So glad I found OHPT when my orthopedic surgeon told me to get physical therapy to strengthen my leg muscles in preparation for bilateral knee replacement surgery. After 10 sessions over 5 weeks working with a wonderful intern I was deemed ready. Nine days after surgery I returned for post-op therapy and worked with brilliant PT Robert on flexion, bending and muscle strength 2-3 times a week. At my 8-week post-op visit my surgeon told me I was where I should be in in those areas. After a few more visits I was ready to do the exercises at home and I continue to improve. Everyone at OHTP is wonderful whether with scheduling, helping with preparation before and supervising exercises after therapy. The treatment and exercise areas are lovely and super clean. I also never worried for one moment about Covid during any of my sessions. I highly recommend OHPT!

I had been suffering with tendinitis on my right thumb for five months. I Couldn’t move the thumb and the hand was so stiff I was very limited and in a lot of pain. I tried physical therapy, acupuncture and cortisone shot but nothing worked so I ended up having surgery. A week after surgery, I started physical therapy at Optimum Health. My hand was still stiff and in pain. After my first therapy session with Francis, I left the office moving my thumb 25%. Eight visits later, my hand is almost back to normal. Francis is wonderful and professional. The therapy treatments has helped me gain full movement of my hand. I’m fortunate to have found this facility. As Francis said, if I would of come here first I wouldn’t of needed surgery.

I have had a meniscus tear for a year and finally started coming here. I never regret a session — the team at Optimum is so professional, caring, and flexible. They always have time slots that work for my schedule and the facilities are clean and spacious. Francis is a great PT — his massage work and exercise regimen has improved my mobility and the quality of my day to day immensely. Cannot say enough good things about this place, especially after trying a different physical therapy office earlier this year in DTBK that was way too busy and small. If you live in the area, Optimum is the place to come!

These people have helped me tremendously with my injuries and pain management. I’ve seen many therapists in the past and none of them helped me. I even had one therapist tell me they can’t do anything and to go get a massage. On my first visit to optimum health, Francis took a lot at my issues and came up with solutions immediately. The best physical therapy experience I’ve ever had. From the incredibly helpful receptionist, to the clean, organized and beautiful space and machines I was blown away by the quality and care they supply. I worked with Frances who immediately helped my feel at ease and educated me with helpful tips and tricks followed by a phenomenal session. I felt seen, heard and taken care of by the whole staff. Francis and his team at Optimum Atlantic Ave are the best. I had some serious Piriformis muscle pain, which could totally incapacitate me on some days, and kept me aching and awake at night. Francis is amazing! Aiden from his reception team is great too, everyone in the office is friendly and lovely to chat with. There is always a great playlist curated by Francis playing during the therapy sessions. I went in with a meniscus tear and they put me on a plan that included massage, electro therapy, biking and some weights. My knee got stronger over the weeks and now I have no pain. I’m so grateful!

I tried several physical therapy for my neck pain and I have never felt better than optimum health. The care that Francis Reyes gave me was amazing, he took the time to analyze the cause of the pain and showed me some habit changes in order to improve my posture, which was a life changing for me. The one on one care that optimum health gives their patients is remarkable.

Staff were great, very friendly, helpful and prompt with their responses. The clinic was very welcoming with a fun welcoming energy. The day after my first treatment with Frances my stiff neck was gone and my back felt a lot better. I am excited to continue my treatment and feel better in my body. Great PT. Diagnosed and treated my bicep tendonitis. Work well with people who are fit & active as well as those with deeper mobility problems. Polite and professional staff. Unfortunately I had to stop going since they no longer take BCBS insurance as of June 2023. Hopefully that changes in the future, but doesn't sound possible anytime soon.

Great physical therapy practice that I would like to highly recommend to anyone who needs quality care. My severe neck and back pain has become so much better thanks to the wonderful therapist, Robert, Olivia, and Barbara! The office is very clean and neat, and front desk staff is very nice, too. Highly recommended for anyone who needs therapy. My therapist Tony stretches me out really good and does great exercises with me. After doing therapy with him for the past several months I feel much looser all the time and I feel great. And he even does home visits.
