"Great affordable shopping! My only complaint is constantly feeling lost in this facility as there aren't any markers telling you what booth you are at"
There is a service which starts from central and ends at dulwich hill. There are two platforms and there is 1 bench to sit on at each platform. The two of the big rods show the next light rail arriving to the station. The paddy's market is beside the station. You can get rubik's cubes, jackets, souvenirs of australia, suitcases and etc.Sometimes when the light rail arrives at the station the train usually gets crowded with people and Can't get a seat to sit on.The light rail is red.The best place to eat is in jubullee park and you can get a light rail to jubullee park. The station is nearby darling harbour.
Cheap place for locals to shop. Come at around 4.30 PM on Sunday to get amazing bargains on groceries even some fish are 50% off. Parking outside the market is difficult to find. If you come when the Market City is open, you can park at Wilsons car park under the building. If you spend minimal $88 in a shop, you can validate your parking ticket at the information centre on level 1 to get 3 hours parking free. Some fashion factory outlets located in this premise. I think it has the only Review factory outlet in Sydney.
Great stop for people looking to explore Chinatown, heading off to the Central area, going to classes at UTS, visiting the Powerhouse Museum or just to loiter around until they have an idea of what to do. What I like about this light rail stop is that it’s located right next to the entrance to Paddy’s Market and a short walk away from the entrance to Market City. Also from this stop I can go into the centre of Chinatown and of course from there to the rest of the city
Great place to get a bargain. Plenty of cheap and nasty quality goods too. Buyer beware. If its too affordable then it may be cheap. Otherwise this site has plenty of variety and this will be worth discovering in the process.
Great affordable shopping! My only complaint is constantly feeling lost in this facility as there aren't any markers telling you what booth you are at. I feel "street" signs at the end of each row would be very helpful
Most of what they sell here is pretty plasticky, but it's probably still an obligatory stop on the Sydney map for tourists. Nice fruit and veggie market and a good place to buy wholesale spices.
I love to go shopping here once a week because this fresh market has well-managed, cleanliness, fresh products, various options and cheap! Made me enjoy shopping, cooking and eating!
Many of the reviews here are for Paddy's Markets itself - this is actually for the lightrail stop outside the markets. The Lightrail is frequent and clean.
They got weekend sale for groceries. $1 - $2 for a bunch of salads because they closed on Monday so they want to sell them quick. Very busy
It's always too sunny to wait outside for the tram, but if you don't wait outside then the platform fills up and you can't get on the tram
This is a good place to buy souvenirs! You can haggle a little, if you're lucky, some might give you a little something for free. ❤️❤️
Fantastic place to visit. Anything you could want under one roof. Everything is a fraction of the price of stuff at the tourist shops
This is a really cool underground market. There's as much really cool stuff as there is junk, and you can find just about anything.
Great amount of shops and variety. Bought a few small things, just a lot of fun walking around here. I'll come back again soon.
Its not as busy as couple of years ago as there is less vendors these days. I guess coles and woolies kills the competition
Iconic market place close to Chinatown with stalls offering Aussie souvenirs, Clothes, fruits and vegetables.
Mau shoping tengah kota dekat china town sidney.... disini lumayan komplit... Dekat.. Dan bisa tawar hrg
All kinds of things to purchase there. Hope to see it again after the Covid pandemic is cleared up.
Very different now with Covid. More than half of the market is closed. Not what it used to be.
Junk, once you visit you will never be back, like travelling to China without leaving Oz
Lokasi tepat untuk cari oleh-oleh yang murah meriah. Nyari pedagang Indonesia juga ada.
A lot of small stores selling small items including souvenirs for travellers
Very busy and has very good places to eat and make quick cheap purchases
One of the best destination for getting gift for your family or friends
