EDIT: I've ordered here a few more times of late and the accuracy of the orders over the past year or so is much more reliable. Food quality still amazing! --- Honestly, the food is fantastic. But we ordered delivery and an item was missing (Chicken Teriyaki Noodle). We rang at 6:55PM and they said they would replace it. It's now 8:30PM and still nothing. The meal in question was my son's so we ended up having to cook something he would be able to eat which defeated the entire purpose of ordering out in the first place. Amazing food (honestly probably the best noodles in West Melbourne) but unfortunately they are let down by ABYSMAL customer service.

I had tried a few dishes here (honey chicken here was the best that I've had so far) but unfortunately my family's recent experience was terrible. 1. Special fried rice was bland and clunky. The dish needed alot more seasoning. 2. Comebination fried noodle was too salty and not edible. 3. Chicken laksa did not taste like laksa. 4. Pan fried dumplings were the aldi gyozas they served us which was extremely disappointing as we pan fry these at home ourselves. I would not come here again unless I had cravings for honey chicken.

Not good service. The sauce is sickening. Ordered through a delivery service, but the order was missing an important item. When I called the restaurant, they said the chef forgot to pack the rice and they weren't willing to send it. told me to file a report through the service provider's app so they could handle it. When i told the lady it wasn't the driver's fault, she said there was nothing they could do.

Recently since I had covid my tolerance for Spicy food is zero. So I have been trying ordering no spice combination stir fried noodles on Uber eats from various restaurants. Nothing that I tried up until Oriental Express could even compare how good the combination stir fry noodles were from Orient Express. They were full on delicious, great portion, good value. Wouldn't think twice about recommending this restaurant to evety one. Thanks

I go here on a regular basis for a quick lunch or dinner. Servings are generous compared with other places and one of the cheapest. The food is made slightly bland and requires you to season to taste which is what I prefer as everyone is different. The restaurant isn't anything to write home about but in all honesty does it need to be so don't judge a book by its cover as in essence you are there for the FOOD

Waited to leave a review after 3 separate orders. Scrumptious right to the end of the meal everytime. Consistent, reliable and bloody delicious. I'm extremely particular in regards to my food. Added special requests to the order and after the 3rd order they got it right everytime. Clean lean meat and freshness With all other ingredients. Generous servings also. You will not be disappointed ordering from these guys. It's become a weekly healthy staple to our diet. Enjoy.

Hidden gem in Derrimut for Oriental Chinese cuisine and great portion size with reasonable prices to boot! Will be back to try other dishes!

Poor delivery service. Ordered and driver just dump the order in the front door without ringing the door bell or calling to say the food has arrived. Food sat their close to 1 hour, train your driver to follow process understand social distancing rules, but a simple customer service of notifying customers of orders would be good rather than let the food sit for 1 hour. NOT GOOD

Was a regular customer not anymore as it was local, ordered and said it be ready on time of arrival arrived waiting over 1hour. Many others where in the same boat, while you wait you will notice "mates" have priority. They say support local business? Save your time and go else where.. ps you undercooked the meat I leave it to the authorities with that.

Love the food always go there however tonight we ordered over $130 Of takeaway and did not get our sweet and sour pork. The young man said he didn't know what to do about it. I told him I will get a refund next time as I live in Point Cook. Still enjoyed the rest of the meal.

Not happy at all.. al for beef Mongolian they made mistake they said n gave me chicken thats fine.. came home it was chicken hot satay something.. so hot can't eat.. not happy at all..

Came in 8pm by myself. Was not greeted. Took a menu myself and sat down for 10 min deciding. Then went to counter to order and waited, waited waited. Basically got ignored. Also work are and fridge where food was stored for using was grubby

Not sure if we were in the right place after reading the reviews about this restaurant. Lunch opens 11:30, we got there at 12:00 and chairs were still on tables, lobster (?) tank was being cleaned, but we ordered anyway. Vegetarian fried

The restaurant is just opposite to Derrimut Coles. The food is really nice with reasonable price! Preferably make an order before people come as sometimes the restaurant could be busy. Love the food there! Will definitely come again!

Without a doubt the best local place for Asian cuisine. Have tried the same dishes (eg, nasi goreng, fried chicken ribs) at a number of other places and they never compare. I eat from here every week. 10 out of 10. The Best!!

I’m not sure if they were understaffed but to be honest my chilli chicken was just bland and the lady at the front just wanted to ignore me. I won’t be going back again.

I have always had great experience eating from Orient Express. My favourite is a cheeky honey chicken a fried rice pack for lunch,

the satay chicken was inedible, these guys are VERY hit and miss. Some menu items are good like noodles and omlettes
