Saw the mixed reviews and was hesitant to go but I am glad we did. Food was relatively cheap, $19 for a good T-bone with chips and salad. Beer wasn't as good as Jetty Road in Mornington, Garage Project in Wellington or Shambles in Hobart but few are. I have drunk a lot of beer around the world and Paddy's is the best value I have had. A pot of Golden Ale and Schooner of Porter were a total of $10.30 and I would rate them both 3.5 out of 5 which is on par with a Stone & Wood APA and a bit behind a Venom Golden Ale. As good the food it was nicely cooked and the staff fell over themselves to be accommodating. When I was unsure about the sauce they served it on the side and said it was complimentary. When I asked for no tomato, as it can cause Asthma issues, they made me a tomato free salad and came to the table and asked what sort of dressing I would like on the salad. If they made their porter with a bit thicker mouth feel and dry hopped the golden ale they may taken me to Nirvana but the price would have to go up a fair bit. Not sure why there were the negative reviews. Maybe they are hard to please or came on a bad night. We even got to listen to a pretty good guitarist who happily played requests.

The Gingerbeer is worth the visit, and the Summer ale is a good drop too. Recently they must have put up the prices as I was sure they use to be $5 a schooner. - Now $5.50, but still a bargain. Wanted to become a member as you can save 20c per beer, but was told the system wasn't working. The meals are delicious and the steaks cooked with excellent flavour. They have a somewhat outdoor/indoor smoking area with various TV's offering many different sports and betting. So if smoking and watching sports is your thing. The outdoor area is great too, with nice breeze provided by the fans strategically placed. With horse racing etc playing and a giant screen usually running a sporting event. I couldn't give 4.5 stars, so awarded the 5 as I think this place deserves it.

Edit: 08/18: its getting better. Perhaps reviews work. They no longer charge for gravy. Previous review: The bar staff here is awesome, and it's a nice place to gather for a work lunch on Friday... However, the restaurant in there has been steadily increasing prices and being stingy with salads and chips. Now that stingyness has extended to the gravy. Chicken Schnitzel used to be $12, choice of any gravy. I think that's good value. Then not long after, it went to $14, choice of any gravy. Yesterday I learned, it's $14, but you have to pay $2 extra for gravy. I'm sorry, but $16 for a chicken schnitzel has pushed it over the top, and way to far. Let me say again. Bar and staff is awesome. The restaurant, is 1 star.

Variety of beer is fantastic. Ginger beer is my personal favorite. Staff are relaxed and friendly with great service.. Food is out every two hours with a nice variety of sandwiches too cold and hot foods all provided by the establishment. Pool is a DOLLAR a game. Separate eating and smoking areas with also a large outdoor area to smoke and drink with tvs showing the sports. T bone steak for $17 with chips and salad is great value considering the quality. Only two negatives are its not very inviting from parramatta road and there should be a large viewing area for the NFL and league on a big screen. Otherwise great venue keep it up.

Hidden pub gem! Usually I am not a big fan of pub steaks as they are highly priced and the steak is not as great as expected. However, we came here a couple of times on a Tuesday for special T-bone day and Friday special steak day! Great price and absolutely DELICIOUS! Cook to perfection and soooo good for a pub steak for such great value!!! You get chips and salad on the side or you can ask for mash and veggies! Highly recommend when you're craving for a good pub steak!

I've been here twice and both times i had fantastic food. Finger licking good steak. Four hundred grams of T-bone, amazing. An exceptionally big place. You can come with a hundred friends. Alcohol is ordered at the bar and food is ordered in the second place near the kitchen, so you do not have to wait long for drinks. Very friendly service. Moderate prices. We will definitely come back here again. Very nice service. A place worth recommending.

The food was delicious and the service was very respectful and very generous with the overwhelming customer service but the machines in this joint are weak, weak features, weak free spins, weak payout if any at that. Donno what's up with every female wearing a short white skirt but makes are walking around in long pants a d jackets. Its sexist Thanks

Went there last week after work with a mate for a couple of beers and a game of pool. Upon entering we were greeted by utter rudeness by untrained bar staff and people who would rather text on their phones instead of being polite to customers. Do not drink the house beer. Time to clean the lines boys. Tenacity is the word of the day here.

Went late on a Friday. Really quiet. Beer was slightly rancid tasting, I disturbed several bar flies whilst ordering. Felt bad for the flies. Staff exude apathy unless you're on a poker machine. Also, be wary of the massage chair, it's falling to bits and if you sit on it and try the arm rest for a lean, you will topple out.

Took my cat to vet hospital nearby. Was down and sad over my cat illness. Went to Paddy s brewery for a cappuccino. Great Xmas decorations. Awesome staff. They asked me to join a free lunch : barbecue steaks prawns sausages chips salad bread rolls. amazing customer service. It was a very cheerful and uplifting moment.

Great local pub, nothing fancy but the meals are hearty, filling and ample portion size. Friendly faces behind the bar with very reasonable prices for both favourites and craft beer brewed on site and on tap. TAB, pokies if desired and outdoor seating, smoking areas and ample TVs for all codes on a weekend

After seeing on line that it's a brewery, we decided to go and explore some brews. Unfortunately, its no longer a brewery, so, we will have to explore elsewhere. Other than that, staff were friendly, the place was clean and the assortment of beers on tap were sufficient.

  • Adam Tuck

My home away from home! This place will surprise you, with great food (a different meat special every night of the week) and some awesome brewed-in-house beers. Staff are friendly and it never feels too busy. Great for a quiet feed and drink with your closest 20 mates.

  • Nahyung Lee

Good selection of beer The brewery beer selection offers ginger beer and cider as well which was a pleasant surprise Did not try the food but smell from the kitchen was good Alot of spaces to sit inside and a comfortable place to hang around for the evening

  • jim nicholas (Jimbo)

Went with a few work friends for friday lunch. Nice atmosphere, had the t-bone medium rare. It came out perfectly medium rare. Served with chips and salad. Chips a bit ordinary. We had the house brew - golden ale i think - and it was good.

  • rebecca bragg

The ginger beer was refreshing, and the stout was ok (although it just tasted like an 'old gold', not the chocolate stout in its name). However the pizza was disappointing. I was impressed by the fair price, but when it came out I

We haven't eaten here for a while, but tonight we did, and it was great. The food was excellent, and chefs get a A+ for service. All staff are friendly! Lost one star just for the look and feel as it's a bit outdated.

  • Paul Lange

Average Aussie pub. Very friendly staff at the bar. Beers aren't bad just it's clear why this brewery isn't a front runner for brewery of the year. Brewed for a more traditional Aussie beer taste which is a shame.

  • Randall

Good older style pub which has forgone the modern and unsightly renovations that has plagued the Sydney pub scene. Feels like a real pub from back in the 90s . Looking forward to returning here.

  • Andy Wana

Casual ambient but great food. The chefs and staff were very attentive to the patrons and the food. Generous servings, live piano music on Friday evenings. A gem when it comes to pub fare.

  • Fiona grainger

This is a great place to stay. Rooms very clean , food was wonderful and low cost and all the staff were so friendly . Will definitely stay at Paddys Brewery next time we visit Sydney

  • Bob Newman

Restaurant accommodated my vegan options, for cheap. The staff are great. Oh and BTW, the craft beer range is great too. My friend Chris got me out of the innerwest out here!

  • Pranav Nayak

Very quiet bar (surprisingly) but the food was pretty nice and the service was great. Haven't had a chance to try all the brews yet but I'll definitely be going back

  • Bob Lee

Nice quiet hangout with a big group of mates. Not too crowded on a Saturday night. Good looking service. Didn't have their paddys craft beer though

  • Shane Dalupan

Surf n Turf - Hands down one of the best steak meals I've ever had. Consistency from steak to sauce to topper. Perfect and worth the visit!!!

  • Jon Jermey

Just an ordinary pub now the brewery seems to have closed. Pleasant enough and not crowded outside market hours, but nothing very special.

  • George Kalamaris

We spent a whole afternoon at Paddys. The Pilsner Beer is amazing coupled with the Pizza consumed in the eatery. Highly recommended.

  • Ben L

The staff here are incompetent and rude. The beers all taste dirty and the place is just filthy in general. Dont waste your time.
