"Onikan stadium "
"This stadium is currently under renovation again, it is a multi-purpose stadium in Lagos used majorly for football matches has a capacity of at least 5000 people and it's the oldest in Nigeria"
One of the Lagos State owned stadium. Current ongoing upgrading and it has a large sitting capacity. It is located at the tail end of Marina and can be accessed through Obalended too. The parking space is not big enough as it is located in the busy CBD of Lagos. There are toilets available for spectators. I did not pay to gain entrance on the day i was here so i don't know what the charges per match is.
Really nothing to say here except that it's currently under renovation, so left wait for review. We were around there to take the picture of the roundabout that leads to City Mall and it environs for my wife to design for a project. See attached the work in progress picture and final before and after pictures. We will update the progress.
The Lagos state government has really tried in the upgrade of this icon stadium. Formally it's only side of the stadium that has shelter which is the VIP section but now all the entire stadium has beautifully designed shelters. The pitch is now synthetic that is artificial. I did enjoy my time there, the atmosphere is awesome.
Onikan stadium . Reconstructed by Tutkish company SLAVABOGU , COMMITED to quality and finishes their work onbor before time. They have so many prestigious jobs like Dangote refinery , Lagos air port , Akure road project and so many others. All their staff are very dedicated and friendly. Quality of their work is highly rated.
This stadium is currently under renovation again, it is a multi-purpose stadium in Lagos used majorly for football matches has a capacity of at least 5000 people and it's the oldest in Nigeria. It has well and neatly arranged seats, clean toilets and a large pitch for football.
Onikan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lagos. It is currently used mostly for football matches and it’s the home stadium of various Lagos football teams. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000 people and it is the oldest in Nigeria.
Awesome place for all large gatherings. The stadium ️ capacity is large enough to accommodate any Christian Worship, Political Events, High Profile Marriage, and More. Awesome time with God at the outpouring 2023 …
The transformation is so amazing. Especially for people that experienced the old Onikan Stadium. The only downside to this is the lack of adequate parking, so if you can, please use the car park under the bridge.
Place is surprisingly in good management shape. Thugs in form of security but location is rather safe. Place is under pretentious construction so security(note above) may come for you if you try to take pictures
One of the best places to go out and enjoy some exercises as well as family good time. It is presently under renovation but with the outlook seems almost completed. A good place to visit anytime.
I attended a gospel ministration there, and not a football game to evaluate the pitch quality et al. However, it seemed great for the purpose. It contained a God number of attendees. Thanks.
I have visited several stadiums in Nigeria but my visit to Onikan Stadium to watch the Super Falcons game against Mali in the Aisha Buhari cup was exceptionally. The stadium is beautiful
I went to Stadium to watch a Sporting Lagos. - my first live match in Lagos. The organizers did a great job. The security was greattt and the Stadium was well organizer.
Some parts of the stadium need fixing... Also, we couldn't find a proper place to ease ourselves and there was no one to guide. Anything goes there, basically.
Neat and well arranged stationed row of seats. A little bit greenery here and there which adds ascetics to the overall clean and quite place.
Only sporting lagos club makes us tolerate the stadium. It can be better. And those touts outside the stadium should be regulated.
It is one of the complete stadium base area I've seen , it has all features of most standard stadiums and it's an interesting site
Still under renovation to international standard. The grass is very good for matches and the sitting areas are well arranged.
Great experience, I was there for The Outpouring Live convened by Min. DUNSIN OYEKAN. What a powerful and spirited encounter!
What!! That place is massive! - Just the right place for November 2023 Outpouring. I flip my other reviews aside for now
A beautiful experience with warm and exquisite arena with a fantastic pitch for the game of football. Security is top notch!
Currently the best stadium in Lagos. However the toilet facilities need to be improved upon. Every other thing is great.
Onikan stadium still under construction by Slavabogu Nigeria Limited and I am proud to be a part of the project
Not a lot of parking. The stadium didn't have a lot of security during the event. Street vendors waltzed in.
New and standard but need some upgrading no score board no toilet and the Field not protected for invaders
Its large and spacious with alot of seats I couldn't count tho ..not so difficult to locate …
First time here was for the outpouring Lagos 2023 by Dunsin Oyekan and others. Great atmosphere
It was a Church program that brought me to this place, and I loved the place and the program
It is awesome, the serene environment, the renovation ongoing and parking space provided.
The turf is good but synthetic. Pavilion well designed to ensure good view of the pitch.
The stadium looks neat, tidy, and accommodates enough of the capacity of people. …
The stadium is good, the booths are comfortable. But the entry could be a nightmare.
Nice seats. Good protection from the rain. Altogether, great viewing experience
Very Spacious (as a stadium should be) but still a work in progress currently
Quite nice much upgrade and most of all good views for the supporters
It's a nice place to visit the atmosphere around there is cool
Need little care ,management should look after that stadium
It's a nice place, outpouring made me visit the stadium.
It was a great experience in the presence of the lord
It is really a great place for sporting activities.
Was such a delightful experience at onikan stadium
Good place but government needs to renovate it.
A good place but security seems to be porous
Very lovely stadium is good to be there
Conveniences are not well maintained.
