and plenty more. It is a complete playground for kids of different abilities.

Great fenced playground for kids with different play equipments for different ages. The big green slide has a spider web to climb up, it's very narrow and gets tricky at the top with limited hand support. My son got stuck half way and had to climb down.
